    If ethics and integrity are any indication of work quality - run! He came; assesses; took a water sample; called a week later to say he had 'just found' the sample and was sending it in. A week later he called to say he would be at my home that following Monday and would call Sunday eve to determine a time. Never called; never came. Sent him an e-mail, never responded. Never heard from him again. Left me in the lurch for three weeks. Found someone else who did the job; no muss, no fuss. I figure I was lucky he never called back.

    Todd told us he didn't think the boiler needed replacing, that it could be fixed. He gave us the name of someone else, who also called us immediately and came over the next day.  Todd was upbeat, professional, helpful, prompt, and RIGHT! The boiler did not need to be replaced. If we ever switch to gas, Todd will be who we call.

    We called LaPlante Plumbing and Heating for an emergency repair to our boiler (no heat or hot water). It was out first time calling them. Fortunately, they were in the area on another job and were able to fit us in on short notice. We had multiple issues, but they were able to get us up and running fairly quickly before addressing the causes of the problems. They did a thorough cleaning of the boiler (very dirty), replaced two broken/leaking sensors and a clogged filler/back-flow valve, flushed our entire system (I saw what came out, so this really was necessary) and added clean water with a corrosion inhibitor. Since we had the entire system down anyway, we decided to have them install a new indirect hot water heater (the old one was leaking, but not badly) and disposed of the old one. They did not pressure us to do this extra work, just offered. The total cost was $3500.00 for 1 ½ full days of work. They kept us apprised of progress, showed us all their findings so we would know what had gone wrong, and left the area clean and neat. They were polite, friendly, professional, and efficient.  We were pleased with the timeliness of the response and the quality of the work. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

    Bo arrived early which was much appreciated.  He had all the equipment he needed.  He worked professionally, explained everything and answered questions as he worked.  He cleared the problem and continued further to make sure the entire system was clear and operating.  Bo was excellent. I have circulated his information to the neighbors and he is now our primary plumber.  Outstanding response during a holiday weekend, cost was reasonable and Bo was a professional.

    The install only took a day, and the piping looks nice and clean.  When they were finished they took the time to explain everything to me and they cleaned up after themselves well.  There was a small hiccup that resulted in no hot water for a couple of hours a little later on in the night, but their on-call-help was able to walk me through the settings to get it back up and running.
    I ended up going with them mostly because I prefer the boiler manufacturer they use compared to other HVAC companies in the area, so much so that I was willing to pay a little more for it (even though their price was right in the same ballpark as the two other quotes I got).
    I had heard nothing but good things about them and they did nothing to change my perception.

    They do a good job. The only complaint is they are not nice people to talk with, Not customer service friendly at all!!! And god forbid you have a problem after regular business hours, then you are really going to see how unfriendly they are and bad customer service they have, even though they advertise 24/7 service.

    Kevin and his team did an outstanding job. Bathroom was quickly gutted and work was done to a high standard. They were vey helpful with suggestions to help keep in our budget. Great guys, very honest. We highly recommend them!

    WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE INITIAL INSTALLATION OF THE UNITS. THE COST AND TIMELINE OF THE WORK WAS ACCURATE; THE WORKMEN WERE RESPECTFUL OF OUR HOME, DID A VERY NICE JOB INSTALLING THE PRODUCT AND CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY.  
    HOWEVER WHEN THE UNITS STOPPED WORKING, (THEY NO LONGER  PRODUCED HEAT AS THEY WERE ADVERTISED TO DO), PHONE CALLS TO MR STEBBINS WENT UNANSWERED.  WHEN WE PERSEVERED, HE FINALLY TOOK OUR CALL AND TOLD US THAT THE UNITS WOULD NOT PRODUCE HEAT IN LOW OUTDOOR TEMPERATURES, AND THAT WE HAD DAMAGED THE UNITS BY TRYING TO DO THAT.  HE STATED THAT THE FIX WOULD TAKE MANY HOURS OF RECALIBRATION AND THAT HE WOULD GET TO IT WHEN HE RETURNED FROM HIS VACATION. WE CALLED HIM AGAIN WHEN HE RETURNED, AND AGAIN HE DIDN'T RESPOND.  IN THE MEANTIME, WE WENT DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER OF THE UNITS WHO STATED THAT THE INFORMATION MR STEBBINS PROVIDED WAS WRONG; HE IMPROPERLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND MADE NO EFFORT TO STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT HE SOLD US.
    THIS WAS TOO BIG A PURCHASE TO BE ANYTHING LESS THAN 100% SATISFIED.  WE HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER PLUMBING AND HEATING COMPANY TO FIX THE PROBLEM, WHICH WILL BE COVERED BY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY.

    My pump alarm went off at 6:30 AM. I called Pand P at 7:30 AM and they were here by 9 AM (happened to be in the area anyway). The technician very neatly removed both the septic tank and pump station covers. He identified that the pump was not functioning, so he called in for a second group to address this. Meanwhile, he pumped out both the septic and pump station and said that they seemed to be in good condition, except for the pump. He replaced the septic tank cover, including carefully replacing the sod so it looked undisturbed. Within 90 minutes, the office called to say the second team was on their way. They arrived, very quickly diagnosed a short circuit in the pump wire and corrected the problem. They said that the pump was working fine now, although they could not really test it until the tank filled again, which would take several weeks. The second team was actually from a another company that specializes in pump repairs, but clearly they do a lot of work with Pand P, and Pand P took care of all the arrangements and billing. Both groups were prompt, professional, friendly, and very neat. The price seemed a little high, but worth it to have it fixed so quickly. The entire situation was resolved by noon on the same day.

    It doesn't get any better than this! RB Plumbing is THE BEST! Friendly, as nice as can be, courteous, just start to sum up RB Plumbing. They do it right the first time. They are careful to not get any dirt or water anywhere in your house. They clean up after themselves. And they do the job so well - flawless. Price is great, too. I will always call RB Plumbing from now on. I just wished I'd discovered them 10 years ago :).
