AEssential ArboristI was extremely pleased with Bill Agnew's work and wouldn't hesitate to both hire him again and recommend him to others. He works alone (a huge plus in my opinion!) and definitely knows what he is doing. Bill was an easy person to interact with. It's clear he wants to understand the customer's vision, and throughout my project would periodically check in with me to be sure we were still on the same page. He listens, but also doesn't hesitate to interject his helpful advice and opinions. My cedar hedge had been largely neglected in the past few years. What a difference after Bill was finished! My burning bushes, barberry and dogwood were "opened up" by prudent thinning and then trimmed so that they all have shapes again. In addition, he took down several limbs from a mature maple tree that were getting too close to a barn roof, as well as a few limbs from a serviceberry and Japanese lillac. Bill has his own chipper, so he was able to take care of all the brush on site and right along as he worked, and then finished the clean-up with a thorough hand-raking. They say you get what you pay for. This was money well-spent.- Joanie C.

AWe had junk to remove from our basement and around our exterior buildings. The quote was for an hour of labor (2 employees) and a 20 foot dumpster. They hauled away metal, oil, electronics, tires and wood-based items. They arrived right on time and were very pleasant to deal with. They stuck around to give us a quote on fence installation as well.

AThis was the most money we have ever paid anyone to do anything...ever. The Sheridans had our trust throughout the entire process. They gave an affordable quote and did awesome work. They cleaned up during each stage of the project and always communicated well with me about timing and issues that came up. Our garage dimensions were awkward and not a perfect rectangle by any means - these guys had to craft a kit of workarounds for irregular shapes and curves. Todd and Luke are good human beings with positive attitudes, and care about their integrity and their work. I hope to use them in the future.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

AZeb Snow's company, Snowscapes, has done extensive work on our home in Colchester, VT. He and his team did an amazing job completely remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. The house was truly transformed after Zeb and his team were done. Zeb provided an accurate quote and exact timeframe for the project which was so helpful! This was our first home renovation project so we appreciated Zeb's insight and professional expertise. When we put our home on the market a couple years later, it quickly sold for our desired price largely due to the high quality remodel which was commented upon by real estate agents and the home buyer. In addition to the remodeling jobs, Zeb also helped us with substantial structural fixes. He is our go-to contractor!
