    This is the first weight loss practice or medical institution that took this approach and it has been a winner for me.     I was extremely fatigued and depressed when a friend recommended Dr. Asad. I went to see her and She recommended a homeopathic remedy after a detailed case history. I have been on the remedy for about two months and I can say that I am 80-90% better. I no longer have crying spells and my mood has improved so much. I will keep going back to see her for this and all of my other health problems as well.     This has been a great experience and a valuable one; I already signed up for more personalized sessions to maintain the momentum and keep the accountability going.  Sandy listened closely, noted my challenges, maximized my strengths and began mapping out a plan to reach my goals (and she helped me think through my goal setting too).  She is encouraging and practical, polite and personable.  She interacted between sessions by email and clearly thought through her input. Her enthusiasm to help other people realize health and wellness goals in practical and truly fairly easy ways (yes, there is some discipline needed!) is admirable.  She taught me about adding the right foods and not getting caught up in counting, weighing, etc.  I have an aversion to "dieting" and Sandy's approach to total wellness makes sense, is practical and is effective.  She is passionate about helping people achieve results and is a great motivator and encourager!  Lastly, I truly appreciate her availability between sessions.

    I started going to Pinecrest Wellness Center in October after finding them through Angie's List. I am very pleased with Pinecrest with all the services Pinecrest Wellness Center offers. I have been receiving chiropractic treatment and rehab since October and I am making great progress. Earlier this month, I added in accupunture to quicken my recovery process. Bill Reddy (accupunturist) and Dr. Weinstein (Chiropractor) coordinate my treatment and work together to maximize my body's healing potential. After the holidays, we will start to address my nutritional concerns. They work with my budget and have set up a payment plan so I can receive treatment at a cost I can afford as health insurance does not cover the cost of the treatment.

    Sandy was very easy to talk to, and in both of our sessions she provided me with helpful information and tips. She provided written materials that were useful and asked good follow-up questions during our second session to keep me on track. She listened to my views and was non-judgmental. She asked me to fill out a short questionnaire before our first meeting and was very prepared to respond to my particular concerns and goals.I think she would be very helpful for someone who has broader nutritional goals that require some life changes.

    Brian is great trainer who really takes an interest in your goals. I am still actively training with him and would like to continue into the future as long as I can. I was looking for someone who could provide nutrition help as well as weight training. I was pleasantly surprised that he also does what is called "trigger point therapy" for when you get tight knots in your muscles (which happens a lot to me), after which I immediately feel relief. He really is a well-rounded trainer who seems to do everything. He's mostly on time and works with me at two locations (one in Gaithersburg and one in Rockville) to help me out depending on my schedule. He's also flexible with time and making up sessions, which helps me out because I often have to work late with last minute notice.  I really enjoy my training sessions. I do a combination of cardio and weight training with a heart rate monitor (had to purchase my own). He changes them up and provides new workouts every few weeks to keep it interesting and challenging. As for payments, he generally likes you to pay two sessions in advance and gives you a discounted rate if you sign up for an allotted amount. If you're going to do this, I highly recommend sticking with it for at least two months because you will gain a lot from him switching up the workouts.  My only minor critique is that he sometimes forgets what time you discussed meeting up (if you have to reschedule outside your normal time), but he's good about reaching back out to you to confirm. Just keep track for yourself. Overall, I would highly recommend Brian as a personal trainer.
