    Kitchen Tune-Up
The work was completed as described. The people were all very nice, professional, on time each day, great clean up. I wanted to change 1990s fruitwood stained alder wood cabinet doors and boxes to painted white. Mark convinced me that painting was not a good idea d/t the problems, over time, that accompany paint. He was very nice, not pushy. I went with the "tune up" but wish I had gone with the paint. The cabinets do look "tuned up" They have a shine but just look like they have been washed down and a shine product applied. This is of course what was basically explained to me so the company did what they said they do. I guess my point is that if you have an older home, original brown stain to wood and want to "update" then you should either 1) Replace the cabinets (which I could not afford to do) or 2) go with your gut and get them painted because just "tuning up" is not going to make you happy. I wish I would have gone with the white painted look. It would have been about the same amount of money and I know I would have been happier. I just had 14 (6 panel doors) replaced and all existing window and baseboard trim for 3 bedrooms, 5 closet and 12ft hall, WHICH HAD THE SAME FRUITWOOD STAIN, done for $2600.00, price including painting everything white AND INSTALLING NEW DOORS. IT looks GREAT and I am so happy with it. Mark and his company did what they said they would do and there is no fault with them. I do think this is basically a good cleanse with a gloss top coating of KitchenFit proprietary product and significantly overpriced. BTW I had estimates of $2700.00 to 3500.00 for painting of the cabinets so price was not the deciding factor for me; it was the sales pitch. Kitchen Fit was just more convincing r/t longevity of the work product. Expensive lesson learned.

    Nhance of Hampton Roads
Service is friendly, professional and above all, the end product is fantastic. The guys showed up early and stayed late to finish all three bathrooms since they told us they would get done in a day. Blaine came back the next day to clean up some overspray and respray some missed spots. Our cabinets looked old and worn but the spray made them look brand new. Realize that this service does not hide any damage (nor do they claim to) but it will make worn cabinets look new for a third the price of of a full refinish or replacement. There is some overspray onto walls and floors but it cleans up easily and the guys won't leave until you're happy with everything. They wouldn't even take final payment until the cleanup was completely done.

    Kitchen Tune-Up
We were extremely pleased with the finished product as our kitchen now looks brand new without the added cost to replace the entire cabinets. Mr. Levy is great to work with and has an eye for detail and aims to please his clients. His workers were always very courteous and professional. We had to change several items during the makeover and we appreciated Mr. Levy's understanding and not trying to nickel and dime us. Their product was not the cheapest but I guess you truly get what you pay for. It took a little longer than we expected but in the end it was well worth it. Definitely would recommend giving Kitchen Tune Up a try.

    Kitchen Tune-Up
refinishing work was very nice, the hardware replacement didn't go as well. They didn't get the right hinges for the door, the doors stuck out ½" from the frames, The pulls were nearly all installed crooked and had to be modified. Some of the door tracks had to be replaced and one couldn't be corrected until I hired another contractor to redo the hinges and slides.

    Kitchen Tune-Up
Mark Levy came when he said he would, and presented the product very well. Two professionals came to the house about a week later. Thereese and Jean Marie. Both were aggressive about getting the work done in a timely manner and worked continuously until the work was complete. The work was tedious and very detailed. When they were through it looked like someone had come in and installed new cabinets throughout the house. Seriously they didn't look that good when we bought the house 25 years ago. We would recommend the company to our family and friends without hesitation. It was one of the best investments we've ever made. Thanks again to Thereese and JonMarie for their professionalism (they also became our friends).

Michael Greene Painting & Home Improvements, Inc.
Chris was punctual and had all of his supplies and was ready to go to work.  We added the bathroom cabinets after he had done the estimate for the kitchen and he was able to accommodate us.  He learned the value of using a cabinet hardware guide when placing knobs and pulls on the doors.   Chris is giving us an estimate to paint the interior upstairs and we look forward to working with him once again.

    STAHL CABINETS
Bob came in after negotiations with another company went south.  He was friendly and VERY willing to work with our hectic schedule.  He emailed the proposal to me with 24 hours and included a timeline to help me with scheduling time to be home.  I mentioned that I liked glass in kitchen cabinets and he offered to do that as well.  In the end Bob did a fantastic job, he was pleasant, professional and flexible.   We've searched high and low for an honest contractor and have finally found him!  We'll be calling on Bob for all of our future projects.

