    Gibson, Dr. Cheryl A
Dr. Gibson has been with me all along. She calmed my fears worrying about ovarian cancer stating the cyst is filled with a clear fluid and is non-cancerous. At the discovery of the cyst I was sure I would have to undergo surgery. Dr. Gibson convinced me to wait and see as the MRI showed no signs of cancer. She has been correct and I now have an ultrasound annually to confirm there are no changes. Thank goodness for Dr. Gibson's wisdom and concern about undergoing unnecessary surgery. Dr. Gibson also teaches at UVM medical school and there are rumors she will be retiring in the near future. I can understand her desire to reduce her days in the office.

    John McLellan MD,MDCM,FACOG
Dr. McClellan was extremely thorough, patient, and accomodating to our questions. I felt much more at ease with the extent to which he educated us about what he will do, what he might find, and what he might do about it at the time as well as what may have to be addressed in the future.

    Veronica, Dr. Del R
Dr. Del Riccio is very professional, knowledgeable and is able to share information with her patients clearly. She made me feel at ease the moment I met her, and she walked me through the decisions I needed to make for my health. Facing an operation is never easy, but her competence gave me complete assurance and trust. She was sure to let me know what to expect at each step and she continues to monitor my health. She does not rush her patients, but instead listens carefully to them and is always available t answer any questions.

    NVRH Corner Medical
Sometimes it is hard to get an app't with your primary caregiver on short notice but I would trust any of the doctors there.

    Glaess, Dr. Sheila R.
She has a wonderful bedside manner. She is very easy to talk to and will answer any questions that you have. The staff is very nice and they are very responsive to your needs as well. They call you the day before your appointment for a reminder as well.

    Henry Ford Medical Group NEU
The best and worse attributes of Henry Ford co e from its size. On the one hand, they're big enough to have staff with narrow specialities, like the hand specialist I see in physical therapy. On the other hand, they are an administrative behemoth similar to the government. I applied for life insurance in August of 2012. Henry Ford was changing their record system and was not able to submit copies of my history until February 2013. By the time my policy was ready, I was diagnosed with MS and in eligible for life insurance. I have also used Providence and their records turnaround was two weeks. Although is is one rather sepecefic downside, I'm sure there are similar circumstances in which the slow administration and record keeping could become a danger to you, the patient. I am quite pleased with the medical staff and the overall care. I just wish they'd streamline the back office.

    Patrick Keenan MD,FACOG
In the early evening one Saturday, I called my OB practice's answering service because I was not feeling well and suspected it could be a UTI. I was concerned it was getting serious and would get to my kidneys if I waited until Monday to get treatment. Dr. Keenan called me at home and I did my best to describe my symptoms, although in my ignorance I didn't think I had enough definitive symptoms for a UTI. I later learned that what I described was an OBVIOUS UTI. That didn't matter to Dr. Keenan. In a very abrupt manner he made it clear that he was not listening to my description of my symptoms and he focused on two things: that I was bothering him and how was he going to get me to leave him alone. He asked if I wanted him to prescribe me antibiotics and I asked if I should have a urine culture first. He said the labs were closed for the weekend and I'd have to go to the emergency room. I didn't know what to do, and he wasn't telling me one way or the other, basically just to stop bothering him. About an hour later a missing symptom presented itself, a fever. I called Dr. Keenan back and he just said to go to the emergency room. At this point, he had all the symptoms needed to diagnose a UTI...but AGAIN his attitude was, "stop bothering me". I went to the emergency room and waited for 4 hours, getting worse in that waiting room. I called him crying saying I still didn't have treatment and I was afraid of developing a more serious condition----CRYING. He said--and I quote, "I'll write you a prescription so you stop calling me" (3 times in 5 hours....on-call OB??). He called the 24 hour drug store but the pharmacy was closed. He told me to go home and come back to the ER in the morning. My husband told the ER we were leaving and suddenly I got bumped back UP the list I had been bumped DOWN and they did diagnose the UTI and gave me antibiotics. Oh, and at my pharmacy they DID get a message from Dr. Keenan..the next morning....for a prescription...but without proper directions so my pharmacist said they couldn't do anything with it anyways. The pharmacist kept a record of that prescription request because it was so unprofessional. -Dr. Keenan missed the diagnosis because he never showed he was listening to my communication -Dr. Keenan attempted to harass and intimidate me into NOT getting proper treatment and expressed his annoyance that I sought his help -Dr. Keenan never resolved the medical issues I brought to his attention. His prescription could not be filled and he never followed up with me...after telling me to go home from the emergency room. After that night, both my husband and myself resolved not to have him treat me for anything. We have told the other OB's in the practice, (who are wonderful,) about these events and we have a specific plan to make sure he never comes near me. I have had the pleasure of working with great doctors in my life. This JERK doesn't deserve to be called a doctor!
