    CORE Personal Training & Pilates Studio
    I have been training at CORE for nearly 3 years now.    The first thing to note is that it is a small, personalized place, where the trainers are REAL TRAINERS and not 22 year-old meat heads with no life experience at all.  The most important thing about CORE are is the staff. The trainers are experts in their areas,  truly listen to you and sincerely care about your health and well being.  The studio is clean, modern, inviting and warm, and Ruth, Dagmar, Shara, Chris and Colleen are sincere people.  The workouts are as intense as you need and want them to be, but the feeling of being heard and cared about is unequal to any gym in the area.  I can't see myself in any other gym, no matter the cheap cost.  Why risk your health?

    A lubricated belt on the motor was causing the problem.  I bought the treadmill used and Roberto fixed the problem and tested it for a extended time.  He was able to remove the lubricate from the belt which should have never been lubricated, saving me from the cost of a new belt and the thought of trashing the treadmill.

    I was familiar with Ruth and another trainer there Dagmar before going to the studio. They had worked in a gym I belonged to previously so I was certain that if I trained with either of them, that I would be in good hands. They and the new trainers that I met there did not disappoint.
    Each trainer has their own unique way of training, but each is highly skilled and pays attention to your individual needs. I have worked out in group and private sessions doing functional training, bootcamp, pilates and basic yoga.
    I think that CORE PT and Pilates is a gem of a studio and highly recommend it to everyone I know who is looking for a great place to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

    Quite possibly the most thorough appointment I have ever had. Dr. Kaye listed to my whole story, took copious notes, and asked questions. After a physical exam, he gave me a detailed explanation of my condition, what information he needed from laboratory tests, what each test would involve, and how to prepare. I spent over an hour with him--not just the time at the office, a full hour actually with the doctor himself.

    Great! I got some good tips for a better exercise program and a code for 30 days of a website that tells me what to eat (not very user friendly and takes a LOT of time to really get used to it). Sport&Health is a great gym, great location, clean space....I'm glad I joined.  Kinda pricey but at least I got a month free and no sign up fees so that does help.

    Well, I wanted to find out more about the gym.  Mike the Assistant Manager took me on a tour. Very nice.  Then, he told me to come back the following Monday or Tuesday and ask specifically for him because they had additional specials that only he knew about as the Assistant Manager.  In the meantime, he gave me a 7-day free pass.  So, on Monday morning I went to workout with my pass and the pass didn't work.  The front desk lady finally let me in.  I came back that night and was going to sign up provided they had a better deal.  I asked for Mike but he was "busy".  They wanted my pass and drivers license so I gave it to them.  I waited for Mike when Anthony came up.  I explained I wanted to talk to Mike.  Anthony "tried" to talk to Mike but he was still "busy".  Anthony said he mentioned to Mike that I was there but Mike said there were no more specials.  Anthony tried to get me a better deal but to no avail.  On my way out I asked to talk to Mike again but he was still "busy" but then I saw him eating a sandwhich and cutting up.  Ya, he was really busy.  Then I asked for my licnese and my free pass and they LOST everything! They finally found my license but not my free pass.  It was supposed to be good for 7 days.  Anthony gave me another free pass but when I came back the next morning the computer system said it was EXPIRED! Whatever! Now, the gym itself is AWESOME.  Amazing place to work out and nice clean showers and great equipment and HD TVs to watch during Cardio, etc.  Best gym I've ever been in; however, the staff is horrible and therefore i refuse to pay their outrageous prices.  I KNOW they can cut you deals too because if you work for certain companies they will give you better rate.  Regardless, nobody ever contacted me about coming back or asked what they could do to earn my business.

    Jim explained everything the bike needed and a clear price that didn't change on the final bill. Given the age and the amount of work needed to bring the bike back to life, he showed us a comparable new bike to make sure we didn't want to put good money after bad. We decided to do the repairs.
    The tech, Jake, did a great job and the bike feels like new. It was ready to ride and we were assured that if it didn't feel right, we could bring it back. Great service!

    I dislike their occasional fees for maintenance. The monthly rate is low at $20.
    I would like to see improved bathroom facilities. It seems they are always doing work/construction but have yet to address the bathrooms.
    I would also like to see kettle bells out in the gym for everyone to use.

    They are excellent. The woman who has been working with me is extremely knowledgeable. All appointments are kept on time. They're just really expert at what they do. They're friendly and helpful. There are no problems. There is no bureaucracy. They're just topnotch.

    I like them. My schedule doesn't support me using them anymore. It had nothing to do with their service. They were a good, clean facility. They had a good variety of classes. The time that I went in the morning, it was very short. There was never a wait for equipment, so I was very pleased with it. It had all the stuff I needed. They did a pretty good job. They kept upgrading. With regard to communication, they have a website and email. I never had problems with their customer service. I would use them again in the future if it fits my schedule; it just doesn't.
