    Wheeler Brothers LLC
Excellent. Very professional, neat, clean and polite and reasonably priced . Exactly what I expected a Veteran to be! Ive already hired him to do some additional work! I trust him and know he will do a good job.

BEWARE! My daughter took her car to Impact Auto for a state inspection. She got a call two hours later telling her she would need front brake pads, new rotors, both front sway bar links and by the way the oil is dirty and needs to be changed. The oil part made me think since we changed it and the filter only 60 days prior. Total cost $550.00. We decided to go to the shop and see what Impact Auto was talking about. Upon arrival we met with the owners daughter and asked to see the parts needing replacement. She was very polite and said sure and took us to the vehicle. First thing I looked at was the rotor. Smooth with no cuts or gouges and when I said there was nothing wrong with the rotor she told me they only recommended we replace the rotors. Now lets look at the oil. Pulled dip stick and oil on stick was clean and like new. At this point asked why they were checking oil for a state inspection and was told they were a full-service repair facility and proactive when it came to their customers. I then question the cost of all the repairs and was told maybe I would be better off going to another repair facility. At this point red flags go off in my head and I immediately agreed with her. As I walked out of the shop I mention I hope nothing is done to the car to revenge our debate as to the necessary repairs and costs. Now comes the most troubling part of the story. We get the car home and decide to do the repairs ourselves. Total cost of parts $83.00 for brake pads, rotors and sway bar links. While removing the wheel lugs on the wheel they had removed during the inspection, one lug would not loosen. After repeated attempts to remove the lug nut if finally broke and there is the revenge part of the story. For those of you who dont know, it is very easy and a known trick for dishonest repair facilities to cross thread the lug nut with an air impact gun when replacing the wheel. Well they sure showed us, off course this is only speculation on our part BUT go figure. I went on with the necessary repairs and found that the rotors were okay, and the sway bar links were also okay. One brake pad was out of specs out of the two on the wheel removed but they were not metal on metal as my daughter was told on the phone. In addition, the pads on the opposite side were less than 20% worn. Giving them the benefit of doubt I too would have replaced all the frond pads regardless. So, the moral of the story is be careful to look at customer reviews when you select a service repair facility. I looked at Impacts reviews and they looked pretty good. They sure fooled us! BEWARE! Hopefully this review will help someone. I am not sure yet, but I figure the lug nut trick will cost my daughter around $150.00 to $200.00 to repair.

They have a pattern of "finding" additional work that needs to be done and then charging you after they've taken your car apart and you have no choice. I thought it was just me till I was left in the waiting room one day for five hours when everyone went to lunch (literally) and I could hear what everyone else was being told about their cars. I will never go back there again.

Car sat outside all day when I call they told me the NAPA kit I purchased mechanic said was not going to work no notification to me. NAPA responded by saying they have had no issues with that kit. Waste of a day. Took truck to dealer instead

I've been using them since I moved here 5 years ago.  There have been many many service calls for routine maintenance and repairs.

New Fords have a system on them called Sync. It's an electronic system that has a map and entertainment and a bunch of things. They're not good at that at all. I'm disappointed with them on that. They don't have a qualified technician who's expert. It's complicated and a regular electrician is lost trying to do it.

It took about an hour. The waiting area was very clean and spacious. It was as good as I've ever seen. They were courteous, professional and good natured. They don't offer a car wash but I guess they would if I asked for it. It's not part of the routine service and they don't ask if I want it.

I usually go to Impact Automotive to have my cars inspected and minor work. I recently had some work done to my 4Runner (aftermarket exhaust) and they did a great job. They had no issue performing the quality install even though I brought my own parts. They did an awesome job and they are always friendly.

There were a few days before he could take my car to look at it, but I decided to wait and take it to him anyway. I'm glad I did. It was easy to drop my car off and he checked it out and discussed the issue with me promptly.

Their price is average. I am an ex-Ford power train engineer and they have tried to take advantage of me and my wife a couple of times. They told me eight years ago that I needed a new AC compressor on my 2001 Lincoln Atlas. That the same compressor is still working just fine today. I run diagnostics on it myself and it did not need anything. I basically sat in the general manager’s office and basically said that they were taking advantage of people because 99% of the people would say go ahead and do it. I use them because I do not want to get rid of used oil item. I am perfectly capable of changing my oil, but I just do not like dealing with used oil. They do a quick change. Their responsiveness is pretty good most of the time. If you have an appointment, they are punctual. I use the quick change thing. I would use them again just because it is easy.

ITook my 2015 camaro here with only 2,000 miles on it to get a flat repair. As I was walking away from dropping the car off the service writer says if we can fix it. Later they call me to tell me the tire is not repairable and I will need a new tire. This struck me as odd seeing as the tires on the car are 14" wide. So I decided to take it back to the Chevrolet dealer on 2nd street they showed me that the hole in the tire was in the middle of the tread so they patched it for 20.00 vs the several hundred dollars these crooks wanted. I would just say tourist and local alike be warned these people aren't honest!

    Peninsula Mobile Auto Repair
All repairs were completed as promised and on time. The car ran very well following the repairs, and Chris was helpful in making recommendations for ways to keep the car running smoothly and avoiding the type of problems I'd created by letting the car sit idle for so long. I definitely plan to use Penninsula Mobile again and have recommended them to friends.
