    Lake Ridge Auto Care
They did the job that I paid them for. Its just in the process of doing the work, the mechanic probably accidentally broke the part (the cable that control the latch ) because I cannot open the hood. They have not told me about that, I found it out my self. when i talk to them they said that the cable linked from the hood latch was old. I think it was just an excuse for them to not to cover the damage. It was also adding insult to injury. they said that I have to pay for the part they they broke. I don't want to pay for something that they broke.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. The price of getting the tire plugged because of a nail was pricier than expected but it looked like they use more advanced process and the repair would probably last longer. Not a long wait and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Perks: you get free coffee while you wait and a free car wash to be used within two weeks. Overall, very satisfied.

    HomeTowne Auto Repair & Tire
I was greeted by Emily (service manager) with a friendly disposition. She made my feel like I mattered, which is something I haven't seen in dealership garages since I first owned a car (40 years!) Emily's friendly greeting told me that I was in a place that wasn't just running a conveyor belt of customers through the shop. My being there mattered to them. The check-in was very easy because I made my appointment in advance and told them exactly what I wanted. After getting there, though, I realized that the maintenance monitor on my Honda Accord was telling me that they should also do a general inspection of everything else under the hood and underneath the frame, which she duly noted. I had told them that I had just purchased tires at another location and in order to maintain the warranty, I was required to get an alignment. I noted this on my bill, which tells me that they didn't ignore what I told them. Great customer service! I dropped the car off at eight and they gave me a ride back to my home by a friendly young man (I didn't catch his name, but he wears glasses and has worked for other area dealerships.) Emily called me 90 minutes later and said the car was ready. She dispatched the courtesy shuttle driver to my house and he arrived 15 minutes later. When I arrived back at HomeTowne Auto Repair, Emily was waiting for me behind the cash register. She explained a future maintenance recommendation, based on my mileage, rang-up my total, and I was out of there in minutes. Although I can easily read my bill, as a minor recommendation it may be an added touch to go over the service(s) performed with the customer before ringing-up the total. Again, very minor and Emily may have assumed that I looked smart enough to read on my own. To her credit, she did note that my steering wheel required slight straightening, which I don't remember anyone ever doing for any car I've owned. To top everything off, Emily placed my bill in a little sack, which was pre-handwritten with a thank you and a couple small candies in the bottom (see attached photo.) Although some people may feel this is irrelevant, I think it's a special personal touch that sets this place apart from other car repair places. I will definitely go back to HomeTowne Auto Repair and I will recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. Great job and please don't change that small town feel (or price!)

    Rainbow Auto Service
Tim Oh has been my family's mechanic since the late 1980s. He and his technicians are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and thorough. I don't know much about cars, but I appreciate that he explains what the parts are, their purpose, and why I need that service done in layman terms. If the service is a bit pricey for me, he will tell me if it is urgent or if it can wait and recommends how soon I should get it done. I've heard other customers say to each other in the waiting room that Rainbow Auto Service is not out to get your money, and that Tim Oh is a reasonable guy. He is resourceful of other auto service shops in the Northern Virginia area when he cannot do the work (ie. transmission problems). FYI: In the past couple years, his garage moved to 1010 B Cannon's Ct in Woodbridge. It's not far from the previous location. I will surely miss his business when I move to Fairfax County, but I will definitely ask for his recommendations for a mechanic close to my new home.

    Ted Britt Ford - Fairfax
Since I have a maintenance contract with Ford, the work went very well. Olivia, my service adviser, kept me informed for all the work that had to be done. Because I have the Ted Britt for Life capability, I was given a loaner car and was able to go about my business without a hitch. Due to the amount of work required, they worked on the car over night, and I was able to pick up the car the next morning.

I found them by driving by. It seems like a regular auto repair place, nothing sticks out. They have a place for you to sit. I was having all this other work done and my radiator was leaking and it didn't leak before and they said they couldn't tell if they did it or not. They put another radiator on at no charge.

    Steve's Auto Repair & Tire
Went well. They looked over vehicle, told me what they thought it needed. Then I chose to have them do some services and not others. No pressure. They didn't what I asked and everything has been fine since. Service included replacing brake rotors and pads, oil change, and some other things.

I have been using them for about 11 years and have always been very pleased with their service. The staff is friendly, fair, honest, and trustworthy; you don't feel like their trying to take advantage of you.

Well, when I arrived to pick up my truck and discovered that the new muffler was no longer visible from the side of the vehicle, it became immediately clear to me of just how "bad" of a job the previous installer had really done. (not supposed to be able to see the muffler hanging down from the side) Midas did an excellent job with this installation. I am very pleased with their work. And as far as the price...they beat everyone else in town. (and I shopped around too!!!) I found their customer service rep to be very courteous, informative and professional. Would I use them again? Absolutely. Would I recommend? Absolutely.
