  They assessed the situation, identified the problem gave recommendations, and began work immediately. They trapped the rats in multiple areas of the house, helped to find entry areas, closed-off holes in house. I hired them for ongoing maintenance (poison traps on exterior of house) through the winter. Cost for initial “rat elimination” (1-month of trapping) seemed a bit high - but there was no cost to the initial assessment. Monthly maintenance cost is OK.

  We discovered evidence that rodents were in the attic again (rat feces). Kyle presented at my front door on time (8 am). He was very polite, professional in appearance and manner. On a cold rainy day, he cheerfully climbed into our attic and down into our crawlspace under the house, made a thorough check for possible access points, then set and baited rat traps. We discussed how to prevent future infestations. Kyle was very knowledgable and made some recommendations. He returned in 1 week to check the traps. Again, he was very timely and professional. Even though no rodents were caught (yet), he reviewed with me measures to take to block access points (small opening where dormer and roof come together, trim tree branches away from house, remove ivy from chimney). I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

  We signed up with United Pest Solution months ago, but we have a year contract with them for regular maintenance and the occasional bug stomping. They have great reviews on Angie's List, so we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed.
  They came to our house on time were very professional and did a great job explaining all the possible entry points bugs and other things could get into the house. We originally had a rat issue, so they placed traps/bait strategically throughout the house. We also had issues with ants as well, and they did a thorough spray down of the house. We had to be out of the house for 4 hours, so make sure you plan something fun to do after they spray.
  For the price and the service (very friendly!) they are worth it. I had to call them about paying a bill, and their phone customer service is top notch. They took care of me very quickly and happily.
  So far, we haven't had any issues with bugs or rats (fingers crossed).
  Overall, I think United Pest Services is a great service at the right price. They definitely know what they were doing and were able to answer any question we threw at them.

  We were very pleased with his service.  I called in the morning and he returned the call quickly and scheduled the appointment for later that same day.  He was prompt and called 10 minutes prior to arrival as promised.  He was very knowledgeable and thorough,  He was very willing to share information, very personable, and he has a great sense of humor.  He was very easy to work with and definitely committed to solving the problem.  We will call him again in the future.

  Used Angies list deal for $99 bee removal otherwise would have cost about double that which seems expensive for a golf ball sized nest.  They were very prompt, took care of the nest quickly and were gone within 30 minutes.

  I have used Eastside Exterminators regularly since Sept 2015.  The representative Max is who came to the house and assessed what needed to be done.  Since then I have called a couple of times and Max has always come and been very honest with me about what is going on.  I trust Max to tell me the truth and have found that he does - even when a previous service hadn't held up - he took the high road and owned it and fixed it - then came back and inspected to make sure it was holding and done correctly.

  The work was done very well, the follow-up promise did not happen.  This is the second time this has happen with us on the follow-up.  This first time they came and did a lot of work they left traps outside the house, we discontinued our service with them and they left the traps.  On the second time they took the trap they left and did not do the follow-up, however in both cases there work was very well done.

  All the technicians have been very courteous and punctual. The first technician had a hard time getting rid of the yellow jackets and had to return once or twice to spray again. Later, we were assigned another technician who seemed a little more knowledgeable and checked the house more closely and made more recommendations for how we can prevent pests. We paid a couple hundred dollars to have someone come out from United Pest Solutions to fill in places where mice and insects were getting in. It wasn't a huge job, but it was one more thing we didn't have to deal with. That has helped a lot. If you don't get the results you expected, you may want to call UPS and have them check your house again. Their customer service is quite good.

  tsmy cat brought a rat in that took up residence in the dishwasher. none of the traps set did any good, the outside bait traps, were changed every 2 months, and the reports said that much of the bait was eaten, but if so where were all of the dead rats? and i felt suckered into the contract. also covered up holes/trails under the house, which was the only thing that i think really did any good. they never picked up the bait traps after the contract was over. also decided that if my cats did catch any more-they always do, i didn't want them to catch an animal that had eaten poison.

  Provided traps for rodents and sprayed for carpenter ants. We had the service for approximately 18 months. The service was very punctual in the beginning, but as time went by the service became more and more superficial. They would check the bait traps, but I never saw them spray after the first couple of trips. So in essence I was paying their monthly fee for someone to come out and take a 10 minute walk around my house. Not a good value for the money in my opinion.
