AMajor Homes CorpExcellent. Mitch came himself to give the estimate. This was for my mom's house and I needed to be in from out of town to monitor for her. Even though there were some weather delays, they got it done in the window I had scheduled, which I really appreciated. Mitch told me he was available 24/7 in the event of problem, but quite frankly, there were none. The crew was professional and responsive, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. FMorel Construction LLCWe hired Mr. Morel as a general contractor for several projects - a new standing seam roof, a barn, and overseeing replacement of our house siding. Mr. Morel provided limited oversight of subcontractors for our roof replacement and siding replacement. Our roof was supposed to take two weeks and wound up taking over two months. It was dented and scratched throughout and chimneys were improperly flashed. Upon completion of the roof, we notified Mr. Morel that the condition was unacceptable. We gave Mr. Morel ample time (over a year) to provide repair. He made several promises that were never kept and has ignored final demands for repair. Mr. Morel failed to properly supervise the contractor hired to replace the siding of home and, as such, the contractor walked off the job and we were forced to hire Mr. Morel's crew to finish the job that had already ran well beyond schedule. The cost was substantially higher. We also hired Mr. Morel to construct a barn and workshop. He did not provide documentation of expenses that exceeded his agreed-to quotes, despite our requests. Additionally, we have since discovered several minor issues that will require us hiring someone to correct them.- Lauren B.

ATop Notch Roofing IncIronically I could have hired Topnotch in the beginning as they were one of the 3 quotes I gathered. I tried to save $1,300 by going with the original contractor who came to the job with 2 kids doing the work, not properly installing materials, swearing at each other all day, and flooding my property causing around $10,000 of damage with no insurance. Topnotch however came to the job with a crew of guys that knew what they were doing, were professional, worked HARD! and did a beautiful job. Dave squeezed me into his busy schedule and really bailed me out. Due to not fully knowing what was under the shingles the original roofer laid Dave said it has hard to put a number on the job but gave me a ball park price and I agreed to an hourly rate. Almost right off it was clear there would be much additional work and I was going to be over budget. In the end Dave was very reasonable with me, to the point I couldn't believe. There was a bit over $2,000 in extras I should have been charged for. I couldn't say enough good things about Topnotch. I will be hiring them again in the fall for some windows. I couldn't imagine a better construction crew to hire. Thank you so much guys!- Brian S.

F5 months after the completion of my bathroom renovation, I’m now seeing issues with Alexander Santillan’s work. The grout/caulk work that was done is not satisfactory and is now cracking where the tile meets the ceiling. There are voids in the grout along the walls of the shower. While the contract that we’ve both signed states that he has a one year guarantee on his work, Alex has now become unreachable to resolve the issues seen. I’ve reached out via phone, text and email to no avail. I finally decided to give him a call from my work number and magically, he answers. When I let him know that I’ve been trying to get in contact with him, he told me that he “didn’t get” my calls or text messages. I then described the issues with the grout/caulk and without even seeing anything, he says that my house must have “shifted.” He told me he would call the next day to arrange looking at the issue but he never called me back. I will now have to come out of my pocket to resolve his shoddy work because he will not respond to any correspondence that I initiate. He is blatantly ignoring my calls so I'm forced to update my review. My issue now is that he is clearly not a man of his word, doesn't honor his contract and runs his business very unprofessionally. I now realize that there were red flags that I looked past throughout the process. These include him not returning to install shower shelves, installing a chipped piece of marble on the floor when there was plenty of tile to use, and him leaving several heavy bags of debris from the project in my garage when debris removal is included in his fee. Save yourself the headache, money and time and find a more reputable contractor. As a customer that gave him business during a global pandemic, I am very disappointed.

AAatek did an excellent job replacing our roof. The crew was professional, courteous, and very attentive to our needs, even performing additional work that was outside the scope of the project. Their price was lower than all other quotes, but it was AATEK’s lifetime labor guarantee and the owner’s (Dave) commitment to explaining the process and answering all of our questions that was the deciding factor in selecting them for the job.
