    Tarbet, Dr. Kristin J.
Avoid Dr. Tarbet. Three years ago, I had blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Tarbet. The pain she caused will last the rest of my life. I can no longer close my eyes all the way plus, there is a spot above my eye that remains very tender. Because my eyes dont close, and the surgery went haywire the entire white of both of my eyes is red. I have learned that once the eyes have gotten very red for an extended period of time the red will never go away. The pain and the redness are so severe that I take steroid drops every few months to get some relief. Steroid drops can cause glaucoma, so I am only allowed to use them occasionally. The drops dont remove the red but, the drops do help with the pain for a few days. In addition, my eyes, since the surgery, are different sizes. So, with one eye that droops and the redness I would say the outcome is a combination of cyclops and she-devil. After seeing thirteen doctors I have finally accepted that there is not much they can do to correct the mistakes. The explanation that makes the most sense is she cut my muscle. However, no one has been able to definitely and totally diagnosis what it was she did to cause such a poor outcome. According to her she is the best and she teaches others to do this surgery. That is very scary if it is true. She said she didnt cut the nerve but I personally dont trust anything she says. Tarbet did not follow-up with a doctor she referred me to or with my Optometrist. She ignored the redness until it was too late to turn the problem around. The night of my surgery she was irritated my husband called her at 9:00pm because I was vomiting. The doctor who referred me to Tarbet was Alison Hughes who now knows how my surgery turned out. If she tells you Tarbet is wonderful beware because for some reason she is not giving you the entire picture. Hughes response to me was to say, I am sorry you were not happy with your experience. It sounded patronizing to me. The doctors I recommend are Dr. On and Dr. Leukitis.

    Overlake EyeCare, PS
On time scheduling and visit. Courteous staff. Saw a different doctor that who I thought I was going to see. The doctor told me to warm up the eyes.. after several weeks it turned into a chalazion. I didn't feel comfortable going to back to the same doctor for getting it operated upon and went to another eye surgeon.

These people will screw you! When I presented my Boeing insurance card at check-in, I was not told they do not accept Boeing's eye plan. Now I am stuck with a $245 bill! Only go here if you want to be f*cked over financially!

I couldn't be more satisfied.  Dr. Davis is absolutely first-rate; I felt right away that he was a professional in whom I could put my unqualified trust.  He was careful to explain what would happen and answer all my questions, for as long as it took, and both he and his assistants were meticulous in examining my eyes and preparing me for the surgical procedures.  During the operations, Dr. Davis explained every step, and once done, I was given clear instructions as to followup appointments and care of my eyes back home.  Both operations turned out fine.  I had no problems, and can now see incredibly well -- far better than I have for more years than I can count.  I am very glad I chose Dr. Davis and the Bellevue Eye Clinic. Highest recommendation!

Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute - Bellevue
It went well.  It is eye surgery so it is scary.  There is a slight assembly line feel to the way they get you ready.  For some of my eye exam appointments the office was so crowed it was hard to use the bathroom.  It was hard to get them to understand why I needed something other than their normal procedure.  They sent me back to my eye doctor and she explained it, so in the end I got just what I needed.  One huge plus for me was that they have a car and an excellent driver that drives you to and from your surgery and escorts you right up to your appointment.

2 years ago I went to them and they said I had a risk of glaucoma.  They saw this risk again and I did a follow up visit so they could do a special exam.  I show signs of glaucoma, but do not have it (yay) they were very professional and helpful for both visits.

Went in and the nurse explained the entire process gave some drops and asked if I had any questions. Shortly after a technician came in to conduct the two visual tests and he was pleasant and again explain what I would be doing. They were both very efficient and professional. One of the test results had a small glitch and he paused and asked if I wanted to take it over but explained I did not have to because he got the information they needed. When Dr. Davis came in he reviewed the test results with me and explained what he was looking for. He is always very pleasant and communicates very well. He dilated my eyes and took eye pressure and look at my eyes and said I was in good shape and that he would see me in  12 months. He stayed a few extra minutes to see if I had questions but I was glad with the results and left. The office is pleasant and they serve very good coffee. Parking can be tricky as it appears the building is always busy so you may have to drive around to find a SPACE.

I've been seeing Dr McManus for probably 20 years. They are just always good. I can usually get an appointment when I need one without having to wait too long. The staff has been there for as long as I've been going there and they are all great people. The office equipment is great. It has been updated several times since I've been going there. They keep it real up to date. They are very thorough and helpful. I've actually referred several people to them already. Their communication is very good. They are actually even open on Saturdays, not a full day on Saturday, but they are open.

He is very compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable. One of the best professionals I have ever visited. He takes the time to get to know his patients. The office is efficient with not much waiting. He really has the patients interest at heart and not just doing this for the money.

I scheduled an appointment but then the week before, the office called to tell me they had another opening if I could come in earlier. This was a pleasant surprise and I took the earlier appointment. I checked in and filled out the paperwork. I waited for maybe 2 minutes before I started the screening tests with Dr. McManus's assistant. Then I met Dr. McManus and we reviewed my needs and checked my prescription. My vision had not changed significantly. Dr. McManus gave me a copy of my prescription in case I wanted new eyeglasses but also let me know my current glasses were still in great shape. I will go back next year and hopefully have another easy appointment.
