AI have had both Wendy and Pam over the years help with paint, material, and furniture for our home, while residing in the Northern Neck area. They are more than excellent, totally in tune to the client and their taste. They do not charge for home visits, which most decorators do, which I was very happy about.
Since we have moved to another area, and I have had some bad experiences with decorators, many come to find out do not have the education that would qualify them as a professional Interior decorators, as well as not having the basic design concepts, Interior design 101.In the area I now reside, you take a chance, any decorating service, you pay up front, $75.00 to $100.00 per hour. The last person I had was so off the wall from my decorating style, I just walked away, after paying $140.00 for nothing.
In desperation I contacted Wendy and she was able to get me the same material for my chairs, and has been so willing to assist me with any requests or anything that I need. Unfortunately I now live three and a half hours from Kilmarnock, however if I need anything I will contact Wendy. Material was mailed to my home, quickly , just a very professional company.

Service was excellent, very professional, I think reasonable for their
services. I feel more comfortable with this company, as they have a store front and all the employees are trained and very helpful. I had another decorator, which I considered fair. The decorator Pam at Final Yard, has the experience and education, and works with you and your style rather than impose her style on you.
I have not used Pam as yet, when I stopped by the store she was out, but I am sure if she is like the rest of the staff I will be more than pleased.
P.S. In addition to measuring, for the window treatment, they also install, as well as make the drapes, basically they will do whatever you request.

BThere was some mis-communication regarding the drapery rods, however she did everything to correct the problem. Unlike other interior decorators I have used over the years, most had store fronts and provided more choices in fabric samples, rug samples etc. ,
and offered a detailed floor drawing of furniture placement etc.( she does not). As she does not have a store front, she shops for the fabrics etc, and is paid hourly. She brought by one piece of fabric for the drapes, two pieces of fabric for the pillows two pieces of fabric for the chairs, although I did not have a range of fabrics to select from, they all came together and it worked out fairly well.
Now, that I have a clear understanding of services she provides, I would enlist her services again.

AGood experience, my only advice would be don't be afraid to speak up and tell her if you don't like something. Be open with her in telling her what you want.

AShe helped me do some decorating on a very short notice and did a really nice job. She was very good at looking at what I had and coming up with a design and material that worked for me.- Paul B.
