Basement Waterproofing reviews in Burien

  • It went very well. The crew arrived and began work even though I was not home and kept me informed of the details and what they were doing in each of the areas.  They worked hard and completed the job on time.  I asked about a concrete wall that was leaking and they fixed it too.  I no longer have any water flooding my garage and I am very happy!

  • Victor was willing to come out to our house on a Sunday evening to take a look at our basement that had recently flooded in a few areas. He quickly looked at the issues, walked us around the house and made some logical recommendations for fixing the issue. He recommended a solution that would not require his company's service (he said they could do it but it would be more expensive than other places) that would solve 85% of the problem. He also let us know what we would need to do to solve the last 15% but this was really expensive. So he helped us come up with a game plan that's in our budget to fix the majority of the problem and then if we want to go for the full fix we always know we can reach out to him and his company can take care of the more invasive part. Honestly, I feel like he's save us a ton of money and time...and I'm going to be able to recarpet and use my basement again very soon which is great. I have my fingers crossed that his recommendations work, but with 30 years of experience and the confidence he had when making the recommendations, I'm feeling pretty confident. Thanks, Victor!

  • First, the people who came out to do the work didn't know about putting in the posts and had to come back later. Second, they said they knew nothing about sealing up the rodent holes. Third, the crawlspace still leaks whenever it rains.
Now we have a worse rodent problem, and when I called to ask them to come out to take a look, they said they only do that as part of their initial work. When I reminded them that they originally agreed to do it, but didn't, they reluctantly agreed to come out and look.
I also have concerns about the quality of the work. I'm certainly not an expert, but it all looks a little haphazard and slapped together.

Update:  PermaDry did come out and correct the unfinished work.

  • Our old system was (32) years old and a couple of years past needing replacement.
We got (3) bids and All Seasons was middle bid but, very close to low bid and $5,000 lower than high bid.
We went with All Seasons over the low bid because of good Angie's list reviews and more experienced than low bid contractor.
The Job they did was outstanding and I felt "well taken care of".
Mike the installer and rest of crew seemed to genuinely love what they do and take pride in their work and are not afraid or to busy to talk with customer as has been my experiences with some other contractors. Mike was always available to answer any question once the job began. The Job was very large and took (6) days to complete.
They were genuinely a pleasure to have worked with and I am saddened there is no more work for them to do here.
         Thanks All Seasons,
I did have a blessed day by going with All Seasons,
         Mike

  • They found that we had a sewer pipe open under there when they got there.  It never smelled because it was full of crap.  The alarm system that they installed will go off if the sump pump fills up.  They showed my husband what they did and then we paid him.  Our crawl space was full of water and we had them here to clear it.  There was a plugged up drain.  The guy stuck his arm and pulled out a bunch of branches.  They were probably the best out there.  They always cleaned up their mess.  They took care not to damage our flooring.  I was not sure about the price comparison as my husband handled it.

  • I am very happy with their service. The drain actually works which I really like. They were prompt and it took more time and workers than what they had planned. It took about 5 or 6 days. They stood by their bid, they were timely and most importantly, easy to work with.

  • We have worked with many contractors over the years, some great and some not so great, but we would absolutely recommend Galen and Seattle Superior Waterproofing without hesitation.   The entire experience, from beginning to end was positive and well worth it and we got a good product where we can now finish our basement without worrying about flooding.

  • He was very prompt. He was very thorough and walked around the entire house for the inspection. I showed him the situation with the poor drainage in the lower part of my yard and in my basement. He gave me his opinion and options to fix the issue. I was appreciative to get some possible fixes for my drainage issues. He was a gentleman and very friendly.

  • The worker was very polite and did his work, cleaned up asked me if there was anything else, and did help me open a cabinet door I could not. My dissatisfaction was the cost and the owner of the company had told me that "it was not a big job." Then, when he made an invoice, he added two hours for a foreman-which there was none and the contractor fee was 30% of the workman + foreman + few supplies. I had not before requested an estimate-so I could not say anything!I felt that this was too expensive.

  • When they recieved the product (it took 3 weeks, but the weather in Conn. delayed shippment) they called and installed the cover the next. day. The 2 people they sent first described what the work would involve, did the work and then had me approve the work. All went fine.
