    Central Vermont Eye Care
Exceptionally well. He has been my best eye doctor in 70 plus years. Explains issues in detail. The staff is excellent and thorough. The testing equipment and electronic in office communication and records are state of the art

    Richard, Dr. Del Bianco
Dr. Del Bianco is extremely thorough. He asked me a lot of questions, including my diet and health (both my parents are diabetic). I wear contacts because I prefer them, but I dont swap them often enough nor wear glasses because I couldn't really afford glasses AND contacts, and contacts were very expensive. After my exam, he was able to test some contacts with me that were cheaper than what I was using but would be better for me. He also gave me a good deal on the contacts so I could get both the glasses and contacts. He was very concerned about my eye health, and it was obvious because he followed up with me to see how the new contacts were going! The glasses I purchased there were easy to get and easy to fit. The ladies there are incredible. I got a great deal, the bill and insurance was explained to me EXTREMELY thoroughly so I knew exactly what insurance would pay for or how much of it they would, and I could pick and choose from there. My glasses did take a week to come in, which was disappointing, but everything else made it a great experience!!

Went as expected; same great service as I have received for past years. Newest technology and finest eye care in the area.

    Lawlor, Dr. David P.
I've been a patient seeing both Dr. Lawlor and his partner, Dr. Saparoff, for 2 years now.  The only "bad" thing I can say is that parking is sometimes difficult because they share a building with a dental group.

Dr. Keshava diagnosed cataracts last year and removed them in January and February of this year. The procedures went as I expected and my vision is better than I had anticipated. He had diagnosed glaucoma a few years ago and has been treating that ever since. He is very thorough and explains everything that is happening, will happen and possible outcomes. He always has time to answer questions. His practice is busy, but I usually don't have to wait more than 5 to 10 minutes, if at all. The office is immaculate, the doctor and staff are immaculate as well. Billing has always been accurate. The optometrist shop in the practice changed my glasses lenses and was very accommodating and pleasant. Appointments at this office are always positive. I have nothing but positive experiences here. Would recommend to anyone who is particular about eye care.

I learned some good things about eye health, but the place felt like industrial medicine, not very people-friendly

    Richard, Dr. Del Bianco
Regular check up. It went well. Dr. Del Bianco was thorough but now very personable. The staff was very nice but felt pressure to pick the glasses the women felt was appropriate for me rather than being free to pick on my own. I ended up getting my prescription and taking it elsewhere to find glasses.

naled for me to wait until she was doneThey called & changed my appointment which I wrote on our calendar while on the phone w/ Candice. When I arrived I was snubbed & told I was 4 hours late, I was 1/2 hour early I said, they had the wrong time on their appointment book. She said "we will have to squeeze you in somehow". So, my wife and I sat there, for 4 hours. Watching multiple people going up to the desk asking how much longer for their appointment, saying they had been there from 2-3 hours waiting also. Signs everywhere telling people to be patient, this takes a long time. We also watched people FINALLY go in, only to come back out in 10 minutes with looks of dissatisfaction. This is clearly a lack of being able to properly schedule patients in a timely manner, an opinion I vocalized to my wife whilst waiting. I guess Dr. David Weissgold heard me or his staff told him as when I went in he was standing in the hall with a pure look of anger arms tightly crossed I said Hello and he said nothing back just glared at me. During the (5 minute exam) he typed a few things on his keyboard, striking the keys hard enough (1 index finger at a time) that the keyboard was jumping up & down. He was clearly angry, dominating, and his body language scared my wife. Then I was told that there was nothing he could do for me, but make a follow up appointment to see if things have changed in 4 weeks. I walked out of the office, looked back & there he was again with his arms crossed glaring at me. This "Dr" plainly is a dominating figure of 6' 225lbs and a scary glare, he does not seem to be able to take constructive critique of his practice, though I did not intend for him to hear my earlier remarks. If you like to be belittled, wait for hours to be seen, then this is the place for you.

    Boush, Dr.Andrew G.
Was suffering from an annoying chalazion of the eyelid, something many of my family members have had issues with. This was the second time I experienced the situation. I was referred by my primary care physician and showed up after taking time off from work expecting to have the chalazion removed. Dr. Boush came in late, after I had had my eye exam looked at my eye for 2-3 minutes and announced that he would do the procedure and suggested I schedule a time. This was after waiting two months to get an appointment. I knew it was a chalazion, and my primary care doctor knew it was a chalazion based on my previous experience. This check-up was a complete waste of time. He apologized and asked that I go make an appointment. The receptionist wanted to make an appointment for another month out and I was furious. Finally I made an appointment two weeks later. I arrived he did the procedure(he was 20 minutes late) and I still had a lump in my eye. A few years prior I had the procedure done, it was slightly painful, but worked perfectly. This procedure DID NOT relieve the lump in my eye. I went back after explaining to the nurse that nothing had changed. Upon inspection Dr. Boush explained that there were some 'fibres' left inside the lid and suggested I let it go for 6 months or so and stop back for plastic surgery if it had not corrected itself. I am more than disappointed with my whole experience. I am not confident with this doctor's flippant response to simply come back for some plastic work and certainly not confident with his procedure on my eye. Needless to say I will not go back to him.
