Plumber reviews in Williston

Please be very aware of what you are paying for with this company. They claim that they are emergency plumbers, so you will be paying an extreme amount of money for their "emergency service". They charge by the whole hour, so even a half hour will be charged a whole hour. I was unaware of this when I hired them, and when I got my labor bill, I was shocked to see that 1 1/2 hour cost me $700 in just labor alone! While it was for two people, this is simply outrageous! They also took all my copper pipes (and I had some large 3" ones) without asking me if I wanted to keep them, and by the time I realized it, they were gone.

We could not be happier.  Todd is a real pro.  Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable.  I'll keep this brief, as I completely concur with all the positive reviews on Angies list (which is why we chose Harringtons in the first place).
This is one of the coldest winters in some time and our new Baxi wall hung boiler is keeping our house very warm, providing endless supply of hotwater (tankless on-demand) and at a fraction of the cost of our old units.
The 700 rebate from VT GAS is nice to offset the cost.  The installation of the new unit/including redone plumbing is so neat and tidy, it's a tradesmen work of art.
Thank you Todd - we'll be in touch for our first service next year.

George is awesome.  Responds to call in an appropriate time frame, shows up on time, does excellent work, is courteous, and charges reasonably for his services.  I would use him in a heartbeat for my plumbing needs.

I wish more people were like Mark Judge of Tongue & Groove Carpentry. Mark is the most hard-working, thoughtful and talented contractor I have had the pleasure to work with. He treated my home the way he would his own, always making sure his work was thorough, to specifications and to my liking. I can count on Mark to do what he says he is going to do. He is a good communicator. He is mindful of a budget. He brings with him tremendous experience. He also brings a talented group of subcontractors (roofer, electrician, plumber, concrete finisher, carpet installer, etc.).
We essentially added half a house to our house, so it was a major project that lasted most of the summer. We gutted and expanded our kitchen, took down a bearing wall and replaced it with a beam that dramatically opened up our main living area. We also added a covered deck, covered patio, bathroom and guest bedroom. Like I said, it was a major project. Mark had a lot to juggle: me, the work, my budget, subcontractors. He was focused throughout, always keeping the momentum up. As a result, the project was completed a little ahead of schedule. Most importantly, our family LOVES the new space. We couldn't have dreamed up a better space. It's perfect. We owe it all to Mark, who took our ideas and turned them into reality.
I would recommend Mark without hesitation for anyone considering hiring him for a project, big or small. Mark is excellent at what he does. Please feel free to call me at 238-0392 to talk about Tongue & Groove Carpentry in more detail.

Rene and I met face to face twice. First time when he visited our house to evaluate the job and second time to perform the job after hiring him to do the work. Both times he was right on schedule at expected time. He returns phone calls promptly as well. He is most professional in all aspects of his craft. I would hire him again no question. As with all his new customers Rene brought a fresh baked pie and pastry to our home the morning of scheduled work. He is very personable extremely well mannered and consummate professional.Your in need of a plumber then Rene is your man.

Brendan tried very hard to fix our existing faucet because we were trying to save money. He always returned phone calls, was on time, and worked around our schedules. He made multiple trips to try and help us out. He made phone calls re: warranty parts on our behalf. Finally, when it just became too much hassle to try and deal with a substandard product for repair, he installed the new faucet that we purchased. He was friendly, kind, and professional and gave us a very fair price.

He and his helper were very prompt, courteous and respectful, and took time to answer our questions and show us how the boiler worked. The work was done well, on time, and they tidied up nicely. We LOVE our new boiler - our monthly fuel bills are much lower, the boiler is much quieter, and we have all the hot water we need when we need it! We've worked with several heating professionals over the years, and highly recommend Todd!

George Corrow is the plumber. He was very reasonable and very efficient. He came when he was supposed to come and did the job in the amount of time that he gave us the estimate. He was wonderful. I got his name originally from Angie’s List. He has got a lot of wonderful recommendations on there from other people he has worked with.

George is a very professional plumber and he did things efficiently and responsibly.  He also notes items he sees 'wrong' or potential issues in the future that could save you a bunch of headaches if you consider fixing them.  I felt his pricing policy was fair and he did not 'milk' the clock.

Prompt appointment appreciated. Arrived 50 minutes late without phone call. Serviceman was polite and evaluated situation; unfortunately did not determine problem, which was from a drain pipe from a backwash water softener which was flooding basement intermittently when cycling. Was told it could not be from overhead drains and that possible source was ground water, despite the fact that it had not rained for weeks and was intermittent. Suggested I seal foundation and see what happens. I determined the source of the problem myself that same night and repaired it on my own. The plumber did fix a leaky bathroom shutoff valve so visit wasn't a total waste.
