    McGregor Auto & Muffler
These guys are pretty busy, but Travis (the owner) got my truck looked at as soon as the check engine light came on and then scheduled the repair for later in the week. It was done on time and on budget.
These guys use all factory parts and spec fluids unless requested otherwise (I did), so their prices may be slightly higher than express lube type places or shade tree garages. I did request that they use parts from the local Carquest and they had no problem with that. Travis even noted that the part was about $100 less and still had the AC Delco part number. They don't charge flat fees for most things, like reading the trouble codes in the computer (something the dealer wanted $75 for and takes 30 seconds).
The mechanics replaced the fuel tank pressure sensor and then serviced the transmission inside of the same hour so I was only billed for one hour of actual labor (novel idea, I know) and then the parts unlike the dealer who wanted a flat rate for the transmission and then an additional hour for the sensor. Total bill was just under $200 compared to the dealership which quoted me closer to $800.
In another experience with them, they replaced a sensor on my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel which didn't fix the problem. Travis stated that the sensor was bad anyways and needed to be replaced. A little disappointed that I had to pay and it didn't fix it, but then he explained that the computer in the Jeep was the root of the problem and he did not have the tools to fix it, only to diagnose it. He spent 2 hours diagnosing it until he identified the problem and when he realized he couldn't fix it he stopped. I was NOT charged those 2 hours, only the parts and labor to replace the sensor that needed replaced anyhow. I felt this was fair and more than what any other shop would have done for me. I went away upset with my still broken Jeep but happy with the service and honesty of this shop.
McGregor's Auto does excellent work and I wouldn't hesitate sending my mother there.

    Campbell Chrysler Jeep Dodge
I had a very poor experience with this dealer and their repair shop. To start with, I made several trips into the dealership to get the vehicle AFTER it was repaired only to find it was still unable to make it off the lot. I requested that I get the old parts that were replaced and that never happened. It was at the dealer for over a month for things that should have been found before I purchased the car, specifically a cracked intake tube, a cracked resonator, and leaking injectors. There was a bunch of stuff they did that I didn't even know about because they broke it while they were working on it, but I couldn't get any straight answers about what was going on other than and quot;we took care of it, no charge.and quot; But that didn't mean that all of the other stuff was no charge.
After getting it back the first time, I noticed that I was getting fuel on my driveway at night. I traced it back to a leaking fuel return line off the passenger side rear injector. It had been leaking for a long time, but had gotten to the point were fuel was dripping to the ground. Something that would have been easy to spot if/when you had the engine cover off and the hood open. I took it back to the Campbell Chrysler and they stated they would have to replace all the injectors on that side of the engine and it would be ANOTHER $2000.
I bought a factory service manual and the diagram of the injector showed a small o-ring on the fuel return line clip. Campbell's wouldn't sell me just the o-ring, all they had in the catalog was the entire injector at $700. So I went to a motorcycle shop and they found an appropriate size high quality o-ring for $0.75 and the problem was fixed. Just to be clear, the place that sells Chrysler parts didn't have it and couldn't get it, but the Yamaha/Honda/Suzuki place that doesn't even sell cars had it on the shelf.
Overall, their mechanics seemed to be guessing at most of the problems and just replacing parts on my dollar because it was a diesel. The repairs took forever and on more than one occasion it either broke down on the way out of the shop or before I made it home from the shop.
The front desk staff had also had poor communication skills, meaning they said they would call with follow ups and rarely did. That said, they were helpful when I did talk to them and they made an effort in dealing with dealership management about not charging me for stuff that broke while it was in their possession. I never felt they were deceiving me or being dishonest, just seemed like they were being lazy or unorganized.

Excellent, as usual.  Very competent crew jumps right in, you're in and out in about 10 minutes.  Ernie doesn't do any actual work, but is usually there to joke with the customers (and the help).  Been going there for years.

    Napa Auto Parts
The staff at Napa Auto parts are always so helpful. No matter what it is that I have needed form, new windsheild wipers to spark plugs, they are always so quick to ask me if I need assistance and if there is anything they can do to help. And they are full of answers, ask them anything and if they dont know the answer themselves they will find out for you!!!

Kresky Auto Repair & Electric Inc
The entire experience was satisfactory. Usually expect to be somewhat ripped off when visiting a car repair shop, in this case the people, especially Jim, were professional, courteous and most of all made me feel as if they were doing their best to fix my problem without ripping me off.

Bill is the mechanic and he is great. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. They get the work done in a timely manner. There are times where if the fix is very minimal the charge is also very minimal. It's always been a very positive experience.
