    Sears Appliance Repair
Timely appointment. However, was told on the phone when making the appt, that the $99 diagnostic fee would be applied as a credit toward the labor/parts. I called 2 different times, each time told the same thing. Except when the service was provided, the diagnostic fee was billed separately, in addition to the part and labor. Expensive labor for a less than 1 hour job. Definitely feel taken.

I received a call almost immediately after giving my information on Angie's List. They arrived at the appointed time, found the problem. The part was ordered and, when it arrived, they were again prompt and my refrigerator is once again working! Friendly and reliable, will most definitely use again! Highly recommend!!

    Way Cool Appliance Repair LLC
I would most definitely recommend this business. Our dishwasher broke a while ago and we thought it was the pump that had went out, but soon realized we didn't have the knowledge to replace it ourselves. This is the first time we've needed to hire for appliance repair so we picked a business that had good reviews here. Made an appointment to have it looked at and the individual who ended up coming was the business owner himself. He was very professional and agreed that it was the water pump that needed to be replaced. He ordered a replacement right then and there, and we paid the approx $375 up front that included diagnostics, $100 pump, labor for the installation, tax, etc. It was a little pricey, but he promised that the pump would arrive very quickly directly to our address, which it did. We called as soon as it arrived which took about 2-3 days. They made the appointment for the very next day to do the replacement. There was apparently an issue with the individual who was scheduled where they didn't have our appointment on their schedule, so we ended up needing to reschedule. The owner was the one who ended up coming again for the rescheduled time. He was prompt and installed quickly. However, when we tried the pump later that day it made a horrible grinding sound. We contacted them and they said that the owner would come out again to check the pump as soon as possible. Made an appointment a few days later and he thought that the pump that was shipped to him was defective, as he'd never heard one make that sound before that was brand new. He ordered another new one which arrived in 2 business days even though he said it might take longer (good surprise!). It ended up arriving on the day before Thanksgiving, so we didn't expect them to come to install during the holidays. That's fine! Everyone should be at home with their families :) Called that saturday and told them the pump was in and they made an appointment for the install of the replacement the very next day. Again, very good availability. The new replacement pump was installed, but he realized that the metal clamp that came with the pump was of poor quality and was causing the pump to leak. He drove to a nearby hardware store to buy a better clamp. Came back, installed the new pump, and it worked perfectly!! He stayed for a bit to make sure it didn't sound as horrible as before and it sounded fine. Everything seemed to be working great. We're a young couple who just bought this house a little over a year ago. Almost $400 is a lot of money when you can sometimes buy a new dishwasher (although of lesser quality) for around that amount. We were very afraid that with this whole defective pump ordeal would cost us even more, but Way Cool didn't charge us anything extra. They were EXTREMELY professional and apologetic of the circumstances. We appreciate them working with us so so much. Thank you so much for helping us out and I hope this review helps some people! P.S. - included a cute picture of our cat, Peter, watching over him while he finished the replacement pump installation tonight!

    Briggs Appliance
The icemaker on our refrigerator was leaking and Briggs Appliance was sent out to diagnose and fix the problem. After the initial visit they said a part needed to be ordered and our warranty company needed to approve the fix. While waiting for a call from Briggs to schedule the fix (almost 2 weeks), we noticed that our wood floor was becoming discolored. I moved the refrigerator and found that the tech had left the water to the fridge on and there was a large puddle as a result of continued leakage. When I confronted the tech, he first accused me of turning the water back on myself, and then said that they never touched the water supply and that he was told that I had shut it off. He then refused to fix the fridge and left. The company now refuses to call me back, even though I've verified with the home warranty company that Briggs is responsible for the damage. I would never use this company again, and have already stopped several neighbors and friends from using them.

What is the measure of an honest man? Hearing the symptoms of my washing machine, asking a few questions and saying that it would be better to buy a new machine than to look for a repair.... before coming out. I will use this person because I trust him to do the right thing.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Service man could not get the machine to indicate a error code. He told us he could not repair the washer unless he received an error code and did not have the time to wait because he had other customers that day. Charged me $99.00 to only test the washer without even trying to replace the door lock as requested.

Tru Blue Appliance Repair & Service
Mike arrived, did diagnostics on our machine and stated it needed a new part. Part was ordered and he came back a second day, changed out the part, performed diagnostics again and ran a wash cycle. Machine operated normally.

    Sears Appliance Repair
My experience with them was good. They even had the part in the tuck which is even better. I paid $70 for the service and about $55 or $60 for the part. You cannot even get a service guy out for less than $100. Their responsiveness was very good. It was a next day service. They gave me an hour window and he was within five minutes of the beginning time. He was in uniform and in a professional truck. He was very professional. I highly recommend him.

Highly professional service. Both men were knowledgable, neat & efficient in everything they did. The even took photos of the electrical connections they disconnected so they could replace then correctly when they put the dryer back together.

Extremely professional-- they answered my questions and made sure that all that I had requested was done and that I was fully satisfied   The fact that they put covers on their shoes to protect my floors also impressed me.
