    They cleaned up everything. They come out twice a year under a service contract. They clean the electronic air filters. I also get discounts on prices. It takes them about an hour while they are here. I have used them for 15 years.

    After calling them, they came out to see what needed to be done, said it would be an easy move. They arrived on time, updated and moved the unit and supplied a composite platform for it to sit on.  Extended the wiring and tubing as needed.  We are extremely happy because the heat pump was so noisy by the back door.  They went above and beyond to do what we asked.  I thank them for their expertise and helping solve our problem.

    Delta Heating and Cooling installed a new heat pump and furnace today.  The quote was in person and immediately after my first inquiry, prices were very reasonable with no added attempted sale pitches for things I did not need nor want.  Agreed on a scheduled date and time and the employees were very prompt, professional and personable.  Followed up with a visit by the owner.  Overall (granted this is the same day of installation - but I foresee no problems - unit is working fantastic) I am very pleased and impressed by everyone at Delta Heating and Cooling.  Thank you Glenn, Jon, Chris, Fossil, Mike and Carisa!

    The guy came up here. He charged me almost $400. He was here less than an hour. He didn't do nothing. I showed him what the problem was actually. I fixed the problem by turning my air conditioner back on because it was just over heated and all I had to do was turn it back on the next day wait 24 hours and he still gave me a bill of almost $400. The whole time he was on his cell phone and then when I called his boss and talked to him about this bill he told me that the guy doesn't have a cell phone. I wasn't happy with the services or billing or anything. I will never use them again.

    Let me start by saying i was a little biased when selecting this vendor.  17 years ago, when we purchased our home, our mortgage broker referred us to Delta, as they were fairly new, but, he knew the owners, and they were top notch.  We received the best quote from them at the time when we wanted to add an actual heat pump, but, then we were never able to finish it.  I have kept tabs on them and when i seen them on the PUD vendor list, and seen they had good reviews on Angie's list, i asked for a quote. Again they came in the lower bid.... it was a no brainer who we would select.
    so, current day....the installation went well.  They were supposed to be at my house at 11:30 or so...but, i received a phone call that they had issues with their current job and would be running late...about 1:30pm...which was fine, and i appreciated the phone call, as it let me stay a bit longer at work.  Once they showed up, the guys went directly to work. They finished by 3:00 or so. Unfortunately, they had also forgotten their paperwork, so i couldn't get an invoice, but. that the office would get that to me, so they couldn't take money from me...again, odd, but, ok. I was also told that someone was supposed to come and check their work, but, he didn't have time...i thought they had said glen, but, i could be wrong.
    I was then told that the electrician still had to come and finish the wiring.  I was a bit surprised, as i thought one of them was an electrician, but, since i've never had this done before...ok.  They called him and he would not be there until after 4. ok.  At least this allowed me time to pick up my granddaughter.  Once the electrican arrived, he went right to work and finished by 5:00 or so.
    so, all is good....now...the next day i call to find out what i needed to do about payment.  I was asked if i could just come to the office and pay it. well, okay.  It's out of my way, but, again...ok. I went to the office, made payment, and received my receipt.  the gal explained that the PUD would need to do an inspection since it was done as part of the rebate program, etc...but. i needed to wait for paperwork. again, ok.
    a couple weeks later i received an envelope with 3 different permits in them and a note that read, 'post these permits' and 'contact city for inspection'.  i called the office to 1) Ask about the permits as they showed that they needed to be paid, and 2) to make sure i was supposed to call the city.
    Now this is where my frustrations begins:
    The gal i spoke with told me that the permits had already been paid for, but, didn't understand why the note was written that we would have to contact the city ourselves.  she said they would do that.  and then asked...who are you?  i gave her my name, explained i just had a ductless unit put in, and am trying to complete this process. Well, she couldn't find me anywhere in the system.  Are you sure we did work for you?  um. yeah, i'm staring at the new unit...and you're sure that we did it?  seriously?  i'm holding permits in my hand that says so. sigh...after we went back and forth for several minutes, she finally just took my name and the permit number and said that she would have to do some research to find it, but, should be able to with the permit number.
    She then said that Delta would contact the city, and when would i like the inspection.  i explained that i was going out of town, and she said that it was okay that there was no rush to get it done.  So i picked a date, september 26.  she then asked me, morning or afternoon.  I asked is there a specific time, and she said, no, that i would need to stay home either all morning or all afternoon, as they had a 4 hr window.  so, i chose the morning, between 8-12pm.  She said she would get it scheduled.  great, i'm set.
    the morning of the 26th, we waited, and waited.  I had a dr. appt, at 10am, and my husband was going to wait for the city inspector before he had to leave.   so, around 9:15am,  i thought i had better call Delta to check on the appointment and see if i could find out a better time frame for the inspector.  i was told, she wasn't sure what i was talking about, as they don't make appointments with the city...that WE were supposed to.  Well, i almost blew a gasket.  i explained that i had spoken with someone who made the appointment, and i was pretty sure it was her.  i was told nope, they don't do that and she wouldn't have said that. then why was i asked to pick a date and time to be home?
    she definately sensed my anger.  i'm not sure if she realized she DID say that or just wanted to make me happy, but, she then offered to call the city and see if the inspector was available and call me back.  well, i left for the doctor, and she called back within 10 minutes and told me the inspector was on the way.  ok.  great. thanks
    a few minutes later, my husband calls and says the inspector signed off, but, now we have to contact the electrical inspector. what?  so, i called Delta back and asked if he meant PUD inspector.  i was told that 'no' the PUD would contact us directly.  the inspection is for a regular electrical inspection, and to contact the electrician.  i asked why would WE contact him.  doesn't he work for you?  no, he's only contracted to us, you have to call him...and here's his cell number.  unbelievable.  so, of course i take the number and call and left a message......it is now October 1st, and i still have not gotten an electrical inspection....no return call....nothing yet.
    so, bottom line...
    1.  yes, they were efficient in getting me a quote
    2.  yes, they did a great install, and the unit works great
    but, the administrative part has been a nightmare...at least to me.  I didn't realize that the customer had to do so much of the 'after work' concerning all the inspections, how the office records could be lost or information relayed incorrectly, and how 'hands off' the company is once the unit is in. 
    would i use them again? i don't know, i would have to thing twice if i wanted to go through this paperwork nightmare again.

