Chimney Cap Repair reviews in Bellevue

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • I had ECC do a chimney tear down and rebuild. They did quality work and I am very pleased with the end result. The crew were on time, neat, and cleaned up well. From the front office to the construction crew, they were professional and courteous in every interaction I had. Highly recommend.

  • The crew came out within one week after we received our estimate. They were a bit behind schedule arrival time, but they stayed behind to finish the job. I would use them again. The crew were friendly.

  • He was terrific. Neat, tidy, A’s on everything, timely. Gave me an estimate. Actually, he came back a second time because he sold me a reasonably priced hood for my chimney and he was great. I would use him again in a heartbeat. I thought they were totally reasonable on price. I thought they were great. I would definitely use them again. Terrific, absolutely wonderful also. I didn’t have to pay anymore except for the chimney cap. I want to say the cap was like $60 or $50, very reasonable. In my old house I had gotten an estimate for it and it was a lot more expensive. One person came to complete the service. It took maybe 2-3 hours to complete the service. Very nice, neat and clean, quiet, made sure to discuss everything with me, just a really nice human being. Very professional, very professional. They left the area absolutely spotless. They clean the chimney. The chimney is in my living room. They didn’t break anything. They moved everything gently. They swept everything out. They cleaned the window. He told me how to keep the window clean and then he recommended putting the hood. There was something he saw on my chimney and I think he thought it would be good to put that collar on which seemed like a good idea. Great, handed me the card, showed me everything.

  • The chimney dated from 1958 and needed some work.  Nate explained everything that needed to be done and was not pushy at all.  He did great work and was very professional and courteous.  The cost was reasonable and he ended up needing to do some extra work but stood behind his bid.  I would definitely hire him again.

  • It worked out well. It was dirty and their inspection provided that information. It turned out great. They were really nice people. I'd give them an A+ for their workmanship. That was a good price that I got. The cap they put on looks like a good one. How they cleaned was good. They were there when they said they'd be there. They communicated.

  • Great. They were on time to come and give a bid. They were competitive. They were on time to do the work and completed the job faster than expected. Their crew was friendly and professional. They cleaned up everything when done.

  • My daughter recommended Jerrod Reynalds of Archstone Masonry. He had worked on the chimney at her place a year before. I signed up for his Angie's List offer of 16 hours of masonry work. I wrote him and asked him to evaluate the project. He called back immediately and came promptly. He then prepared a proposal which specified the above tasks with estimated labor hours for each.
Upon acceptance he was able to schedule a crew two days later. The crew was there at 8:00AM. Jerrod had thoughtfully called me around 7:30 to say he was stuck in I405 traffic, and would be a couple of minutes late. When he came (8:15?) it was clear he had thought through all the work, and had brought the right tools and the necessary materials.
His three-man crew immediately took the job from there. They were done in early afternoon. Jerrod knew I had an appointment in late morning so scheduled all the indoors work (replacing fire brick and acid washing) to be done while I was present. The men put out tarps which were effective to the point that there was minimal dust on nearby furniture, easily caught with a damp cloth. His lead man, Dave, was easy to talk with, careful (he ensured all brick cutting was done outside with the door closed), and seemed to have no waste motion, (no remeasuring). I had no contact with the others .
Jerrod's bill was as prompt and thorough as all the other parts of this process. I'd refer him and his company Archstone for any masonry work in the future. My daughter was right; it was a good referral. Overall, from time of contact to completion the job was done in three weeks.

  • The owner, Jesse, responded promptly to my inquiry. Scheduled the work for Monday the following week. His representative Ryan, was personable, careful, and thorough. Vacuumed the debris including the smoke shelf area.
Noted our masonry cap and its brick facing needed repairs. Reported that some portions of the chimney had glazed creosote
that resisted brushing. Prepared an estimate for treating the glaze with powder. There was no up-selliing, nor were there change orders/extra expenses. Completed the job in about an hour.

  • The work went very well from start to finish.  The owner was very prompt in setting up an appointment to inspect my chimneys and spent quality time with me outlining the options:  restoration of existing or total replacement.   Once we agreed on the work, he provided me with a written proposal on-line and we scheduled the appointment.   Work included the masonry chimney replacement, a mortar cap on each chimney, roof flashing, and cleanup.   A very capable crew was dispatched to our house and they finished the work in one day including thorough cleanup.  The foreman and the workers were very polite, professional and capable.  This was a professional job from start to finish.

  • We needed to put two chimney caps. We measured our chimney size first and get an estimate over the phone from Randall.
Randall gave us an estimate $179 for each cap and gave us 10% off for Angies list member discount. He came on the time and installed caps. He also gave us some advices to keep moss out from our chimney.
Randall seemed honest person and not trying to sell other things more than you really needed it.
I liked that kind of attitude.
I recommend him to other people.
