Want it bad? Get it bad! Let me first say that Amber did a good job of dealing with me and my frustration. She was very professional and seemingly sympathetic to my situation. I would not want her job. Do I think 802 Toyota could have done better? Yes. My truck is a 2004 Toyota Tundra with 218,000 miles. I do expect its going to have some problems once in a while. I was in Vermont to pick up a U-Haul trailer and take back to Virginia. The top of my radiator blew right off! I had it towed to nearest Toyota dealership. I called to tell them I was having my car towed there. Lucky I called when I did, they were closing in 10 minutes. I explained that I was broke down and that I needed to get back to Virginia ASAP! Amber explained that they were very busy and that she wouldn't be able to even look at my car until late Monday or Tuesday. Closing at 2:00pm on a Saturday? And only open until 5:00 during the week. If they are that busy, I would think that it should be open longer. (Only 2 Stars for service department hours) Amber explained the $90+ per hour fee for diagnosing the problem. I told her that would not be necessary because as soon as they opened the hood it would be obvious that I needed a radiator! I'm not sure if she could have ordered a radiator on a Saturday at 2:00 but that would have been a big help to getting me on the road sooner. (Only 2 stars for not ordering a new radiator until late Monday). Monday morning I was expecting a call first thing to at least hear if they would be able to get my truck looked at or not. A 10:00 am, I finally called them. I got voicemail but Amber did call me back an hour later. Again I explained that I was from Virginia and really needed to get back. I also explained that if it was not going to be ready soon that I would get home another way and come back to VT to get my truck after it was repaired. At nearly 5:00 PM, I finally got a call saying I needed a radiator and that she would have to order one. (Only 2 stars for communication and not ordering a radiator earlier) Tuesday when I had not heard from amber by 1:30 pm I decided to get a ride and just go there. At 2:00pm, Amber explained that they were just now going to pick up the new radiator. I was very frustrated at this point and not very hopeful that my truck would be ready. Again I explained that had I known it was not going to be ready I would have gone back to VA and come back to get my truck at a later date. I stayed in the area hoping to hear from Amber if my truck would be ready or not. Either way, I had to leave for VA Wednesday morning. 30 minutes prior to closing I still had not heard from Amber so I went back to the dealership and sat outside. 5 minutes prior to closing I walked in. She saw me waiting in line and said that she thought we were good. My radiator had been replaced and there were no indications of any other problems. Ok, that's good, but why did it overheat and explode to begin with? Amber explained that I should drive it back to Randolph where I was staying and if I had any problems I should bring it back in the morning. When she brought my truck out I said I wanted to see what a new radiator looked like. She said she wanted to see too. If you have never seen what a mess an exploded radiator makes, I could show you. Most of it is still on my truck and inside the engine compartment. Really? (Only 2 stars for returning my truck in such a mess) As I'm driving my truck away I notice that the heat is on but there is no heat coming out of the vents. Really? There are no indications of any other problems? I'm not going to need heat for a while so no big deal right? My truck did not overheat again for nearly 300 miles. Worse possible place ever! Yep, George Washington Bridge in NYC! Seems as if the thermostat would have been a no brainer to at least look at or replace while you're waiting for the radiator. (2 stars for not really fixing my truck and sending me to VA in a ticking time bomb) Want it bad? Get it bad!

It?s very rare to find a mechanic who really has the best interest at heart.  There is a lot of maintenance work with my civic and my car has a 6000 miles on it and it runs like a watch.  It was really good.  I have a discount membership because I use them all the time.  There?s a certain percentage of the bill which they don?t charge me.  It?s a membership thing and I think you pay $80 a year then you get a discount for all your works that year.

However they are pricey but it?s worth it.  If you really want not to have anxieties about your car, then that?s the place you have to go.  I?m willing to pay extra for that.

I drive there, because my parents live there. They are honest, and reliable. I use the synthetic oil, which is more expensive. I drop my car off overnight, and my parents pick me up. They always fit me in whenever I am in the area, so they are very accommodating. I have used them for a year. I used to drive to the dealer because it was under warranty, but once the warranty expired, it was easier to use them when I go to see my parents.

I'm not sure if that was the exact date, I would have to check my bank records. My car broke down in Middlesex so I was able to get it to the park and ride. There was also a huge snowstorm that day. My grandfather came and picked my son and I up. We called Bob's to tow the car. They said that there were several accidents so it may take a little while and to make sure the car was shoveled out. We said, "No problem". My grandfather and I went back to the park and ride and shoveled all around the car. At that point it had been almost 2 hours so we thought they would be there soon. Several hours later, the tow truck arrived at my grandparents' house. We went out to greet the driver and this guy was enraged! He yelled at my 75 year old grandfather and said, " I told you to shovel out the car!" My grandfather said, "We did! It's not our fault it took you so long to get there". The guy continued to yell at my grandfather and at this point I called the manager at Bob's Sunoco and told them how their driver was behaving and then I went and stood next to my grandpa- whom I forgot is a retired Green Beret and still a total badass. My grandfather handled the situation and told the guy to settle down(which he did) and then the driver left..still enraged but much quieter. I am so glad I can tell that story now and maybe people will reconsider before calling this company. My whole family knows not to!!

George is great. He's the best auto mechanic I've ever had. He can tell what's wrong with your car and quot;be earand quot; so you don't waste a lot of money having someone who relies on reference materials wasting a lot of time diagnosing the problem. You can drive in with a funny noise and he can tell you immediately what is wrong and how much it will cost to fix it.
    He's great.

We bought our Ford Escape from Walker Ford in 2006. Then Formula Ford bought them out. Ever since then all service work on the Escape was ok and the service folks are quite nice. BUT when we brought in the Escape in 2011 with some severe rust in the rear wheelwells (mind you this is only 5 years after we bought it) FF said they would replace them for some seven thousand $ - no discount for the product having been defective. I have a 2003 VW that is still wonderfully in tact and has travelled on the same roads for three years more! After some internet searching we found many, many folks who have had the same experience - especially with the Hybrid as the batteries supposedly off-gas corrosive fumes. Their stories were similar around their experiences with their Ford Dealers. Eventually we located an independent garage that did the work for under a thousand $. |Shame on Formula Ford for not trying to help us. Shame on Ford Company for probably making it impossible for them to do so. We will NEVER buy another Ford product! |And never take out Escape there again.

It all went well until I go the car on the highway. The tires were definitely out of balance. I took the car to a different shop (next generation automotive) and they re-balanced the tires. They said the tires were VERY out of balance. They were right, after next gen balanced the tires the car was silky smooth at speed, no shaking or vibration at all. Vianor tire is a bunch of hacks. I will not go there again.

I do most of my automotive repair myself, but when I do bring my vehicle to the shop I use Rob at Next gen. He does the work right the first time, and he cares about the work his does. He also inspected my vehicle for free.

George's Auto Service is great! My household has had maintenance work on our cars done there, as well as evaluations and repairs. George is always friendly, honest and reliable. I have never left his shop with more work needed and it is always fixed the first time!

Excellent service. Aside from the inspection, I have brought my car there for repairs and have had used cars that I would potentially be buying checked out there. Brian and his co-workers do excellent work. They are honest and the prices reasonable. I highly recommend Morse Auto and Sales.
