Excellent work by very professional and dedicated contractor Armand Morel. Easy to talk to and very helpful with ideas and suggestions that worked out beautifully. I am asking him to come back in the spring to add a new building to the property

I can not in any good faith recommend this contractor. Aside from not running anywhere near schedule on a project that was suppose to take a couple weeks turned in to when he showed up over several months. He botched the job. I have contacted several other contractors since and all the say the same thing, everything he did would have to be demolished and start from scratch. He had 3 projects one, landscaping which not only does it have high and low points IOW not leveled/plained evenly the grass never grew. He used half a bag of some stuff he had in his garage supposedly. I couldn't tell you the brand because it was not labeled. two, stairs from the deck with an 8 foot drop, well he never actually built any just left it open. three, the big part that has to be torn up now. A concrete patio 22'x12'. He sent one guy (his son) to do the whole job. His son stated he had never done anything of that size before. Not only did he pitch it towards the house! But it as well had pooling low points and the finish was not broomed buy looked like aged gravel exposure. The far corner has what I refer to as a wing because it lifts up higher than anywhere else. He used fiber mesh and no re-bar. Which later i learned from two concrete guys (private and SD Ireland) that you don't use that for patios as you will have fiber hairs sticking out and its meant to be used in conjunction with re bar. The application is actually intended for marine use. Also doing a brush finish is impossible due to the fibers. More so on a slab this size they never even add relief joints. **** during the project they ran out of concrete so it started to setup while they ordered more because they calculated the square footage incorrectly. So now a year later and I still have a mess that I have been quoted between $5,500 and $6000 to tear up and re-pour. Which doesn't fix the landscaping or add stairs. I should mention I used Porch.com who was advertised at Lowe's. I sent the request and he contacted me then it went to us talking. But since it was never anything more than the official request through them their 100% guarantee does not apply, the most they will do is annotate on his account the discrepancy and asked me to submit a review for it. So be aware of their terms if you use them to find someone and keep it to the site no matter how much contractor wants to step outside. Extra note, Greg West despite numerous times asking never provided any invoice or receipt in writing. Overall horrible experience and Greg West left me a mess to clean up and deal with on my property. I should be fair and note that I only ended up paying for the dirt, I did not pay for the rest and he did not fight me on it (that's how bad it is) he offered to rip out his messed up slab but that was going to cost. To me this is "insult to injury", why do I have to pay to undue his mistake. He has since just vanished. So I paid $2000 to him for dirt, and now it will cost me $5500 to fix it plus whatever a landscaper will charge to do the lawn correctly. Just as a thing he verbally quoted $4500 to start. So this $4500 project is now going to cost me $7500 plus, and a year now of headache. Please look at my pics: Look at the finish (that's what happens when you use fiber mesh, no re-bar and have your son who has no experience do it alone) Look how the water pitches towards the house Look how their are significant puddles.

Originally sealed in the fall, had issues In the spring with the sealant chipping off. Called and told them the problem, it was diagnosed and recoated within a few weeks. Good to see a company stand by their workmanship. Very reasonable cost and great customer service too!

    The entire experience was flawless.

They provided me an estimated cost for the driveway, gave me an approximate date to to the work, and then called me a couple of days before to confirm scheduling.

They arrive on time with a full crew to do the work, and completed it within a few hours.

Recommended by a friend. Second call to our home. The first was to install a bar to correct bent garage door. This time to repair a broken gear kit. Working like new and don't have to spring for a new unit and create unnecessary garbage. Thank you Limoge & Sons!

We were having new granite Kitchen counter tops installed, and we hired Forest City Builders to remove, and re-install our counter top so the granite fabricator can template our kitchen.  FC Builders were highly recommended by Burlington Marble & Granite.
Ross Brown, our general contractor, also had one of our corner kitchen cabinets re-worked to remove an old appliance garage so we can see our new granite counter top.  Ross then removed the old counter top the second time when our granite counter top was ready, installed the new sink, new faucet, new waste disposal, and new under mount lighting.
All work was very professionally done, but what was most striking to us, was the one thing that did not go right.  Our dishwasher was no longer emptying the water the next day.  This was the first time we used the dish washer after the work was completed.
We called Ross, and said he would be right over.  It turns out that they forgot to knock out a plug in the new waste disposal, so the waste water from the dish washer could not drain.  He dis not charge us for the extra call, and said that Forest City Builders stands behind all the work that they do.   This impressed me, and would recommend him to a friend.

They would get an A on everything.  They came on a very timely manner.  They are very reasonable.  They have quality work.  They just came when they said they were going to.  They did a very good job.

I first called and had an estimate from Shawn at Champlain Valley Sealcoating and it was very reasonable, so I scheduled. The cost wasn't much more then if I bought the materials to do the job myself.

I was impressed with the effort they made to prep the driveway before putting the sealant down. They edged, brushed, cleaned and filled the cracks with rubber for a clean solid look.

Driveway looked great during the 4 months we had without snow.  When the snow melted, the sealant had chipped off on almost half of my driveway.  I called Black Beauty to tell them the bad news and was told it was due to the ice during the Vermont winter.  I was quoted $200 (75% of the original price) to reseal the half of my driveway that had chipped up.  Very dissapointed in the quality of work and the lack of ownership for their product failing.

    1.    We had existing drains that were not functioning and flooding the newly remodeled basement of our business offices.  To fix the problem, it required Will McNulty to
    2. 1.cut & remove the pavement,
    3. 2.digup and replace a clogged/broken drainage tile.  He then had to
    4. 3.rebuild the drain itself and
    5. 4.add new drain tile,
    6. 5.replace the concrete and pavement
    7. 6.  re-seed grass
    8. 7. took all the debris to the dump

Throughout the service, Will was professional, polite and finished the project in a timely (and even earlier) manner.  He was fair with his quote and in most cases, came in as the lowest bid.
We have used McNulty Excavating in the past, both professionally and personally and will continue to use him because of his honesty and professionalism.  He has become our Go-to guy over other excavating companies.
Personally, he has installed a paver patio at our home, removed snow and helped with our home landscaping.
Professionally, I have hired him to do drainage work, snow plowing, grading parking lots and driveways, installation of drainage system and re-scaping dirt around the problem areas of our building.