    Kennedy Renovations LLC
When you think about your kitchen, you're usually thinking about the heart of your home, and one of its biggest selling points or drawbacks. It can be moderately to extremely expensive to redo, and we knew we couldn't completely gut and rebuild, nor did we want to, considering that the cost return is better on a minor to moderate kitchen renovation. We found this company through a kiosk in the mall. We decided to call just for the free estimate, but were sold on the product. A family company, well run. The men who came to do the work were professional, experienced, punctual, hard-working, friendly, cleaned up as they went, and had great senses of humor. What more could anyone ask for? Everyone who sees our redone kitchen comments on how pretty it is, and many ask what kind of wood it is. They cannot tell that it is a laminate until we tell them. I tell them that it's the best kind...wash and wear! We chose our refacing product and countertop from Kennedy. They gave us the option of choosing a granite surface for the countertop, which we decided against due to cost considerations, and we're quite happy with the countertop options they provided. We picked the tile for the backsplash from another store, and Kennedy installed it for us. Likewise with the microwave, sink, hardware and faucets. They wanted to put in a new garbage disposal, but I wasn't getting rid of my Tim Allen model, and they figured it out for us. There are a few remaining issues, including some gaps in the mopboard and not being over the top about the grouting used where tile and countertop meet. However, they guarantee their product and work, so even after all this time, I'm very confident that I can call them and they'll fix these issues. Even though they could have installed or built them for us, they didn't try to sell us on ripping out and installing new cabinets where it wasn't necessary, as our existing, built in cabinets are stronger and better made than almost anything on the market. Tim, Kennedy's carpenter and all-around Mr. Can Do, did a fantastic job building the cabinets that needed replacing. The company has new cabinet doors made for them, with the laminate on, and the workers install them, but they install the laminate that goes over the cabinets. The glassed doors for one set of cabinets were made for us minus the glass, and we took them to a local, reputable glass company to choose and have them install the glass. Kennedy understood what we envisioned concerning changes, and helped us design them. The entire job was done in a matter of days, not weeks or months. Three workers, they started the job and came every day until it was finished, with no delays. We will be resurfacing the cabinets in two of our bathrooms, and I won't call anyone but Kennedy.

    STAHL CABINETS
We knew in the first ten minutes of speaking with Bob Stahl that he was the guy we were going to hire for the job. He helped us with logistics and turned our ideas into sketches. Other places we got quotes from sent salesmen, who tried to sell us what THEY wanted to sell us. Bob listened to what we wanted, said he could do it and make it look great, and that was that. He built us a new bank of upper & lower cabinets for one side of the kitchen, including heavy duty pot drawers. He also built us a wine rack with stemware holders. He designed it himself. It works great for us and helped us with some serious storage issues. He also refaced the original cabinets, making them match the stuff he made, and it all looks fantastic together; it all looks new. My friends are envious. Our kitchen actually looks bigger now that all the clutter has a place to be stored. Bob also corrected the original builder's flaws while he was in our kitchen... cabinets that opened the wrong way, and drawers that did not have enough clearance for drawer pulls. Now everything works properly. I suspect he fixed our finicky oven drawer too (?)... it has worked right for the first time, ever since he was in our kitchen! He discussed countertop and flooring materials with us and made suggestions in line with our concerns of trying not to price ourselves out of our little neighborhood. I chose a type of vinyl flooring that was new and a bit different from the usual... he did not even blink an eye at the possibility that installation may be different than what he was used to. It is hard to rattle this guy. My dogs and my toddler liked Bob, so that has got to say something about his character! I am picky when it comes to finish work, and Bob did a great job on that. The last day he was here, he went through each sticky note I had put up and methodically fine-tuned everything job by job. It seemed like all that detail work was already on HIS mental list for the day anyway. We plan to hire Bob again when we are ready to remodel our bathrooms. He is trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, and polite. He is a good listener, knows his stuff, and does it really well.
