  • They were really nice and I liked them. I had a good experience with them. They were really honest. But the repair cost so much that I just bout a new one. They charged me to do the diagnostic, but if they would have fixed it they would have taken the cost off. They were great. This was right after a tornado came through and everyone was busy, but they still managed to come out.

  • It was great. David is very responsive and was on the job site everyday overseeing the project. They painters were also carpenters and were able to take care of any rotten wood. He is the most polite person ever. He is very customer service oriented. He did a great job and kept us up to date on everything that went on. Very easy to reach and communicate with.

    We were consulted about options during the course of the work before any permanent changes were introduced.
    For the amount paid the work done is very good and the contractors were very easy to work with and minimally intrusive even though they had to work in one of the most intimate areas of our home.

  • American Home Shield is the warranty company and I called them to check the heating system. They then called contractors they work with and send them out. The service call fee is 100 to me and they cover the rest. The main issue in my area of Vermont is they dont have a good network of contractors. So typically they won't respond for 2-3 days until after the call. Then they provided me with instructions to use my own contractor. I then have to call around and hire a contractor, who then has to call AHS first and get it approved. So the process is very time consuming and the hold times to call in are very long, up to an hour sometimes and never shorter than 20 min. They got it fixed in the end but the turnaround time is very slow.

  • Though Gail and Dale were the listing agents for the home I was interested in purchasing, they were extremely helpful and responsive to me as the buyer. Gail answered questions by email promptly, sat through a very long home inspection, and even drove me home when my car was in the shop...what service! Though I didn't end up purchasing the house, it was not in any way a reflection of Gail and Dale's professionalism. I have worked with Dale before in showing me property and he was respectful and engaging. When I have asked others who they recommend as a real estate agent, they often will tell me to call Dale! The Bromley's seem to be from the "old school" where manners and ethics were held to a high standard - and I greatly appreciate that in the era of pushy, aggressive, and sometimes unscrupulous realtors - some of which I have personally had the extreme displeasure to have worked with in Vermont.

  • This was my daughte who is a student in college and could not afford much. They gave her a really hard time cause they did not want to deliver unless she was going to fill her tank..Financially she was not able to do that. So they charged her $1.40 per gallon more than they charged me and an extra fee for not filling her tank...When she can afford it she will be getting a new company. They were very rude to her on the phone as well.

  • This job required a qoutation and interaction with the adjuster. Matt was extremely flexible with these demends and was very prompt with all the requirmements. The work was done very timely and efficiently. I would recommend Harris Plumbing for any heating or plumbing work.

  • showed up exactly when he said he would. friendly and professional. got right to work, answered all my questions on

     where I went wrong and how to correct it. only took about 1/2 hour to hang the door and frame. most carpenters that I talk to it was to small a job for them to bother with. I'm putting his number on my wall and I will use him from now on for any carpenter work I need.

  • We called in Lewis Appliance to hook up water and icemaker in a previously owned fridge. The technician arrived within a couple of days of the initial call, was clean, friendly and efficient. When he found that there was a problem with the dispenser switch he took the time, but did not bill us for it, to diagnose the fault and order a replacement part.
