  • I have been going there now for about four years. I had good dealings with them. The quality and the pricing are good. I stopped for new tires, and they are probably cheaper than some of the wholesale clubs around.

  • They're a no nonsense repair business that gets the job done with the least possible cost. I've purchased 3 used vehicles from them over the years and they've stood behind them, above and beyond what I expected. I think the owners and open and honest. Nothing fancy, but you'll be treated fairly.

  • These guys are to say the least, my car saviors. If it hadn't been for them I would have scraped my car and spend a about $10,000 on a new one. Lee and his team took the time to find the source of mt problems and ended up finding a very obscure but easy to fix problem. Any other mechanic would have thrown the towel in but he worked to find the least expensive solution to my problem. I have gone to Lee with all my car troubles since I first got my junior drives license and I will keep going till I am old and grey!

  • I requested a quote via email from DK Airport Service for round trip transportation from White River Junction, VT to Logan Airport. David replied via email (and later confirmed on the phone) that the student round trip rate was $170. However, upon dropping us off on 8/9/10 demanded that the fee was now $179 each way. I produced the email confirming his quote and he said he was just going to charge my credit card double the fee no matter what. In total, I was charged $249 when I had been told that it would be only $170.

  • I was not able to pay them all at once and they were very accommodating despite that being something they normally do. They were pretty helpful, however I do think they are a little bit more expensive than other places. they do good work, I know that.

  • Bob's did nothing, While we could understand that some of the delay was caused by the July 4 holiday, they had one mechanic who continually fed us excuses for getting nothng done the entire following week. We called them every day starting on the Turesday after the holiday and everyday it was another excuse -- "oh, we just didn't get to it, today," "Oh, we were shorthanded." Keep in mind that all we were asking them to do was to plug the car into their computer sand get a diagnosis so we could decide what to do, but apparently this was too much for them. When, on Friday of the following week (Bob's had now had the car for eight days), we opted to have the car towed (at our cost) to a mechanic closer to home, they had the gall to tell AAA that they wouldn't release the car without us paying a "storage charge" The only way we could avoid payint thisd little piece of extortion was to give them the towing job and the accompanying a $250 fee. Its worth noting that AAA was 100% useless throughout this process. As usual, they give out their seal of approval nd then refuse to do saything to stand brhind the seal. So, as far as our experience went, we felt we were dealuig with incompetents, liars and crooks. The trifecta. I would never, under any circumstances, deal with these guys again,

  • I found an oil spot under my new truck after a week of owning it. I called Miller to schedule a repair and they couldn't schedule it for a week. I asked what I was supposed to do about the seal leaking and they said drive it and if it makes any noise bring it in. I said HUHHHH???? are you serious and they said yes. I brought the truck over for them to look at and they said go ahead and drive it. The day came for repairs and I brought the truck in and said that the sales person told me I would get a loaner while they worked on the truck and the service writer said they didn't do that. He also said that if the reason the truck was broken was my fault I would be charged. I said the car doesn't even have 1400 miles on it and it never has been off asphault and only driven by me. How could it be my fault? He just looked at me like I was an idiot and said it may be your fault and if it is you will pay for it. I came unglued and asked for a manager after arguing 10 minutes with the service writer. The service manager came and I had to explain it all again (probably not so nicely this time). The service manager turned into jelly and gave me a rental car and didn't even have me sign for it. I came back at 4:30 to pick up the truck. Figuring 8 hours would be enough and they said it wasn't done and they needed to order a seal for it. OK I brought the truck in once before to show them where it was leaking and the didn't order parts? WTH!?!?!?!? I still had their rental car so I left. They called me 2 days later and left a message on my answering machine saying the truck was done. I kept the rental for 3 more days and picked my truck up on a Friday at 4:45 knowing they would want to get out of there. I sold the truck because of this "experience". Don't buy a vehicle from these guys you will regret it.

  • I had a previously diagnosed problem with on of my rear wheel bearings. My mechanic could not see to the problem before we moved to WRJ from out of state. I called Northern Motorsports and several others for an estimate. Northern Motorsports' estimate was very detailed, listing the cost of every part and estimated labor. The parts needed were in stock, and the work was completed within hours of receiving the estimate. The final cost was below that of the estimate, and quite a bit cheaper than the same work done on a similar car at a different location several months ago. (One bearing was replaced at the dealership and the other at a local shop in CT) The work was preformed yesterday. The noise associated with the bad bearing is gone, and I can only assume that it was done correctly. The staff appears to be friendly, professional, knowledgeable and prompt. I intend on using this company for future repairs. UPDATE: I have continued to use Northern Motorsport and have been very pleased with the large amount of work done on my aging cars. They are honest and their repairs have been better than similar work done at the dealership for a better price. On the other hand, they do charge more than other shady mechanics I know, but the premium is worth it. They do not cut corners and stand by their work.

  • Awful. $85 an hour? It's rare to see a mechanic priced so high. They probably have a lot of overhead from their inept service managers. They also told me that my engine issue was due to poor maintenance on my part and tried to get me to sign on to one of their ridiculously priced maintenance service plans. Ridiculously bad service.
