    The salesman wasn’t pushy.  We explained to him what we wanted and he helped us get just that.  He didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need.  They also were able to stop out and replace our old stove with the new one within a day.

    Tim was quick to respond to my message I left over the weekend. He was willing to work around my ridiculous schedule and came when he said he would. I particularly appreciated him giving me a ball park price BEFORE he did the work rather than after, as I have been shocked by other repairman in the past when given a hefty bill on a simple fix. Tim came into my house and was visibly concerned about walking through with his shoes on, which I quickly stated was okay to do as I had not cleaned yet. Most other repairman troop through, mud and all with no thought for the mess. He worked in a very tight spot, (ie: the laundry closet) rather than expecting me to remove the closet door, and did the repair to my washer without a glitch. I was thrilled with the service, repair and price. I would highly recommend Tim, for anyone needing an appliance fix. He was very professional, prompt, courteous and worked around me rather than the other way around. When he was done, everything was left in the same condition it was before he got there. I did not have to clean up after him at all and immediately began using my washer. I will be calling him from now on for all my appliance fixes.

    They were really good. It's definitely a convenient location for me. The managers there are wonderful. We have an apartment downstairs and we were looking at buying new appliances. They were very helpful. They always greet the customers with a smile, at least every time I've been in there. I like that they actually seem to remember who I am. It just feels good when you go in there. We bought a range, two washers and a dryer. We bought the second washer at a later date. When I went in, he already knew what I was interested in. He was just very good at sales and was not pushy. The gentleman and his wife are not pushy. The price is good if you get a sale. But if you don't get something on sale the prices aren't always as competitive as other places. I think they're a little higher.

    They arrived exactly on time to deliver the new dryer. There was no charge for set up and delivery. Bill and his team were helpful, careful with respect to my home, and very accomodating to our needs. They were very nice, dressed professionally and eager to make us happy. Customer service is a priority with them. Their main vendor is GE. I would definately recommend them for buying a new appliance. Also I'm a big fan of GE, the dryer they took was a GE/Hotpoint I had for 28 years.

    The morning that Bouchard Pierce was scheduled to do the installation, they called to say that their service person was sick.  The installation was rescheduled two weeks later.  At that rescheduled second appointment, they showed up but we discovered that they ordered the WRONG part.  They had to order the correct part and reschedule.  At the third rescheduled appointment, they called -- 45 minutes after they were supposed to have shown up -- to tell us that a co-worker was stuck in another area of Vermont and they wanted to reschedule yet again.  This has got to be one of the worst service providers I have ever encountered.  We've gone nearly two months without a fully operating oven because of their failure to show up on time and with the correct panel. I would definitely NOT recommend this service provider to anyone if you actually want the service performed correctly and promptly.

    Sears Roebuck were a nightmare. I originally bought a blender and it imploded. A service guy came out and took out the drum. It took about 2 weeks for him to come back out and put the replacement drum in. The manager got mad at the service guy, because he was going to just replace the drum. I ended up just buying a dryer in replacement. Even though I bought a extended warranty I had a hard time getting it replaced. Within 2 months I had to get a new dryer. I will never buy a new appliance from them again. It takes them forever to fix an appliance, it takes more than one trip. One to look at it, then they order the part, and then they come again to complete the repair. They should just keep the parts on hand and bring them with them just in case. Sears and won't honor each others warranties.

    The Hearthstone woodstove's doorlatch has always been tricky. It must be able to latch securely in order to provide correct draft so the wood lasts all night and doesnt burn too hot. The latch is apparently worn and will not secure itself at all, which does not make sense as the part is iron i believe. We were told by the maker of the stove to go to nearest dealer. We called"Friends of the Sun" and spoke to "Marty" , described the situation, he called us back and said we do not make that part anymore. We said can you assist us in finding someone like a welder (?)who can come here and fix it or we bring the door to someone to fix it we said wed be willing to pay good money for the help and he said find your own welder lady and hung up on me. We called him right beck and i said i dont appreciate being hung up on he said youre crazy lady and hung up again. We called back again spoke to his boss who who condoned his sexist chauvenist behavior even in their place of business. I was given a phone number for a welder which turned out to be a wrong number. We find it very sad that when they realized they could not sell me an expensive new stove that not only dismissed us but was exceptionally cruel. This business advertises itself as being"green", throwing away a relatively new stove and all the resources that went to creating it because the small little latch does not work is not green. the only green this company appears to be interested in is the paper kind. Hearthstone woodstoves states on their website that they will provide ongoing assistance for their stoves THROUGH THEIR AUTHORIZED DEALERS ONLY which is "Friends of the Sun" in Machester, VT .They say that their authorized dealer will be there for you for any follow up needs. and is obligated to provide you the buyer with advice, warranty support and service. We provide the dealer with support and they in turn provide any support that you may require. We want your experience to be as comfortable and easy as possible. Give yourself the peace of mind that buying locally will give. This is not what happened at "Friends of the Sun" the so-called authorized dealer who sold and installed this stove in our home.

    Worst ever.  These guys are real BOZO's.   Purchased a new refrigerator that was supposed to be delivered on a certain date at a certain time.  Both me and my wife took a day off of work so we could be ready, have the old fridge unloaded and ready to go when they got here.   The time came and went.   I called them they said not to worry it on its way.  we proceeded to unload and place in boxes all around the kitchen the contents off 2 refrigerators , ( the 1 in the kitchen and the spare that was being scraped and replaced with the one from the kitchen ) .  Hours go by, its not afternoon around 2pm I call again, AGAIN they say not to worry.  Around 4 pm they call and say do to some screw up the wrong unit got put on the truck and my new fridge was back in the shop 10 miles away, they say they wouldn't be out our way again for a few days or a week !!!!!!!   Now I have my kitchen in a shambles and no refrigerator !!!!    I say NOOOOO go back to the shop and get my fridge and deliver it today.  They say no trier guys don't work past 5pm ????????   Needless to say I got my money back, went to Home Depot and got a better price and BETTER SERVICE.  BEST HAS NO CLUE TO WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE REALLY IS >!!!!!!!!

    The unit, a Kenmore, ran for 40 minutes of every hour.  I requested a return.  I was told "What am I supposed to do with it now? I'll be stuck with it".  I was told there was a 20% restock fee.
