    Most Valuable Movers (M.V.M)
Oh, Mine!! Exceptionally PROFESSIONAL, Hardworking folks I can't believe it - on a HOT SUNNY DAY OF 90+ these movers did such an EXCELLENT job - that nothing broke.... Extremely patient movers. Keep in mind that my move was a very difficult one - I moved from a tiny townhouse with 18 steps leading to the top floor. Moving beds, mattresses, and bedroom furniture from the bedrooms was a major dreadful task - and the movers did it with such a relaxed manner as if it was nothing-burger! Thank you Mr. T - you're awesome and best to you always. I will use your service again in the next years to come. Be safe and be healthy to continue to do well with your exceptional customer service. Thanks for your help, Mr. T.

    K. Brooks Junk Removal LLC
Kyle was awesome, he was responsive via email and gave a great price for what I needed to be hauled away. I still had some usable items that needed to be donated and he offered to take it to Goodwill and send me the receipt. Kyle showed up on time and was very professional. I would definitely hire him again too bad I am moving out of the state.

    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
It went great. Cheaper than others, responded to all of my questions no matter the time, even communicated via text. Took some of the stress out of moving. Would definitely use again and refer to others.

    REGENCY MOVING & STORAGE LLC
I can't say enough about the crew Cliff sent from Regency. They came the day before the move to take care of the packing and were careful, yet efficient. Again on the day of the move the crew showed up on time and quickly loaded everything. My move was local so once the truck was loaded, they drove to my new location and began the process of unloading. The crew worked continuously until everything was in place to my satisfaction, not even stopping for lunch until the job was done.

    NOVA Express Movers
We have moved a lot (local and long-distance) in the past 15 years, and the crew--Lee (driver), Danis, and George--from Nova Express Movers was among the very best: extremely efficient, hard-working, prompt, courteous, and careful. From our first contact we were very pleased with the process of setting up the service, using the Angie's List coupon, and making the appointment (scheduling around several very rainy days, among other things). The driver communicated his whereabouts and likely arrival time, and continued this level of communication with us throughout the process--briefly reviewing the items that were to be transported, any special requirements and requests, and the details of our destination. The truck was exactly the right size for our stuff, and very clean. We were pleased that, after introductions, everyone got right to work loading the truck (and they worked as a cohesive team throughout). Our items did not require special care (no furniture or appliances), but we were confident that everything was carefully handled nonetheless. We requested special assistance unboxing our newly purchased adjustable bedframe and mattress in the space vacated by all of the items that were moved out, and they did so with great speed and efficiency--but still managed to unload everything with equal care, paying attention to how we wanted things organized in storage. Even better, not only did they adhere to the timeframe allocated in the Angie's List coupon, they finished a bit early! With all that, there were no extra charges, so the price was far lower than ANY of the other service providers from whom estimates were received. If (most likely--when) we move again, we're calling them for sure!

