Beyond impressed! Sean and his team were kind, timely, clean, knowledgeable with product and encouraging the best for my families goal opposed to pressing an opinion based off of personal income.

Very well. He is very thorough and knowledgeable about preparing surfaces for paint, also about the different materials and paint to be used. He has worked for me for over 20 years as a sub-contractor when I was a general contractor, on my personal homes and for a B&Bthat I owned and operated for 10 years.

Michael Jordan and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. They are a hard-working, flexible, and professional bunch of guys with a good attitude, work ethic, and sense of humor. Once the job started, they worked every day until it was done (except the weekend). Michael is extremely detail oriented and meticulous in his work, and he did little extras like adding sills for the windows and reinstalling and fixing the disappearing attic ladder that had not been installed properly. We couldn't be more thrilled with the results, and we plan to call him again when we have our great room and hallway repainted.

The work went quickly and as noted above it all turned out perfect. This house is a family house and I managed the work with Alden Painting remotely. This needed close communication and Mr. Alden regular sent me digital photos of the work and between these and phone calls we were able to make effective decisions and this saved me a couple long drives.

John and his helper were very efficient and professional.  They showed up on time every day, were neat and clean workers, kept in communication with me throughout the process, did excellent prep work and amazing finish work.  We had met with John prior to the work beginning to go over colors and finishes.  John made suggestions we hadn't even thought of and we are so pleased with the final product!  We have received many compliments from our family and friends and are very pleased with Alden Painting's work and would highly recommend them.

John did excellent work at my home! I asked him to paint the entire interior of my house including doors and window trim. He worked quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. He made the process incredibly easy for me. He finished a day earlier than expected and cleaned the entire workspace very well. Excellent workmanship and a pleasure to work with which is a rare and wonderful combination I would happily work with John again and would strongly recommend him.

John and his team did an excellent job painting the house and detached garage.  The paint was applied thickly and evenly - I expected that I would have to ask him back to touch up some areas but I couldn't find any flaws.  And unlike other painters that I have hired in the past, they kept sharp borders and didn't get stray paint on any lights, switches, doors, etc.  They cleaned up after themselves well enough that you wouldn't have known they were there.  We're very pleased, and it was well worth the price.

Dan was extremely professional and great to work with. He stayed true to his schedule and his work is pure perfection. He paid attention to the smallest of details and our condo has never looked better. I HIGHLY recommend him.

In September of 2012 I hired a "contractor" to turn a 400sf shed into a pool house/guest house. This guy told me it would be a 6-8 week job. 8 1/2 months later and he had gone through $58,000 of the $60,000 agreed on price. I never met a guy with so many excuses. So I fired the guy and then decided to join Angie's List. That was the 2nd best $15 I ever spent. The best $15,000 I ever spent was hiring Thomas Koch to complete the project. I called him on a Monday and he met me on Tuesday to look at the job and give me a price. He told me he thought the job would take 8 days to complete. They started the following Monday and hit it hard with 2 guys doing construction, 3 electricians and 2 plumbers. The plumbers and 2 electricians were done after day 1. The other days he had 4 workers on the job and 1 electrician for most of it. These guys worked from 8:30am until 5-5:30pm. And true to Thomas' word, they were finished in 8 days. The work included:  painting the entire interior and ceiling, installing blinds on 5 windows, tiling the huge shower stall and the other parts of the floor that was unfinished, installing a huge glass backsplash in the kitchen, painting kitchen cabinets and installing handles, building and installing a huge Murphy bed, multiple pot lights, repairing an outside brick deck, installing various doors and a pocket door, building storage shelves, fence repair, installing ceiling fan and so much more. The workers were professional and very conscientious and cleaned up their messes every day. Our place looks great and we could not be more satisfied.

Kevin was very responsive and professional from the first consultation for the estimate to the final stages of the project. He was patient as my husband and I evaluated contractors and asked lots of questions. He worked with us remotely as we do not live full-time in Vermont. Between text messages, emails and phone calls, Kevin kept us in the loop on how the project was going and he sent pictures along the way. Kevin was also invaluable in identifying, contacting, and scheduling the other contractors needed to complete the project (insulation and roofing).
