This company, more really an individual with some experience in house jacking, had neither the professional experience nor equipment to take on the job they quoted for me. Over a period of 3 weeks they never worked 5 days a week, would show up at odd times, and work only for several hours, then leave. They asked for 1/3 down, made out to the principle Gary Deschamp, not the Company name, and left immediately to go to my bank to cash the check. They did this same thing looking for the second check (way too early), left  for the day and took the money.  At start of job, they said they "move all wires and pipe" in order to get the job down, however, when a sewer pipe was too close to the wall, they refused to move it, and denied they ever said they move sewer pipes. Mr. Deschamp and his partner used medical excuses to avoid finishing work, and would not provide contacts to confirm any absences;  making it appear like a scam operation. The final concern was when they called to say they could not come to work for the foreseeable future because Mr. Deschamp's hospital visit to get a back injection went afowl and he had to be admitted to the hospital because "the doctor had scrapped his spine with the injection needle and they were rushing him into testing." I learned (only after they started work) the Vermont Attorney Generals office had/has 3 seperate complaints on file, the most recent was 3 weeks before they started my job. I had to relieve them of their contract, expecting to get some money back, but they were ready for this--they had produced an itemized list of all work they claimed to have done already which amounted to MORE than the 2/3s payment they had received, and expected to get another $2000 out of me.    Two dubious items were $1000 for removal of a 4" diameter tree he said he needed to cut to get his backhoe in, and also $800 to dig a 3 foot length of dirt surrounding  a pipe.  I lost $12,300 to this unscrupulous company, Green Mountain Jacking.
This is a scam operation and consumers would be wise to avoid Green Mountain Jacking, Gary Deschamp, principle owner/operator.

The crew from Johnson Paving were very affordable, in comparison to quotes we got from other companies in the area. Due to the smaller size of our job, they did not get to us for about a month and a half, but it was well worth the wait, and we were not in a huge rush. The workers were prompt, thorough, and did completed the job as per our conversations and to the specs of the estimate. The cost of the job was exactly as they quoted. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and would recommend them to others.

Mark was worth the wait. I can't say enough about him as a contractor and as a person. He's a man of his word. He says it like it is and he gets the job done. We started with a partially finished basement that was old, moldy and musty. It had ceiling tiles that would hang down, carpet that smelled, and wood paneling painted white. In addition, we had a half bath and laundry area. (Although, we weren't able to even use the bathroom as we had issues with the plumbing being at that low level and would get backflow from the toilet on occasion if we tried to use it — a huge disappointment as we had purchased the house hoping to really be able to use the space.) So we decided to have it redone. We had three different contractors in to look at the space and give estimates and Mark came in with the same price as the others and did a TON MORE WORK. He was able to re-frame and drywall the entire space for us, give us inset lighting, give us a new FULL bathroom/laundry room and new stairs for the price of what others quoted for just the bathroom/laundry room. We didn't know Mark from a hole in the wall (or in the basement floor in our case), but we decided to take a chance. He and his team worked quickly (as quickly as the permitting/inspection process allows) and was responsive and efficient. We now have a beautiful new space with a bathroom we can use. Mark's plumber gave us the most efficient and simple method of having a really nice bathroom by using a simple pump system that will eliminate any of the previous plumbing issues we had previously. The lighting looks great and his electrician worked quickly and re-wired much of the old and outdated electrical. Mark framed out the space in no-time, and his drywall man did the entire space in a couple of days. Mark finished the trim, and a closet with custom shelves, and made custom shelving under the stairs in the laundry room where we now have useful storage space. We are already taking advantage of our newly refinished space! Thanks Mark and team! If/When we need more work done, we know where to look.

Charles Delaney is the owner and the primary worker. He has worked for me and for people I have known for a lot of years. I am happy with the work he did for me recently. This is not the first time he is working for me. I have known him for a long time. He is very experienced and honest. His price is good. He was part of a small project with other people involved and it had to pass more than just me.

the company fixed my basement, and were suppose to warranty the work, and come back twice a year to tighten up the wall braces. Evidently they went out of business and someone else allegedly took over the name, but some or all of the same people still work there. Now I have to pay travel time and an hourly rate to have them tighten the wall braces.

As I stated above, I now have to pay for the time and travel expenses to have them tighten the braces on the wall, not to mention maintenance on the sump pump. I'm not sure who own the company now, or if this is some kind of scam. I would be very hesitant to use them, it seems like some kind of fraud, to get more money out of me.

I was very impressed with Bill and his team.  They were professional, timely, communicative, friendly and did excellent work for exactly the price that was quoted.  I look forward to using them again in the future.

Jess was a professional from start to finish. He was very helpful, even when I told him I thought I'd go with another company due to his time constraints. In the end we went with Jess and are super happy not only with the job but with process itself.

The guys seem very nice and prompt. He is very efficient and I will hire them to do our maintenance next spring. We had them come back and had some delays but everything turned out fine.
