AJW Home ImprovementJosh came to provide an appraisal and he quickly understood what needed to be done and provided a solution. Jose came out quickly and widened the opening so we could get our furnace serviced and our heat turned on. Jose returned and within 4 hours had the electrical outlet moved, new framing complete and painted, floor tile replaced, and new doors installed. I am very impressed with the service provided by JW and will contact them again for any needed repairs.- Debbie W.

DJembler came out to my house to give me an estimate for work to be performed. I purchased all the materials and had everything prepped for installation. Jembler missed two scheduled appointments after I called to verify they were coming. The worst part is I took off of work to be there for the install. Two days missed from work, I was not happy. My wife called to speak with the owner and he hung up on her. I would not recommend Jembler Carpentry.

AWork was timely and of high quality. The project manager and owner were readily available, and work proceeded from one stage to the other smoothly. They suggested several changes that were real improvements over the original architect's design. They also quickly returned after project was done and bills paid to fix a minor issue with the drain. Very efficient at working with Arlington permitting system. Project was about $100,000.

AThe Contractors did an outstanding job and took only three days! We had some special request - glass doors for the shelves of cookbooks, a pullout garbage can, and cutting an opening to create shelves in trapped space under a counter - and they all came out great. Also incredibly reasonable and a lot less than Home Depot and others. If you are in the DC area and are thinking about refacing cabinets, let me now and I'll messenger you pictures.

AOmar and his crew did an incredible job working on our old 1960's house! The painting went great, the crew worked efficiently and effectively to clean up all of the chipping paint, redoing caulk, etc. There was quite a bit of trim that needed to be replaced all over the house, more than we originally had anticipated. This didn't phase Omar and his crew and he addressed all the required repairs quickly, leaving it better than when we started. We had vaguely described an idea for an entryway trim frame, and he pulled all the stops and made something better than we could have asked for. All the small additional work that he did to make the final fits and finishes to the job were very appreciated, from installing door hardware for us, light fixtures, and even suggesting power washing of our concrete surfaces (they needed it badly...). Their quote, and the additions due to the unexpected materials and work, were very reasonable and lower than every other quote we received. We were blown away at how Omar and his crew revitalized our house, and will be recommending S&S to our friends and family for any external painting or remodeling work.
