Sewer Cleaning reviews in Bothell

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Showed up and wanted to charge 200 dollars For the estimate. This was not shared beforehand. We declined the estimate and replied to the confirmation email to express our disappointment about not setting expectations on the upfront charge. This prompted a phone call from the company who then proceeded to pin the issue back on us by saying we should have told them we wanted a free estimate. I reminded them they called me, I didn't call them. I work in customer service and very familiar with how to handle these situations. This guy lacked total professionalism and I would even go so far to say manners.

  • They were great and said someone could be there within 45 minutes. He arrived on time and had to remove toilet to get to drain/sewer line and had to quickly do emergency water vacuuming as it "geysered"out of drain. In root-rooting and clearing sewer line he found a large root ball that had blocked the flow and removed it. Even went under house in crawl space to get camera in past several pipe joints to make sure there were no breaks in line. Reinstalled toilet and everything worked fine. Highly recommended!

  • It was always a pleasure to deal with this company, both via the office and with the workers on site. They explained plans clearly, gave me a clear written bid, showed up when scheduled, and followed through as expected, not leaving any horrible mess. There isn't anything exciting or glamorous about a repaired sewer line--nothing to show off to company--but it is great to have the work completed before real troubles set in.

  • I was given a next day appointment time, and was told I would get a call when the repair person was on the way. I did get the call and arrival was well within the window I had been given. Spencer was impressively knowledgeable and professional, as well as friendly and happy to answer questions. Since I really was not well informed about our sewer access point (though I have lived here for 27 years), upon arrival Spencer experimented with a small access point near the garage laundry sink. Then he used some electronic scanning equipment outside and found the actual sewer entry point. That allowed him to use a larger scale machine to flush the system of roots and detritus. By the time he left, all our toilets and sinks were flowing freely. I live in an older neighborhood (early 1960s), and the sewer linkage connecting my home to the city sewer has definitely deteriorated. I had some of it redone several years ago, and now it is probably time to do the rest. To illustrate my faith in this service provider, I have made an appointment for next week for him to bid on replacing this infrastructure.

  • The plumber showed up several hours late without letting our house sitter know. She was doing us a huge favor and had no option but to sit around and wait. After identifying the source of the water, the plumber (Dan) went through several different types of snakes to be able to clear the blockage. We are thankful he was able to do the work; however after an expensive visit >$800 he mentioned that he would send a receipt with details on the work he did as well as his recommendations on what to do next. It has been over a month since he did the work, and we have received nothing. I have called and left four voicemails with Price Busters, as well as sent four e-mails and have received no response. Not only do we not have a receipt, but we do not have an ability to identify and solve the underlying problem without hiring another plumber to do the same work. I was planning on hiring Price Busters to come hydrojet our lines; however without a response - it certainly means we will be making a new plumbing loyalty.

  • Jeff and his son came out and evaluated the problem and proposed a fix. I had several other septic businesses come out and make promises that never materialized so I was skeptical  about the septic business as a whole. Jeff got right on it and followed it to completion. It took him and his crew, which were professional and friendly, much longer than anticipated but he continued on while staying positive and friendly. I highly recommend this company!

  • Things went pretty much as expected. We had a water backup into the house and have had issues with tree roots in our sewer lines in the past. Spencer was on time and explained to us exactly what he saw in the sewer line. He even showed us that there was a spot in the line where a gasket was intruding into the sewer line and should be repaired in the near future. Spencer made everything easy for us and we would definitely use their service again in the future.

  • Spencer, the owner, and Ryan came out to my house to inspect the sewer line and determine if there were any issues with it.  I was contemplating the need to dig in an area on my property where I thought the line might be, so I needed a locate of the line to ensure there would be no problems.  Although there was an initial inspection of the line which appeared to indicate a belly in the line, Spencer's inspection found no indication that any portion of the line needed to be replaced, but was in good shape.  I had him also clean out the line since grease had built up on the front end due to earlier activity by previous owners.  I have learned that no greasy food or oil should be put down the drain.  Spencer also told me that I should be sure to flush clean water through the system weekly so that solids would be pushed out to the main since my line was well over 100 feet long.

I really appreciate the good work Spencer and Ryan did while doing the inspection and cleaning.  I really like the fact that Spencer made sure I understood what I should and should not do to keep the line in good shape.  It is not an area of home ownership that I have ever spent any time thinking about, yet it is a critical system that must be taken care of by every occupant.  Now that it is on my radar, I plan on doing my best to be extra careful with all my plumbing, sewer, and water systems, and having future inspections as a routine part of my home maintenance.

Thanks to Spencer, I feel better prepared to make good decisions about what should and should not be disposed of in this way.  Now, all fat and greasy foods go into my regular waste can, other leftover foods are recycled in my green waste can, and during the summer months I compost green waste that breaks down quickly so I have home made compost to feed to my plants.

  • After speaking with me, Tracy realized I was very upset about the situation, and had Rick call me to better understand my concerns and the facts of the situation.  I told him what had been done by the other company, and the information they gave me about the results of their inspection.

Rick treated my concerns with great empathy and concern, and told me that in his experience the situation probably was not as dire as I thought.  He said he would have two of his folks come out the next morning to re-do the inspection and determine if a replacement was required.  Just speaking with him over the phone calmed my fears, and gave me the feeling that everything would turn out alright.  It was like talking with your big brother who you could always count on to take care of a difficult situation you found yourself in.

It turned out the owner of the original company was at my house an hour after a call I made to them before contacting Aces Four.  They re-did the inspection and found, as Rick had surmised....that the line was fine, the dip in the line was minor, and they saw no issues that would require the line to be replaced.

I will rely on Aces Four for my future plumbing, sewer, and water line needs from now on.  I thank Tracy and Rick for their concern and quick response to my situation.  They clearly care about their customers, and will do their utmost to provide outstanding services to anyone who calls them for help.

  • We had a couple of bids done on the job.  I chose NW because of the care taken with the bid.  The other companies came out measured and walked away the NW representative took the time to talk to me and explain what would be done what type of material would be used.  NW was a tad higher but because they took the time to educate me during the bid process I chose them. The job did not go as any of had planned, the ground was much harder than anticipated and much rockier, but NW took all the  challenges in stride and addressed all the issues timely and professionally.   The job took longer than we thought but I am very happy with the final outcome.  I am not sure if any other company would have handled all the challenges in such a professional manner.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.  Also a very helpful office staff too.
