  • It has been okay. It's unfortunate that I didn't realize that I had a $1800 deductible on my house. It was ridiculous because that was like the major claim in almost 30 years. It was really ridiculous. I think the insurance should be there, but people who don't use it regularly don't abuse it. The deductible is like 1 or 2% of what my home is insured for. It's just stupid and ridiculous because I already pay them every year for the house. They can do that and they do. It's $700 a year for my house and it's going to go up a few bucks a month because I actually made a claim. That is what I was thinking when I make a claim, they raise it. It's like they are not helping me out here by raising the rate. It's not a big bunch, but it's still some. It takes them a long time to get everything taken care of. Everybody wants it done now, that would have been nice, but that didn't happen. I did have another one for a long time and then I changed to this one in the last few years.

  • I got Allstate out of the phone directory. The agent I called gave me a quote the was good so I stayed with them. They helped me save a little bit of money but not too much. Their policy was good. It was car insurance. In the end I found that they were not the cheapest company. I found another company to beat their rates by a few hundred dollars so I switched to them and I haven't been with Allstate since.

  • They have a lot of different insurances that we use. They let me choose my payment plan. I could pay for the year or by month. I'm really glad I got it because I had an injury at work and they're really helping me out. They've been really good to me, they're very fair. When I got in a car accident they got it fixed in about three days, too. They're very helpful.

  • When I signed up Geico was helpful. Once I was officially signed on they made me have my brand new vehicle inspected. I kept telling them I wasn't going to take it to the shop they wanted me to take it to because I don't like them. But they kept harassing me. I told them I'd take it back to the dealer but I wouldn't go to that shop. They never dropped me though, they just kept bothering me. Finally I went to another place they let me use and I got the clean bill of health for the vehicle. After that they stopped bothering me but eventually I left them. I take insurance very seriously and I didn't like their service. The experience wasn't comfortable and I won't use them again.

  • Brett Bakken and his staff are very compassionate and attentive to customers' needs. He also follows up once or twice a year. He sends out notification for annual review of your insurance needs and you always get a birthday greeting from his office, both in the mail and via telephone. I have had nothing, but positive experiences with this insurance agent and he gives very good advice!
