AQuality Preferred PaintingSteve and his team did a great job renovating our home on Cape Cod. It was a big job as it was basically a total gut due pipes bursting and going unchecked for days. His guys were prompt and professional and did very good work in particular custom carpentry work and exterior and interior painting. ATongue & Groove CarpentryWe are very happy with the work that Mark did to finish our basement. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always on time, he had some great suggestions to improve on our intended design, and the work was top notch. Mark is one of those rare contractors who puts customer service at the top of the list. His team was polite and friendly, and cleaned the work area thoroughly at the end of each day. They worked quickly as well, completing all work within 4 weeks. As we were removing some lally columns to make the basement space more open, the first thing Mark did was bring in a structural engineer to review the loads and determine how best to shore up the beams. The work that Mark did would have easily cost me more than twice as much with the other contractor who quoted the job. I recommend Tongue & Groove 100% and will definitely hire them again!- Eric B.

ABenedict Building and Remodeling LLCWe hired Kevin from Benedict Building Company to renovate our house in Warren, Vermont. The project included a challenging replacement of a spiral metal staircase with a traditional wooden staircase in a very limited amount of space. Kevin found solutions to all of the challenges along the way and built a great staircase that is much safer and easier to navigate. They also: • Removed a wall • Installed new wood floors, refinished existing floors • built a custom closet • built a custom shelf • installed tiles in the mudroom Kevin was great at communicating status of the project and always kept things on track and on budget.- frank m.

ABenedict Building and Remodeling LLCKevin came in and picked up the job that was abandoned by a previous individual. We were in a time crunch and he came in and got as to the finish line. I would not have been able to finish without him as I could only come up on the weekends, and I do not have the skills for most of the work that he did. He hung a bunch of interior doors, installed a front door, tiled an entryway, patched some walls, and a few other items that I can't recall right now. AThis was the most money we have ever paid anyone to do anything...ever. The Sheridans had our trust throughout the entire process. They gave an affordable quote and did awesome work. They cleaned up during each stage of the project and always communicated well with me about timing and issues that came up. Our garage dimensions were awkward and not a perfect rectangle by any means - these guys had to craft a kit of workarounds for irregular shapes and curves. Todd and Luke are good human beings with positive attitudes, and care about their integrity and their work. I hope to use them in the future.

AWe had junk to remove from our basement and around our exterior buildings. The quote was for an hour of labor (2 employees) and a 20 foot dumpster. They hauled away metal, oil, electronics, tires and wood-based items. They arrived right on time and were very pleasant to deal with. They stuck around to give us a quote on fence installation as well.

AI had the pleasure of working with Chris on 12/27/20. We had the unpleasant task of a major sewer line backup and overflow in an apartment building that I manage. The ceilings on the first floor had fallen in, and poo water was everywhere. He was absolutely no nonsense professional in getting a stinky situation under control. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and he wasted no time doing it in a thorough and professional manner. He was helpful through the entire project, from cleaning up the nastiness, to dealing with the insurance company, and getting the tenants back into their home. I would absolutely recommend using their services, and I am sure the situation will arise again. As a general handyman, this was way out of my realm, and I am grateful to have found Chris, and Paul Davis from Hardwick, VT.
