ADrain Pro Plumbing IncI did it a long time ago, when I first bought my house, and my husband had concerns so we decided to do it again. It's normally $100 plus tax. It's becoming more common now to do it when you buy a home. I read about that online, I think it was. Because I was buying an older home, the foundation of my home is actually from the 40's but there has been major remodels over the year. I really needed to know if I needed to build that into my contract. I think it was a condition of final purchase when I bought the home that I had it done. My husband seemed pretty happy. It sounded like it was all very impressive. I think I attempted to contact them through Angie's List once I bought the deal and hadn't heard back from them, but I gave them a phone call and they called me pretty quickly after I actually called them. A lot of these companies are out on the job most of the time and don't really check their email that often. Often times, emailing isn't the right way to go. They called me when they were coming, they called me when they got here, and it was all within the window. It sounded like their professionalism was an "A" to me.- Kristina G.

AWALT'S SEPTIC TANK & PORTABLEWhen I called to schedule the work I mentioned that the distance from the truck access to the septic tank was about 100 feet, so the person on the phone said that she would make sure to mention that to the operator so he would be certain to bring sufficient suction tubing. Walts Septic tank service showed up promptly on time and with enough suction tubing to reach the septic tank. They pointed out one problem that had developed since the new tank was installed: Roots from a nearby maple tree had managed to find an opening and had invaded the tank and had already developed into quite a tangled mass. He removed the mass of roots and recommended adding copper sulfate every six months or so to prevent that from happening again. He pumped both chambers of the tank, rinsed it well, and checked the flow from the tank to the drain field to verify that everything was working properly.- David C.

ABloomquist Septic InspectionMondo and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. They were punctual, friendly, and hard working. They let us know what they would be doing / when and then stuck to it...really really impressed. Even took the time to educate us on the system despite the fish calling on a Holiday weekend. Luckily for us, the system is going to keep motoring along...HUUGE SIGH of RELIEF!...but even if the news had not been good, there is no way I would have faulted these guys for their efforts. ARobinsnest Landscaping Services IncJason McGee of Robinsnest Landscape Services is one of a half dozen licensed and approved contractors for septic installation in Clallam county. I sent requests for bid to a half dozen contractors in the Sequim area, 3 responded, and only Jason took the initiative to call me in response to my email. Jason dug up the 2 access ports on the primary septic tank, cut the risers and installed them with Quickcrete, installed the lids with stainless hex bolts and cleaned up afterwards. He also made recommendations for cleaning and servicing the tank, and installed a filter between the primary and secondary tank to prevent solids from leaching into the drain field. Jason worked hard and continuously, and came in at the price I expected. Note that it's not possible to provide an exact quote on septic riser installation, since the riser height is unknown and is priced by the foot. The primary tank proved to be a little deeper than my father remembered. I would have Jason work on my landscaping or other yard needs any time. He's a hardworking young man, polite and soft spoken.- Jack H.

AGoodman Septic ServiceThey arrived right on time. Mr. Adams said that it was in good shape and did not need to be pumped for another year to two years. Since we were unfamiliar to owning a septic system, he took the time to inform us of how to keep the system functioning properly and which cleaning products can cause problems with the beneficial bacteria. ASummit Homes NW IncI contacted Dave a few years ago when we had damage on the siding of our Long Beach,Washington house from wood peckers.He responded quickly and got the job done for a better price than the other estimate. We live in Portland, Oregon so it was great to find someone that was honest and did quality work right there on the peninsula. In the last few months he has fixed the siding glass door, repaired a difficult section of the deck that had dry rot, replaced and salvaged the gutters and down spouts, and put in a new septic and drain field.He has always responded in a timely manner, given me sound advice when asked, and told me if something I wanted done was necessary maintenance or just cosmetic. Long Beach is fortunate to have a company like Summit Homes NW. It's been a pleasure doing business with them. FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.
