  • Pleasure to work with them, very good quality work. Explained exactly what they were doing, and gave me the option of replacing the transition vent and clamps. More expensive than the association recommended, but worth the extra cost.

  • Isela and her assistant were great. Very friendly and efficient. Mopped hardwood floors, cleaned bathrooms, windows, Kitchen, and even the basement . Also gave us a few very useful cleaning tips. We will hire her again. Thanks Isela!

  • We forgot about the first appointment but Darrin was able to reschedule. He did not charge us for the missed appointment and did a good job cleaning our chair. He was pleasant and efficient. We will call him again when we need the service that he provides.

  • NOTE: I did not hire The Maids through Angie's List. I searched for and found them independently. Lesson Learned!!

    They didn't confirm that they would be there beforehand as indicated, but 4 people did arrive on time. It's a small condo, and the request was for a deep clean and wall wash prior to painting. One bedroom was not to be cleaned, so only 1 of the 2 was included. They were there almost 4 hours, the walls were NOT washed, even when they were asked to not dust the bookshelves and wash the walls, please. The half-bath floor was not cleaned, nor was the kitchen floor and they were obviously filthy (we have photos of after). The director was not available to take calls that day (the check WAS immediately processed though!) and would not discuss the issue with my husband when he did reach her. That seems to be a clever way to avoid the 24 hour satisfaction guarantee! He left a message with the corporate office.

    The corporate office was responsive, although they also did not communicate as promised (we had to call them to continue pursuing the issue). The Burlington office provided us with another 1.5 hours of time to provide a finish to the deep clean. The walls were never washed.

    DO NOT hire them; very unprofessional, a poor job done and overpriced for the work you do get.

  • Richard, the Boiler Man, helped us out in so many ways. We found him here on Angie's list after reading reviews. He was very easy to get a hold of by phone. After a thorough inspection of our dryer vent he was able to locate issues that need attention and fix the problems after years of neglect.  While he was here we had him look at our boiler since we knew it was long overdue for service.  He did a thorough safety check, brought up problems that had been bothering us for years.  He offered timely solutions with estimates on each item along the way.  We found him to be professional, knowledgeable, respectful and kind.  He was able to explain concerns in a way that was easy for us to understand.  And the best part is we have a clear plan going forward with suggestions on how to properly maintain our systems.   And a bonus, he sent a full email going over the details of the work and suggestions for the future.  That was a very nice touch and will make it easy to remember it all going forward.  We plan to hire him again and would highly recommend his services.

  • Arrived promptly at said time and date. Spoke w owner on the phone. I didn't ask the right questions re the service (my fault) for ex:
    Do you clean window sills and around the frame of window? Does the estimate include per window or per job?
    At the outset I felt Mr. Blondin to be surly and rude. When I asked about reducing cost because I felt that $400 was a lot of money. Perhaps not clean ALL the windows. I was told per job and that he had to drive from the islands. I later noticed on his add that he drives within a 50 mile radius for free. I live within that radius. Mr. Blondin was the inside guy. He told me on several occasions he is not a cleaning service when I asked if wiping/ and cleaning around the frame of the window is part of the service. Fine. I can follow along and clean as they go along, as I tried my best to do-inside and out. Had I known I would've been prepared for this part of the "window" clean. Again, my fault for not asking the right questions. He also stated no one has ever asked about cleaning the window frame and sill. I told him I found that hard to believe; more than once. Especially since he has been in service for 20 years, or so. I also noticed Mr. Blondin clamoring on my counter tops with his dirty work shoes. How about removing? or, using a protective shoe cover if your going to work inside like other service people who who come to work inside-like the plumbers, electricians, carpenters,movers, etc.
    The entire job took an hour and a half. Before paying, I did a  quick cursory look around only to hear Mr. Blondin muttering, "unbelievable" the entire time. Unfortunately, after the 2 left. I noticed an inside kitchen window not cleaned. I then I had to remove the screen and clean myself. Also, an inside master bath window has his large paw prints showing. If I could post pics I would.
    Fortunately, there is a new window cleaning company I just discovered and not on Angie's List is: The Big Picture window cleaning services. Licensed and insured. Free estimate. "we clean: windows, screens, tracks, sills, and more"

  • First time used last summer, happy with service. Was sent a coupon by Perry to book by end APril 2014 to receive discount to schedule a clean for 2014. Cancelled last minute middle of July( after waiting, preparing and expecting the window cleaning for months, AND arranged the clean right before a large formal gathering at the house ) even after a confirmation phone call from Perry the day before.Not one return phone call to rebook. So much for integrity and and quot;we always appreciate your businessand quot; and and quot;reliableand quot;.
    I understand a job earlier in the day took longer and could not get to my house that day. At least a courtesy follow up and rebook would a have been the right thing to do and much appreciated.
    If you have no expectations than this window cleaning service company may be right for you.

  • This family owned business sent out their very capable and polite son to remove the stain, my primary reason for calling them. I had used some Woolite carpet and upholstery cleaner right after the spill, but it was ineffective and the stain was unsightly. Al first applied a special stain remover and intensly washed the area of staining and then washed the remaining carpet. The stained area was much improved, but not completely. He advised me to wait for the carpet to dry and then would return if the stain was not completely gone after drying. He returned in 2 days and applied a different stain remover and this 2nd treatment was very effective. He did not charge until he had completed the second treatment. Saved our carpet and all the aggravation that would have been involved in replacing it.

  • I have had several different house cleaners over the years and Darcie is far superior.  She comes when she says she will and does a great job.  She is trust-worthy and friendly.  Her rates are higher than others but you get what you pay for.

  • The exterior looked great, as expected.  But I have been able to get the interior as clean as he got it.  There were nooks and crannies that have not been that clean since I bought the car (brand new).
