AQuality Home InspectionsMy sister in law used them for their home inspection and my wife was there during that home inspection. My wife liked how knowledgeable and upfront they were with her sisters home inspection. Being a new home buyer, I literally went with any recommendation and I was not disappointed. We arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment and Jim was already surveying the area. He was very thorough and would give us recommendations on how to fix cosmetic issues. He also provided more information about how houses were built back in the day. I would highly recommend them as they were very knowledgeable and professional. ATowne & Country is the most professional and thorough inspection company we've ever dealt with in the 4 other times we've hired a home inspector. Being active duty military and stationed in Alabama we couldn't be present during the home inspection and Evan Kittrell did an amazing job explaining the findings and condition of the home. Not only did Evan take a vast amount of pictures to communicate the condition of the home, he used a drone to show us the condition of the roof and exterior portions of the home we couldn't see with the naked eye. I would highly encourage any home buyer to utilize Towne & Country for their home inspection needs.

CWe used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing.

BDid not actually use his service, as he was an inspector, not a repair person. He was honest from the get go, and said that if I knew I had an issue, that I should just get someone to repair the damage. I appreciated his honesty and asked who he would use. He did get me in touch with a gentleman that came and looked at the roof and repaired in the same day for what I felt was a good price

AAs new customers, we were very impressed with the quick, professional and friendly service provided by this company. Within 2 hrs of our initial call, we were texted a picture of our technician & his name along with an estimate of his arrival time. Our technician, Phil McIntosh, was very professional and thorough in explaining what was wrong & how he could repair it. Payment was quick & easy and a detailed invoice was emailed to us the same day for our records. My 86 year old mom was very thankful to have a cool house again on a 90 degree day & to have a fast turnaround time for repair handled by a professional & friendly technician. We give this company an A grade without hesitation.

AI am an agent at Greg Garrett Realty and Commonwealth has been my go-to termite/moisture company since the beginning of my career. They do excellent work and I have been very satisfied whenever I have used them. There was one particular time when I was especially glad that I used Commonwealth. A seller had an old house where we noticed signs of potential foundation problems by sloped flooring. I got the standard home inspection and a termite/moisture inspection. I also got a foundation inspection. The sellers wanted me to use their termite and moisture company that they had the property under warranty with, but I advised the buyer I was representing to insist that we get our own inspection with our own termite/moisture company. It was an older house that had settled and the inspectors had difficulty getting into the crawl space. Out of the 3 inspectors, the only one who said that he was willing to dig in order to get into the crawl space was Chris Seek with Commonwealth. Chris and I cleared away some rocks and he was able to get into the crawl space. What he found was 10's of thousands of dollars worth of damage to the foundation. The termite company that had this house under warranty refused to acknowledge that there was a problem (they probably never crawled underneath the house!). We were able to get out of the contract on the house that otherwise would have seemed to be a good deal. Someone else bought the house and to our knowledge, those major foundation issues with visible evidence through sloped flooring and plenty of evidence underneath the house have never been resolved to this day. After that, we found another older home in a historic district. While it didn't have nearly the sloping of the first home, Commonwealth did find that it needed a lot of work in its foundation as well. This time, the seller was willing to do the work, and the buyer I was working with not only had the problem resolved but got new flooring as a result throughout most of the 1st floor of their house at no added cost to the buyer! When I bought my own house, Commonwealth didn't find anything wrong with it, and I was glad to know that if something could have been found, they would be much more likely to find it and thoroughly resolve it than many other termite/moisture companies. When I had a bug problem at my house that I called an exterminator about earlier this week after traps I put out weren't enough, of course, I called Commonwealth!

AI can't say enough great things about this company. They came out and looked at the issue, and we had a quote within an hour. Other companies didn't get us a quote until the next week. They scheduled services with us and were on time and ready to go on the day of installation. They were professional and hard working, and finished the full replacement work the same day. I was very impressed that once they finished, they swept and mopped the garage where they were working. I was not expecting that, and just shows that they pay attention to detail. On top of all this, the price charged for a full replacement including duct work was lower than any competitor. It's clear they do not sacrifice anything when offering prices. I would give them an A ++++++++ if possible.
