  • I made an appointment for my twin daughters the lady on the phone repeated both names at the end. Once I got there they had one of my daughters in their system twice. They took their insurance cards 5 times before the appointment was over and then ensured me that the issue was fix. I took them in for an ADHD evaluation and the doctor did a physical and then told me that doctors don’t handle ADHD issues teachers do and I have talked to their teachers and they said the doctor handles it and gives us paperwork for them to fill out but it’s the doctors job. This place only wanted the money and can careless about treating you. A couple weeks after the appointment I received a bill for the kid that wasn’t in the system but was told they fixed the problem enforce I had left. I had to calling the billing department and once again give insurance information. I would never take my family here ever again!

  • Dr Crowe was quite willing to listen to symptoms, etc and discuss possibilities, but at the end of maybe six months I had not learned anything at all and had no relief of symptoms. At that point he encouraged me then to try a drug to help the pain and weakness although it would not address the root cause of the problems. Unfortunately taking it resulted in permanent, invasive, tinnitus/ringing in the ears which now still dominates and controls my life 10 months after the treatment ended. Dr Crowe was not even aware this side effect could occur. I cannot sleep without drugs and have great difficulty concentrating at work and have been given no real hope of it improving. Interestingly although it turns out that this is a probably a neurological problem rather than being related to the actual ears he quickly dismissed himself from my care when it occurred concluding that it was not within the purview of neurology. Regardless, I am far worse off now than before I came in for treatment.

  • I have been treating with Dr. McKelway for over a decade. He is thorough, kind and attentive. He fully evaluated my conditions and offered treatment options. He will not simply offer "a pill and a bill" ...so, if that is what you are looking for, you should look elsewhere. He looks at the whole patient. When medication is necessary, he monitors how it works, including lab work if needed to avoid complications and to maximize result. As your condition, situation or medical status changes, he works to revise your treatment plan. At each step, he made certain I was in agreement and actively involved in treatment decisions. Maintaining mental health is an ongoing process, and for it to work, it requires the patient to honestly participate and work with the doctor. You get what you put in. He listens, he cares, and then he acts--- in that order. As a result, I trust him unconditionally and recommend him without reservation.

  • I saw this provider because I needed help with getting medication I can tolerate. So far, the medication prescribed for me is working very well. While I do like this provider and her staff very much because of their concern and compassion for their patients, it would be nice if there were more convenient daytime hours available to reach them. With regard to payment for services received, it would be much appreciated and helpful if they were set up to take credit card payments. I have been told that this is something they are currently working on, which I am glad to hear. Other than the issues mentioned above, I am very satisfied with the care I have so far received, and look forward to receiving services from this provider and her staff.

  • On this occasion, I woke up with a fever, chills, vomiting, and could not get out of bed. My husband called the office to tell them I needed to reschedule. He left a voice message because they rarely answer calls. The admin person called my cell phone asking me to do a phone appointment that morning. I was in bed very sick so I did not get this message until much later. When I called the office several times no one returned my call. I then received a letter that was mailed the day of my appointment stating that I owed $100 for a missed appointment and that I should basically look elsewhere for further services. Seriously? This is how you treat your patients who are seeking mental health treatment? And this was not the first time I had to deal with the communication issues. It's very difficult to talk to someone. After calling for an entire morning I finally got thru today. Upon getting nowhere with the admin who just kept saying this was policy, I asked to speak with Dr. McKelway and was told that wasnt goning to happen unless i pay my fee and schedule an appointment. He would not call me back. Thankfully I am stable mentally and was only needing minor help from this doctor during and after pregnancy. His service was mediocre at best so I needed to find a better provider anyway. It shouldn't be this hard to get a little Zoloft :-) I do not recommend Dr. Mckelway period

  • Dr. Capone did not listen. I do not recommend him to anyone. He prescribed a medication that made my condition worse. My condition got better when I took myself off the medication. He told me my condition was in my head. He sent me to AVE for testing. They confirmed Dr. Capone was wrong. In the long run he did help me by sending me for testing. He is awful.

  • I wanted my son to talk with Dr. Mayfield about handling his emotions in an appropriate way.  The doctor definitely helped us. I would use him all the time if it was free.  I think we got what we needed.  It's fairly easy to get an appointment, and the doctor was always on time.  He was very calm and quiet.

  • I use them regularly like once in 6 months.  My experience with them is good.  They are very personable.  Their punctuality is good.  They perform appropriate tests.  They have a lot of experience.  I would use them again in the future.

  • Their psychiatrists were very friendly and personable.  He was clean.  Their wait time was kind of long.