    I had mixed experience with them. I think they are pretty pricey. A week or two ago, we had some problem with the system and I called a different provider who were prompt and solved the problem quickly and I can���t tell for sure if they were pricey or not.

    Apollo have been doing the maintenance twice a year and I think they are pretty pricey. During the spring check up, they failed to find the problem that popped up a couple of weeks ago. I think they have great service but they were not able to prevent the problem we just had.

    We have used Ryan for our heat pump a couple times. We had a Lennox pump for about 9 years. He came out and fixed it a couple of times, but the last time was a larger issue. Even though he was not able to get the parts needed for the repair he recommended a couple other companies. After deciding on replacing the pump we got several bids from different contractors. He was set on what was best for us and our situation not the biggest and baddest unit. Ryan does very good work, he is quick, clean, and honest.

    Our home was built in 2007, yet the previous owners did not have air conditioning installed.  Before contacting any service company for heating and air conditioning estimates, we researched the best type of application for our particular air and heating needs with an environmental engineering firm.  I contacted numerous companies for estimates.  In conclusion, we decided on a Daikin Split System with ceiling mounted multi-flow compact and cassette type units because of their extremely high SEER rating, quiet operation, efficiency and reliability. 
    Dave Hubbard, owner of Chinook Heating and Air provided a very reasonable estimate for the type of system that we needed for our particular application.  Dave and his duct work installers showed up on time to install the duct work.  The electricians were on schedule to install the electrical wiring and components.  The techs then installed the outside and inside units.  The type of system that we had installed is very new to the local market, so it required several adjustments.  Each time that we called Chinook, either Dave himself came out immediately or sent his most experienced techs.   After the final adjustments were made and the system was up and running to full capacity, we can truthfully state that we could not be more pleased with the system that we had installed.  It is so extremely quiet that you cannot hear the indoor units kick on.  The outdoor unit is so quiet that you have to be right on it in order to hear it running. 
    To say that we are amazed at this system's functionality is an understatement.  The entire Chinook company - Dave, the installers and techs as well as his entire office staff went far above and beyond anything that we could have imagined or hoped for to satisfy and meet our needs.  If you want true customer service from a company and staff with the highest work ethics and integrity - then hire Chinook - you will not be disappointed!.

    Fuse Heating & Air Conditioning
    I had a warranty through AHS on a home I purchased a few months prior...  The outside unit of my heat pump would make a very loud and high pitched sound when the compressor would de-energize.  I have had many heat pumps and this is not normal.  I put in a request on-line and was contacted by Fuse.  I scheduled an appointment.  The tech showed up, listened to the sound and said "that is normal, your unit is working fine" and charged me $60 "copay" for the call.  My thinking was that something was probably failing and it would be better to call them sooner rather than later and it would cost AHS less to fix the problem early (my co-pay would have been the same regardless).  The tech did not agree and siad they would only look at it if it was not functioning.  They did not even try to diagnose the problem or try to work with AHS to fix it.