    Pro American Van Lines LLC
Upon looking for a mover in my area, I found Pro American and was originally impressed with their office staff. I had no hesitation booking with these folks. Price seemed right, their staff friendly and knowledgeable. I had 2 small storage units that I would be emptying. My items were already boxed and wrapped from my previous move not so long ago, so this seemed to be a pretty easy job. I presented my inventory list to the girl I was speaking with, including 2 large, heavy armoires, one bigger than the other. I stressed the fact that I had 1 flight of stairs and needed 1, possibly both of these heavy armoires moved to the bedrooms that were upstairs. I was reassured by her that that would be no problem. I was told this was all part of my quote and the 2 men she suggested for the job would be able to do that. I was fine with her answer but decided, on my own, before booking to add another man just so things would possibly move along smoother and end sooner with the help of the extra hands. I called back to book the move and spoke with a different girl this time, confirmed my inventory list again with her and just as before, nothing was said to me of any concern she may have with my items, so I set up the move. I had no problem at all with the extra and final price and had even prepared extra cash on hand to tip the guys. So moving day comes. I received a call early asking if I could change my time. No problem, I did that for them. The guys arrived and all was well until the crew leader decided that the last item they needed to load, the big armoire, was too heavy for them and he did not want to load it on the truck. Even stating he had no room on the truck and they could come back later and get it. But for now he wanted me to leave it at the storage unit. Wait just a minute. Did I not hire movers? My response was - I hired movers, didn't I? No I'm not leaving it! I would like you guys to move it now please. Begrudgingly, they rearranged a chair on the truck and miraculously space appeared. They moved the piece while explaining to me they were doing me a favor. They only move big pieces with 4 men not 3. On the way to my condo, I called their office and told them that the movers did not want to move the armoires, stating they were both too big and heavy and they needed 4 men. Mind you this is a 3 man team and both these armoires have been moved twice in the past few years by professional movers - 2 men teams each time! The office listened, did nothing and told me the manager would call me back, no one ever did. Arriving at my condo the crew leader asked if I had a garage before he even backed in to unload. I have a carport, not a garage, but I said yes. Little did I know what he was up to. Anyway, I then showed him my condo and gave him two points of entry they could use. One straight shot in to living room with a 3' wide opening, the other a side door with one turn. I was inside, and the crew leader came in from his truck. I told him that it was ok that the big armoire (71"Lx48"Hx27"W) could go on the wall in the living room instead of upstairs, not what I wanted but I gave in. I said however that I would still like the smaller one upstairs. That's when he began to tell me he was not taking either upstairs, they were too heavy and big and told me he was going to unload the large armoire into my carport, he would not bring it in. I could not believe this. Being in the furniture business, I've seen solid wood king bedrooms sets with hugh armoires and large dressers being delivered upstairs to customers daily by 2 men teams. I told him so. And I told him I did not want this armoire in the carport that it will fit perfectly with room to spare through the door and straight into the living room. His response was "No, I'm not gonna bring it in and I'll just unload everything else you have along with the armoire into the garage (carport). Then you can call them to come over and move it for you." My response - If you do, I'll see you in court! He stormed out saying I mentioned court and he wanted nothing more to do with me. I asked my son-in-law who was home to see if he could help defuse the situation. He did and told me that the mover said he would no longer deal with me. If I went upstairs, away from them, they would put the items in the house. I was totally offended and really pi****! I gave my son-in-law the money to pay, minus the tip and went upstairs. I came down 45 minutes later to see them gone and the job done, the smaller armoire not moved upstairs, and the dinning room table not assembled. All part of my quote. And guess where the larger armoire is, right - my carport. Well now, solid wood and humidity don't mix. As it sets outside, not secured and in a very humid carport. I am furious!!!!!!!!!!!!! About the call back from the manager - never happened !!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding service. From initial consultation to pack out, delivery and unpacking everything was outstanding. The day of the move, the movers treated every item as if it was their own. Highly recommend.

    Tiptop Movers
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! A NO SHOW ON MOVING DAY. I WAS LEFT STRANDED WITH NO HELP. I scheduled a move for noon on a Thursday. Text to confirm the day before and got a response that everything was good and they would arrive between 11 am and Noon. I rented the moving truck and had it ready by 10 am. They text me at noon saying they would be an hour late. Then at 1 pm they text and said they would be another hour late. I then text at 3 pm when they did not show up. I asked for a phone call and they would not call me back. I left several messages. 4 pm they text saying they would send someone as soon as they could but no time. I ended up having to load the truck myself and drive it to the new house. I asked them to please meet me at the new house to help me unload the truck. No response until 7 pm that night. He apologized saying the first job took longer than planned. He said they would come to the new house the next morning around 4 am to unload the truck. I agreed and said I would be waiting. got up at 4 am and no Tiptop movers and no text or phone call. They never returned any of my text or phone calls after that. Needless to say Moving is stressful enough without the moving company causing more stress. They are a fly by night company. Very unprofessional. Stay far away from this company. I used Tiptop movers before and they showed up very late but finally showed up. this time they never showed up.

    Potomac Moving Company
Excellent service!!! What a team!!! I used the coupon off Angie's List for three guys/four hours. They were early/punctual, well organized, careful in wrapping heirloom furniture and transporting. Nothing was left to chance/all special furniture was well padded and wrapped and then unwrapped all methodical and in good time. They were helpful in taking the furniture from my in-laws' house to mine and distributing on different levels of my house/unwrapped and even helped rearrange some of my existing heavy furniture to make way for the moved-in pieces. Saved me a lot of heavy work and exhaustion. Well worth a very reasonable price. I would use them again and highly recommend.
