  • I was covered by AAA, but they told me they couldn't get me out of our driveway.  He said AAA wouldn't pay him for anything but the trip to see me and tell me he couldn't help, but he helped me anyway.  I'm not at all happy with AAA, but I would recommend CV Autoworks any time!  I even offered to pay him what AAA wouldn't, and he turned me down.  Good people!

  • They are honest.  They provide good service.  They remember my name.  Their pricing is good and they are very straight forward about things.  They don’t try to get extra money out of me or like that.  They are very direct, courteous and honest about my automobile whether things have to fixed on it or not and I really appreciate that.  The price was reasonable.

  • Very efficient and professional. The noise could have been a indication of one of two problems. Mechanic went with the lowest cost option first to resolve it. Appreciated that instead of going all out with the more expensive route. We felt confident and comfortable and will be going back with both of our vehicles in the future.

  • I took my car in because there was a whirring noise coming from the front undercarriage. Eastside automotive did an inspection for about $60, told me it was the center differential and it would be expensive to fix, likely around two thousand dollars. I then went to dealership in Yakima for a second opinion, and it turned out to be just a bad wheel bearing (which was what I suspected to begin with, hence going to get a second opinion). Cost to fix was around $300 and the noise went away immediately. I don't think Eastside Automote were trying to scam me or anything like that, and the guys working there seemed nice enough...but I would have been out a lot of money if I had relied on their expertise. Even though their labor rates are more, I'll be sticking with the dealership in the future.

  • I like nothing about them.  The first thing, they kind of got my attention was when I went in to get an oil change and check up.  While I was in the waiting room, they came to me and said” we have got your car on the rack, we were checking the alignment and it needs to be aligned.  It is going to cost this much”.  I thought, okay fine.  Its ten years old and it has never had an alignment so it might be a fact that it might be a little bit out of alignment, maybe so, I hadn’t noticed anything pulling or anything like that, so I thought I will let them do that.  Then, maybe a month after that, my wife has a three-door pickup truck and the plastic handle that opens up the third door broke and so she stopped by and asked them how much it was going to cost to fix the door handle.  They told her it would be $150.  I am thinking that it seems like a little bit much but everything is expensive these days and maybe it is lot more work than I thought so I was fine.  They had to order the part and she takes in her truck to fix it.  She told me that when she was sitting in the waiting room, they came in and said, “We got your door full apart and it is going to cost $325”.  She said she didn’t know what to do at that point so she said fine and paid it.  When she told me this, I was on the internet, and I looked up the part.  You can buy an actual GM replacement part for $21 and you can buy an aluminum, which is specifically made for that truck, for $10.  I also found a video; step-by-step, of how you replace this door handle.  All you need is a fork screwdriver, a hammer and meter nose pliers.  You don’t have to take the door apart; you can just replace it from outside the door.  So, someone that has no skills, no experience in doing this at all, it wouldn't take thirty minutes, probably just fifteen minutes.  I went to them and said that they overcharged me for this.  I thought $150 was too much but $325 was outrageous.  The service manager essentially told me, “Are you a technician?” I said no.  He says” then you don’t know what you are talking about”.  They were rude; they were not nice at all.  I told them” I will pay you $150, pay me back the rest of the money and we will be friends, otherwise you are never going to see me again” and they said” well, it has been nice knowing you”.  I don’t how they are about selling cars, but nobody should take their car there for service.  I wrote a letter to the owner and explained the situation to him, and he never got back to me so apparently he doesn’t care either.

  • I was very happy with them because they did a lot of little things that they didn’t charge me for. They were very fair. They were very upfront about what needed to be done. They were very good at communicating. I would use them in the future.

  • Dealing with Eastside is always awesome. Marty even told us how to handle the dealer when a recall item broke (save us around $2000). The dealer tried what he said they would and I handled it just the way he told me and the dealer covered the whole cost. This was awhile ago, so I don't remember the details, but it involved replacing the cooling system.

  • In October of 2005 I went to Canopy Country RV in Ellensburg WA to look at buying a "park model" RV to use as a rental unit. I told the manager of the business the only way I would be able to purchase a unit is to have them deliver it to my property as I have no means to haul an RV of the size I intended to purchase. The manager agreed to look at my lot. He said, approximately  two weeks later that everything was a "go". Therefore, I custom ordered a unit due to be delivered approx 90 days later. When the RV arrived it was the wrong color decor and the manager said, " if you read the back of your contract you will see that I don't have to give you the exact color you ordered". On top of that he called the weekend the unit was to be delivered and told me he had bad news. He stated that their insurance co. no longer allowed them to deliver RVs and offered me $150.00 to get out of it. When I told him my contract superseded his insurance co I was told by another member of the staff that they would gladly bring it to the address and "dump it alongside the road!"  I will NEVER buy from this company again.

  • I own a 2004 Ford Explorer. I recently moved to Ellensburg so this was the first time that I had taken my vehicle to the local Ford dealer for service. I was extremely impressed with the quality and professional service provided by Kelleher Motor Company. I had been used to paying well over $200 to have my brakes replaced in the past. At Kelleher's I had them done for just under $180. They also washed my vehicle for free. Thank you Kelleher's, you have earned the business of a loyal Ford owner.

  • This is the only place we will take our cars for anything except maybe an oil change. Tune-ups to brakes to radiators...they are the BEST. And, if it's something under warranty or call back, they'll help you know how to handle the dealer! We have been going here for at least 12 years.
