    Comber Physical Therapy
This place is very unprofessional when it comes to integrity and accountability. My husband was a patient from 1-9-18 until 2-20-18 (3 times a week). Midway through his therapy he was informed that his co-pay has gone up from 12.00 a visit to 30.00 a visit (from 36.00 a week to 90.00 a week). When they informed him of this, he immediately told them that; "this day would be his last visit." They came back and said that they had talked to our insurance company and they would honor the 12.00 copay until the end of his original contract. With that being said; he agreed to continue going, paying the 12.00 copay. It wasn't until the end of his treatment that they came back and said that he owed the remainder of the bill at the 30.00 a visit. We have gone back and forth with Comber and the insurance company, getting the run around. After the insurance company's investigation; it was found that the insurance company never agreed to the 12 copay and now we are being hit with a 336.00 bill. Had they just been honest from the beginning, and said that it would be 30 dollar copay, my husband would have went elsewhere. He is a US Army Disabled Veteran and he could have went on post with no copay. The ONLY reason why we chose Comber is because they could see him sooner, and we were okay with the 12 copay (NOT the 30 copay). Now they have amnesia about the whole thing and regardless of what they told him, (they say) "he should have called the insurance company himself" (REALLY??!!!). So, your integrity and accountability is that unreliable that we have to go back and check that you are telling us the TRUTH??? UNACCEPTABLE!!! It would cost us more in lawyer fees and court fees to fight this than the actual bill and they know this. That's why they have the attitude of; regardless of what we told you, you still owe the money. PLEASE BEWARE AND DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!

    Williamsburg Neck and Back Center
Dr. Roth is very nice. There is one friendly receptionist that I have seen once, but the receptionist who is usually there during my visits is very cold. However, she is not an important part of my visit, and Dr. Roth and the rest of his staff make up for the chill I receive when I enter the waiting area so this does not keep me from returning.

    Performance Chiropractic
Life Changing!! Dr. Shaye and his staff are amazing. He really takes the time to go through your concerns and plans out a plan to get you well. He recommended having massage therapy before my spinal manipulation to loosen the muscles and ensure the treatments last longer. After a week I could feel the difference and I can see myself feeling so much better and I am on the road to maintaining a healthier life. Hour long massages are $85.00 Spinal Manipulations are $50 and therapeutic exercises $30. They had me on the road to recovery within 6 weeks amazing!!

    Wilding, Dr. Adam L.
I see the provider anywhere from once a month to once a week depending on my needs. The provider helps my lower back pain and is helping me avoid surgery. He is very friendly and professional and has a great bedside manner.

    Pinto Chiropractic and Rehabilitation
Pinto Chiropractic is a wonderful office - everyone is friendly and they listen to you each time you go in, treating you both for your current issues plus your long-term ones. The doctors know exactly what they're doing and they accommodate all concerns and preferences.  The physical therapy, adjustments, and therapeutic massage have all brought about a marked improvement in my pain and neck issues. An added bonus was that I continued to receive treatment while pregnant, which was so helpful -- they modified the massage and adjustment procedures to help me feel better while protecting the baby.
I always feel so much better after a visit.  Sore, sometimes, but always better. Tingling and numbness issues have completely resolved.

    Massage Envy Spa - Williamsburg
The facility is located in a store front on Main St. In Williamsburg New Town. When I entered there was a counter with a receptionist area and a wall of products for sale and a seating area to the side. Another gentleman in the seating was there speaking with a Massage Envy employee. My receptionist brought me a cup of water and sat to talk with me. She asked what I wanted to accomplish that day and explained the process. She was pleasant. I was then taken through a closed door to their relaxation room to wait for my assigned therapist. The room was darkened with soothing music and pictures of the ocean were displayed on a big screen tv. Ashley came into the room and introduced herself as my therapist. She guided me to a darkened small room and explained the layout. She left while I disrobed and got onto the table. She came in and asked a few questions regarding my health and problem areas. She explained that the massage would last about 45-50 minutes to allow time for undressing and dressing as well as discussion first. She was very proficient and gave an excellent massage. We didn't talk very much which was my choice. She immediately reacted when I told her she was too rough on my sore shoulder. At the conclusion she recommended that I come in twice a month once she understood my situation. I then went out to the front desk to pay which was the introductory price of $49. The cashier then tried to upsell me to an annual contract. She didn't know her product very well and couldn't explain many items to my satisfaction. I declined. The experience was better than some that I've had at several very expensive spa resorts. I didn't feel like I was in a shopping area. Several month later when my daughter was visiting we went back because she wanted to buy me a contract as a gift. The owner was there that day and gave us a personal tour. There is really no advantage to purchasing a twelve month contract over a three month one. We opted for the three month one in case my circumstances or their service change. if I want to continue I will buy another three month contract.

    Ruescher, Dr. Pamela
Had never visited a chiropractor before so was a little uneasy but decided to try since she had just opened a new practice right in my neighborhood. Was able to get an immediate appointment. Pam did an assessment and said that my back was out of alignment. I voiced my concerns and was afraid of possible injury due to alignment. She was very pleasant and personable and caring. She did the initial assessment in her private office for free but then during the exam said that from that point forward, she would have to charge. She then took me to another large room that was open that was her reception area, exercise area and three separate table treatment area. There is really no privacy. She used a type of impact gun along my spine. Sometimes it was painful, but not excessive. She said that I needed to be seen at least three times per week. I gave my insurance information , but she wanted immediate payment of 20%. I did this for several visits. After later discussions with my insurance, I learned that I had been overpaying since the and quot;usual and customaryand quot; fees assessed by the insurance company were significantly lower than what I was being charged during my visits. I also learned that my insurance only covered a fixed number of visits per year with a chiropractor so I stopped going when I maxed out. I have yet to receive any bill or accounting from their office. I later learned that each exercise and use of different equipment was an add-on charge. This was never mentioned to me at the time. Almost always, it was the receptionist sitting at the desk across the room who was monitoring my exercises and use of the stimulus table and back roller table and not the doctor. That bothered me some. My back did improve. I have no other experience with which to compare, so don't know if my visits were common practice with chiropractors.

Great. My pain is a result of spinal stenosis and post op neck surgery. He listened to my complaints and gave me feedback which is a real gift in a provider. We discussed his treatment approach which included trigger point application and soft tissue massage to my painful areas described above. I found his treatment to be very effective and gentle. There was no body manipulation which is not applicable in my case. We then reviewed a treatment plan and my expectations for reducing my pain for greater mobility. He stressed the importance of straight posture as the basic tool for proper standing, walking, sitting, bending and overall movement. We then reviewed some basic home exercises that might be helpful to me. I've found his advice very helpful. My improper posture was never addressed by other chiropractors I've seen. Since I've been applying his advice for better posture my back doesn't ache nearly as badly. I really look forward to my treatments and his constant kind encouragement.
