Very efficient and professional process with excellent results. Complete explanations were given as to operation and maintenance of the new automatic openers. This same company installed our new garage doors some months ago and did an excellent job there as well. These people know what they are doing and are very personable, proficient, and affordable. You won't be disappointed if you hire them!

    The Door Works
The free estimate visit was scheduled promptly, and Rod was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about the products he was presenting, and provided practical, seasoned advice about each product's design and function. The installation visit started right on time, and went very smoothly. The bid we recieved was slightly higher than others we got, but the quality and levels of service and professionalism were well worth it in the end. We are very happy with our choice and the service we received!

    Rainier Garage Door
The office staff was friendly and responsive, but did not explain on the phone that Rainier Garage Door does not provide free estimates. The tech who came to provide the estimate was friendly and punctual, but was under the impression he was on a service call, and requested $89 for coming out (a discounted price for Angie's List members - regular price $99). Had this been explained over the phone, I would have declined the visit, but the office was very flexible, and waived the fee as the situation was a genuine miscommunication. We ultimately decided to use a different vendor, but despite the mix-up, Rainier Garage Door appears to be a professional, quality outfit.

They had an opening three days after I got the quote from Jim and that was perfect. Jim was prompt on the scheduled day and cleaned up when done. All the old parts and doors were hauled away and all is very good.

    Precision Door Service
Went onto Angie's List this morning around 8:30 a.m. when my garage door spring failed and the door would not open.  Noticed Precision Door Service had a $233 Garage Door Double Spring Repair offer.

Since I couldn't get my car out of the garage and didn't want to make an appointment for the next day, I called the number on the coupon and was able to get an appointment for today (due to a cancellation) between 1 - 4 p.m.  I was told that the technician would call when he was in range.  The Customer Service lady scheduling my appointment was so polite and helpful.

As promised, Danny called me at 2:15 p.m. and said he was approximately 1/2 hr to 45 minutes away.  He arrived at 2:45 p.m.
Danny was polite, was very professional and went straight to assessing the situation.

I told him I'd had my garage door "tuned up" and the rollers replaced but it was 27 yrs. old, had seen better days and was definitely in need of being replaced...so asked him what his company had to offer that was reasonable.  This is when most repairmen go into their "high pressure sales mode"...but Danny was not like that at all.

I looked at a brochure showing the very wide selection of doors and decorative options available, was pleasantly surprised at the affordability and the warranty this company offered and I decided to order a new garage door.

Then Danny went about repairing my broken spring so I'd have use of my garage door.  I am supposed to receive a call by this Friday to let me know when the door will be available and to schedule for the installation.

If the installer is anything like Danny, I know I will be one happy customer and will not hesitate to recommend others to Precision Door Service!

The service was outstanding! I called this morning and it was repaired by noon. The serviceman showed up on time and was fast and efficient. He also showed me how to lube the door to prevent further problems and lubed my second garage door. Overall, great work!

    Precision Door Service
I bought a home late last year, which was built in 2007 and had a now discontinued Wayne Dalton iDrive opener. Late on a Wednesday night, the spring and drive failed. I contacted Precison at 3pm Thursday, hoping to perhaps have someone come by Friday to look at it. Ben was at my house by 5:30pm that day.

He was very familiar with the iDrive system, which is impossible to find parts for (I researched this before I called them). He went over my replacement options, pros/cons/cost/etc. Once I gave him the go ahead, he got right to it and worked past 10pm until the new belt drive system was totally up and running. He even hauled away the broken system, went over all the new features with me, and worked around our cluttered garage with no complaints. The new hardware is beautiful, smooth, quiet, and works like a dream.

Precison is clearly a top notch organization from Melissa answering the phone like a friendly pro to Ben who is a total rock star in the field. Highly recommend!

I unfortunately neglected to mention Angie's list and missed out on a 15% discount.

Ricky, sales rep came over for an estimate. Great guy and recently became a sales rep after being an installer with the same company.  Matt installed the door, extremely precise in the installation and tested several times before completion, that took about 4 hours.  Also, thanks to Ron for setting up the appointment and phone reminder the day of the install.

When they came out the first time, before they left, I asked if the garage doors would open or still work like they used to and he said, "Yes. " I didn't try them. Then, when I went to pull my car in the garage, it wouldn't open. I couldn't get them to work. They just would not work. So then, I called them up that day. They said they would be out that Monday. So they came back out that Monday. It was a different guy. He actually wasn't happy with the work that the first guy had done. He was a little ticked off he hadn't checked it out better. He checked everything out and said what he had done at that point was more adjusting. He goes, "You can leave it at that and there's no charge or you can replace them." He gave me prices on how much it was to replace the opener. So, I decided to replace the opener because I knew it wouldn't last long. I didn't want to get stuck with it broken and not being able to get in or out. So, I just went ahead and had them put in a new opener.

As soon as he plugged it in and pushed the button, it opened. But then, he said it still needed some adjusting. He adjusted the springs. It has been here for 20+ years. He said it was time to replace it pretty soon. He said it might last another year or so. He didn't really know exactly how long. So, he just did some adjusting. I thought he did a really good job. He spent a lot of time adjusting and fixing. I think he thought he had fixed them good.
