Siding reviews in Woodbridge

Overall, The quality of the product and work was excellent. Where it did not go well is when the twice they had to stop work because they did not estimate enough product to complete the job. What should have been a 4-6 day job overall turned into a 4-5 week project, waiting for product to arrive and the house siding was already removed. Not good since we had some bad weather in between. But in the end, the did great work and the three crews (siding, roof and gutters) were great and knew their stuff. I definitely recommend Shiner for the best value, just make sure they order enough materials, especially when it is special order.

Great. Ed is super professional and very accommodating. He never missed an appointment and always kept me up to date on the schedule. He went above and beyond to assist me with satisfying my insurance company and mortgage company. He really knows what hes doing and is very educated on the ins and out of what he does. Because theyre a smaller company, they pay attention to detail and make sure you are satisfied. Prices are definitely fair and Ed is an honest guy, which you cant put a price on. I would highly recommend using this company.

Tim was an absolute Godsend to us! He responded within 15 minutes of our initial call and arranged for emergency service to put a tarp on our roof which was leaking into the bedroom and down into the basement. The weather was terrible and the rain was nonstop for days! Tim was the utmost professional, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step and the repair process. His employees were just as professional and attentive. The roof repair was completed on the day promised and the internal repairs were also repaired as scheduled. The workers cleaned up the property and house very well; there was no additional work left for us to clean up. The quality of Tim's work is 10+/10, we are extremely satisfied and grateful to have found him, especially since the roof repair was a result of the poor workmanship of another contractor. Tim also worked with our insurance company when the actual cost exceeded the initial insurance adjuster estimate, and as a result, our insurance company increased the estimate and paid the difference. Tim was highly recommended to us, and we are absolutely satisfied with his work and overall customer service. We wholeheartedly endorse Lakewood Home Builders, Inc as a superior contractor who can handle simple to extremely complex jobs, and truly believe you will be just as satisfied!

Excellent. Omar was very helpful as he came several times to be with the insurance inspector and went to bat for us when the adjuster missed some important elements of the damage. Truly above and beyond what we anticipated from the usual contractor. The work was on time and done correctly. We would only think of LHR for any future work of this nature. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I found Homfix because they were replacing the siding of my neighbor. My Senior Account Consultant, Chris Dobbin was awesome and was the difference between getting great service and outstanding service. He was professional and reaponsive throughout the entire process. There were hiccups along the way, but Chris was the rock that kept it all together. The new roof and siding look asweome and I am so pleased. I would use Chris again in the future for any work I need on my home.

Everything was great! Easy, fast, and free estimate. Didn't try to upsell or find add-ons while performing the job. Also It is hard to find companies that will perform small job repairs but RM Banning does. Definitely met my needs and will consider them for any future roofing or siding needs.

Wind storm had ripped siding off at roof peak on the side of my end unit town house, leaving attic open to elements. Rain was in forecast when I called Banning (I was referred to them by one of several other companies that did not have time for my small job). A company rep was out same day to cover opening with a tarp. I was able to schedule an estimate within 2 weeks and the job was scheduled and completed within 90 days with new siding that matched back of house and with impeccable cleanup.

I purchased a full trim wrap package as preventative maintenance on my new home. My wood trim was in good shape, but there is a ton of wood on the exterior of my house and I figured that getting it wrapped would give me some peace of mind. Paid cash for the project and had no trouble dealing with the office or my salesperson. When my appointment date came, a subcontractor arrived and began installation. The job was completed the same day. The crew managed to destroy about half of my front lawn (which has not really recovered), and put a scratch on my car, which I had moved to the curb to give the crew space. The quality of the work was atrocious. There are certain sections that are passable, but the majority of the project looks awful. There are large bulges on nearly all of the corner posts and most of the panels on the bay windows, and it has been getting worse over time. The finishing nails used to attach the panels seem to have been used completely at random - most of the bay window panels have 4-6 nails per panel, while one in particular has 14 nails and looks utterly terrible. A large amount of the caulking has separated, to the point where it's no longer something I can handle myself in a reasonable amount of time. High quality caulking should definitely last longer than year when applied correctly. Unfortunately, it looks like it was applied by a child in most areas. Naturally, this completely defeats the purpose of this job since moisture is able to get in pretty much everywhere. Worst of all, this summer, just a little over a year since I had the installation done, I have had a lot of humidity problems in my home. I decided to check the soffits to see if the fly-by-night crew that installed my trim had done the soffit fascias correctly. Turns out that they did not remove the existing vents or wood under the fascia, which was specified in the contract. So... now I have basically no attic ventilation due to the existing small vents having the vented vinyl fascia overlapping. I attempted to resolve many of these issues last year, but didn't have much luck with the one-man repair crew they have. I'm a single father of two young boys and at the time I was working two full-time jobs, so it was pretty tough to find an opening in my schedule. Whenever I did get in touch with him, his next appointment was always 2 weeks out and conflicted with something I had to do. The frustrating part was that he was always under the impression that he was only coming out to 'trim the patio doors', which the company had decided to throw in to make up for the issues I had. I explained multiple times that I had several issues that needed to be addressed, and yet I kept hearing the same thing, even after he had arrived one day and I explained it in person. I sent pictures of all of the issues to the company and even had my salesperson come by and see them in person. Things got pretty busy when my boys started school, so I didn't get a chance to follow up again until just recently. After discovering the unacceptable issue with the soffit fascias, I contacted Paramount two days ago through their website, and also attempted to call them. I didn't receive an email response, and did not receive a response to the voicemail message that I left. So here we are. Overall, I wish I had not had this project done at all. My home looks significantly worse than it did before the job was done, and I am very concerned about possible water/moisture damage due to the poor installation. The quality is so poor that I am considering hiring another contractor to simply remove all of it and repair the existing wood. Just take a look at the pictures... Now that I look at them, it's even worse than I thought.

Chris and Joe were great to work with. They kept us informed throughout the process and did exactly what they promissed. They kept on schedule even though we added two weeks of extra work to the intitial scope. We renovated the entire first floor to include removing the dining room wall and extending the kitchen into that space. We put in all new hard wood flooring through out. We completely renovated the fireplace in the family room. We added over thirty ceiling lights throughout. We opened the stairwell and added hard wood up the stairs to second floor. Lastly we moved the washer and dryer from our basement to the second floor (running all the ventilation, plumbing and electrical). Their employees were always punctual, professional, courteous and cleaned up at the end of each day. The work performed was expertly done. Ask for the crew with Bud & Abraham, they were on mine and the work was meticulous and awesome. The owner Chris, helped us make some difficult decisions throughout the process offering his design expertise. He knew what we wanted even though we couldnt quite articulate it. He guided us through the selection of paint colors, countertops and backsplash. The final product looks like it should be on HGTV or in a Magazine. My family and I are so appreciative of Chris and his company for making this project run smoothly and without any issues. We couldnt have asked for a better renovation experience. I can not give them a high enough score on this rating system. Without reservation or hesitation, Id give them 100% recommendation. Jeff P.

After a hail storm, my house was damaged to the tune of over $10,000. I called another contractor and was not happy with their lack of professionalism. I then called NVB and what a JOY to work with all of these wonderful people. I had roof damage to my home and shed, siding, gutters, etc... They did all of the work with in a timely manner and EVERYONE that I dealt with with professional, polite and a joy to work with. My home looked brand new after they were done. I was VERY pleased with all of the services rendered. I would happily hire them again!
