    Called from travel; provided presenting issue, provided tenant's contact information and permissions to do the work, including credit cart authorization. Had to call back several times, they called me back instead of the tenant, showed up late, didn't repair the first two visits... ordered part. Waited over a week, and had to call back to reschedule and prompt them to get back on the schedule (no priority, we had to get back at the end of the line....this alone has me not dealing with them again). Understand that technical repairs can some times be tricky or go south... "kinda works, but not fully" ; but the "people" aspects of this service was terrible.. getting info taken and conveyed to the service person, or to the tenant... late arrivals with little communication ... one service visit was in the evening near 9 PM!! ( Yes, I trust this tenant's report). Talking with the manager did help to get the ball rolling...but it was not a turn key experience...it took a lot of my time and effort to get the fridge repaired.

    Matt (owner) was prompt and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He identified the issue quickly and was open and honest as we discussed whether the repair or replacement was the wisest solution. The machines soap dispenser had been leaking for a long time. Matt showed me the calcium build up, the wet drum and the ruined shock. Matt also was open about how he gained his experience and why he and his wife started this company. I felt like we won the repair lottery. I have three friends with failing washers and I have personally recommended Peninsula. Flat labor fee, professional, knowledgeable.

    The repairman knew exactly what we were talking about over the phone because of a weakness in other Whirlpool refrigerators & actually brought the part we needed. He was friendly, informative, & fixed the problem for us. It was such a relief because we are in a new house & were afraid the water would ruin our new wood floor. Very pleased with this company!

    Very professional, very thorough, very knowledgeable- I tries Sears repair and 3 times waited all day to have no show. Mannings came sand day, exactly on time, diagnosed the repair, did a stop gap to bridge time to get ordered part, returned with part and fixed under estimated time. Excellent service and work!

    Drew called to let me know he was coming, was polite and pleasant. He confirmed my initial diagnosis - that the belt had been thrown and needed to be replaced. On examination, he identified that the belt was not the problem but the symptom of a drum that was not properly aligned. He noted that he could put the belt back and likely get me 'a few more days' - and then took the time to open the back and just confirm his finding with the drum. He showed me the larger issue, and advised me that it would cost more to replace than fix. He then took the time to discuss expected life span, what things to look for/avoid in replacing, expectations for the dryer that I bought with the washer (what things to watch for to understand when it was reaching end of life), etc. All in all, this was an ideal service call, in which Drew addressed the reported problem, the underlying problem, explained the logic, and ensured I understood what he was seeing and how he was making his decisions, so that I could have confidence in his advice.

    The replacement went well.  But one month later it failed.  I had a written 90 day guarantee.  The owner sent out two employees to look at it.  They did nothing but said they would report back to the owner and he would contact me.  He never did.  I called many times and always was told he would call me back.  He never did.  It was clear he had no intention of honoring the guarantee.

    They were honest and gave us a good assessment. They are pretty reasonable. He figured out that the compressor was burned out and it was actually more cost effective to buy a new refrigerator. He did a reasonable job. He didn't try to talk us into a repair that wasn't necessary and I was happy with that. I was pretty happy with them. They were professional. The only issue was that it took them a little longer to come out.

    John called me the in the morning to let me know he would be at my place btwn 2-4pm. John showed up when he said and quickly went to work on my washer. He had an anwser after about 15min. I was hoping for a small repair but John told me the motor would need to be replaced and that it would be more cost effective to buy a new washer. I appreciated the honesty and did end up buying a new one the old one was 12 years old so I am sure if we had made the repairs I would have been calling Roy's again for something else. I was pleased with my service and if I need appliance help in the future I will call Roy's again.sher was not longer
