    Day 1 - technician arrived 30 minutes late to the appointment. The technician began chargeable work on the dryer without informing me of the charge. Technician did not complete cleaning of the duct work although charged for the full cleaning service. When asked for quotes on additional work, we were quoted an inflated number and then when we asked about the math, the technician changed the number. Their was a trip charge added to the cost which was not in the original quote for a service call. The service call diagnosis which I assume turns into the trip charge was not rolled into the price to repair the unit. The technician only cleaned the unit and was wrapping up when I needed to ask him to check the electrical was working. I took the technicians word when he said all is well and the cleaning (because that's all he did) fixed the problem. Day 2 - After testing the dryer we still have the same problem. I called the technician and he insisted it was the vent causing the problem but did not want to come out to clean the vent. After hanging up with the technician, he called back later, wanting to make things right, he scheduled a visit to clean the vent. He never showed. Day 3 - I called the main number and spoke to the scheduling person (I am guessing). I explained the situations. She did not apologize for the trouble without me bringing up that their was no apology. She scheduled the technician for the next day at 5:30pm. Day 4 - I received a phone call at 5:10 pm from the scheduling person that the technician is running late but will be their at 6:00 pm. The technician did not arrive until 6:40 pm. He could not work on the vent because we had other plans for that time. We scheduled for the next day at 6:00 pm. Day 5 - Technician never showed. Never called. Day 6 - Called Way Cool Appliance repair and left message. Still no response and it has been five days since the technician was to return. Day 11 - Called and left another message. No response. Technicians name was James

    Item was successfully repaired, but then it sat in shop for over two weeks waiting to be returned to me. Initially, they were difficult to contact. I left three messages and calls were not returned. Some calls that I made over the course of two weeks (during business hours, of course) went unanswered. When I was told I would be called back, I wasn't. I had to initiate everything. When I thought they were coming to repair it, it was only to look at it. Days later, a different crew was sent to pick it up and take it to shop to work on. Person who answers the phone never got back to me when she said she would. Crew was sent to my home twice without first checking to see if I would be home. A very frustrating experience overall. The only positives are that the appliance is fixed finally and the young men who worked on it and came to the house were very nice.

    First attempt ordered and replaced the control board for about $80 plus service charge . That didn't fix it. Meanwhile Shawl's repairman left their employment. So a second repair person came out. Using his contact network on what goes wrong, he was led to the small ~1.5 inch diameter drying fan whose motor had died. The washer control detects that there is no air flowing and stops the cycle. He could't refund the control board cost because he couldn't verify that it was also not bad, but he knocked off the charge for his second trip. I can live with that. Realistically, repair is sometimes a hit or miss game and you have to support the service folks who attempt it.

    First tech that came out told me that I needed a new transmission. They sent another guy out with the transmission for the installation. The guy they sent out took a look at my washer and told me that I actually didn't need a new transmission and that I only needed a new sprocket. He fixed the washing machine and didn't charge me for the transmission. I know nothing about washing machines so he could've easily replaced the part and charged me for it and I wouldn't have known the difference. I was so positively impressed with his honesty and character. This company is also very punctual and fair priced as well. Top notch.

    They did a good job. The price was very good. They were right on time. They did exactly the job. They even found some reconditioned parts and saved me some money, so that was good. They were good guys. They were very friendly and professional. They knew their business. I couldn't as for any better service. They did a fine job.

    Called G H Appliance when our Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling yesterday afternoon.  The individual I spoke to on the phone was very personable and asked detailed questions to isolate the problem as much as possible.  He apologized as they were fully booked for that day but promised to get someone out the next day.  I received a call last evening scheduling the visit for 11am-1pm today.  At about 11:40am today (on time!), Brandon arrived and set to work.  He was able to isolate the problem and completely repair our 6 year old refrigerator in about an hour.   He was very pleasant and was very careful with everything.  He also clearly explained what he found and how he fixed it, which I something I always really appreciate. Cleaned up the area at the end of the visit.  Refrigerator is working like new now!  Very pleased with this experience and highly recommend.

    They came on a Monday to evaluate our whirlpool washer that was making horrific noises.  They were able to diagnosis very quickly and a new drum/bearing had to be ordered.  We paid for the part and the service call. The part came in quickly and they came back out on Wednesday.  They were unable to perform the repair as the nut could not be removed to replace the drum (not their fault.) They did refund price of the part and we had to purchase a new washer.  My complaint lies in the fact they charged us another service fee.  I feel that two service fees is poor practice when the repair was unable to be completed. I will not use again, I believe it was poor customer service, though I do recognize they do deserve to be compensated for their time.

    This review covers two routine visits--initial diagnosis visit and follow-up repair visit . GH scheduled diagnosis appointment responsively ( next day). Cost $70. Diagnosed malfunction. Part required ordering (at about $285). and arrived about 10 days later. Part availability took a bit (older washer) . Part arrived and they came to house and installed ($50 labor). Pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of the GH team. My washer is working well now. Cost is more than I wanted ( but isn't everything) but justifiable based on market, diagnosis, part ( control board) purchase and subsequent installation.  Both visits were schedule in a three hour window which was made both times.

    I will reuse GH for my future appliance work.

    I gave GH and "A" rating on the price since the "controllable costs" for diagnosis and subsequent repair labor seemed to be roughly industry standard. Parts cost was a pass along from manufacturer. They are VERY transparent and open about their charges and costs. No Bogus stuff.

    Note; Reps were dressed neatly in "typical" work clothes. No "uniforms"--casual appearance but neat and clean.
