Siding reviews in Warrenton

    Tom Hanger Home Improvement
The work was for a new home for Spiritual Care Support Ministries in Warrenton, Va across from the tennis club on Airlie Rd and the outside of the building is beautiful now. They used quality products and did quality workmanship. Rick is very good at making color recommendations, and everyone who sees the building says they love the siding/shutter colors.

    Kevin's Home Care and Repair
Originally sought to just have some drywall patch and repair work done by Kevin, which, he did an exceptional job on WITHOUT filling the house full of drywall dust! Anyway, after speaking with Kevin, reading his reviews, and seeing other work he has done, to include some major construction projects, renovations, additions, and custom detail carpentry work, I had confirmed that he was licensed and fully insured and had him quote for some other major work outside around the garage (rotted trim - to be replaced with PVC Board). Kevin was a consummate professional, a very polite gentleman, took great pride in his workmanship, and constantly sought to reassure us that the work would be done and done right! This became critical, when after removing the trim boards around the garage, we found the front of the home (Built by SONA) was not properly wrapped, flashed, sealed, caulked, and rain water has just been draining behind the siding for years, causing MAJOR rot to the structural beam above the garage. There was only about 1/4" of the 12"x4"x20' beam remaining that was not completely rotted through in the center. Kevin immediately showed us the critical nature of the issue and built temp support braces to sure up the beam until he could get a new one ordered and installed. He clearly knew what he was doing and knows current building code and building practices. We had him pull the entire front of the house off and do it all right! The house will be standing long after I've departed this Earth now! The beam issue added substantially to my overall cost, but I feel that he charged a fair and appropriate amount for such a major issue and it was a lot of work to build temp support structures across the front of house until the beam could be cut out and replaced. He could have taken advantage of us under the circumstances, but he didn't. A rare honest professional who takes great pride in his workmanship. I will absolutely use Kevin again and recommend him enthusiastically.

    Performance Home Improvement
Performance and Ed Brown were the absolute best. They met every expectation I had and always followed up. His companies attention to detail and Eds knowledge of dealing with insurance claims was invaluable. I highly recommend them and have already done so numerous times. If you want a company that still delivers on quality work and customer service, then look no further.

    Vinyl Lite Window Factory
We recently had a BAD EXPERIENCE with VINYL-LITE WINDOWS honoring a contract they signed to perform work on our house. On March 13, 2018, we signed a contract with Vinyl-Lite to perform capping work in the amount of $1,380. A $276 deposit was made as required by the contract. On April 24, 2018, after more than a month of not hearing from anyone from Vinyl-Lite regarding the scheduling of the work, I emailed the sales agent to inquire as to the status of the job. He emailed me a response stating that he left me a voicemail message 3 weeks ago and that Vinyl-Lite was not going to honor the contract because the job was too far and too small. This was the first notice we received from Vinyl-Lite that they were not going to honor the contract. In addition, no one from Vinyl-Lite contacted us regarding the refund of our $276 deposit. (Vinyl-Lite finally refunded our deposit on April 25th after I requested a refund). I made numerous attempts to contact the sales agent by phone, text and email to discuss the situation but he never got back to me. There was no effort by Vinyl-Lite to offer any remedy to the situation. Also on April 24th, I talked to a Vinyl-Lite manager. He was very condescending, rude and disrespectful when I said Vinyl-Lite had a signed contract to perform the work at an agreed price and that they should honor their agreement. The manager tried to tell me that the terms and conditions of the contract provided Vinyl-Lite a right to cancel - while there are terms in the contract for a 3 day right-to-cancel by the purchaser, there are no such terms providing Vinyl-Lite a right to cancel. When I asked the manager where such terms could be found, he merely replied that he was not going to honor the contract because he would not make any money on the job On April 25th, we emailed a letter to the owner of Vinyl-Lite explaining what had happened. We asked him to reply to our concerns. To date, we have not heard anything from the owner of Vinyl-Lite Windows. Needless to say, this experience has soured our interest in doing any future business with Vinyl-Lite. They are MISSING OUT on THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of future work with us.

    Brennan's Roofing & Exteriors
We just had brennan roofing assist us with hail damage claim for our roof. We had a shady storm chaser come tell us we had hail damage, not feeling comfortable we reached out to Pat Brennan. He came over and inspected our roof, agree'd we had hail damage. We setup a time for our insurance to come over to look at it for the claim. Pat made sure he was there to assist anyway possible, evening setting up a ladder for the inspector. From day 1, his professionalism was incredible! His pricing was great and you don't get that feeling he was trying to get every penny out of us. I can't even begin to list every little detail he was attentive to, but I'm beyond happy with our new roof. It looks incredible! Im so glad we opted to get the Architectural shingles vs the three tab shingle, it just gives the roof a million dollar look! If you are in the market for a roof, save your time calling around. Theres something about good ol' local boys taking care of business chasing the American dream! 1 Comment

    Tom Hanger Home Improvement
The team was professional and efficient.
They removed the siding in that area to find the problem. There was no flashing, which they had to make and install above the 2  windows. Then they reinstalled the siding and caulked.
Previously had them replace 10 windows in 2014.  They are great windows and have a great warranty.
The owner is friendly and very personable.
He is very busy and it may take a while for him to call you back.  The company has excellent reviews and a good reputation.

    Peak Roofing Contractors Inc
Bud came out and provided an estimate, they were recommended by my local general contractor (also a neighbor) who said they could fix my specific issue and did good work.

They were scheduled for May 4th but called on May 1st to see if they could come out earlier - happy to do so since painters were coming on May 4th.

They installed the new siding pieces, sprayed all areas for ants and sealed the gaps with pretty white trim (husband had tried with gray caulk - so ugly!).  The work was professional, quality and done quickly.

My front porch now looks so much better and cleaner - great work!

Would use them again for siding issues.

    Colonial Remodeling LLC
Colonial Remodeling knocked on my door after the hail storm this year, and offered a free estimate for siding replacement. Their service was great, incredibly friendly, they even signed for some packages for UPS while i was out! I highly recommend these skilled remodelers if you've ever experienced the misfortune of storm damage or seek to add a new aesthetic pleasure to your house.

Colonial Remodeling did a fantastic job redoing the siding on my home. After 20 years of weathering, the siding needed replacing. I found Chas at a remodeling show and 3 weeks later I have a house that looks brand new. I can't believe how fast and professional these guys are.

Chaz and the people with Colonial Remodeling did a fantastic job replacing the siding on my house. My home looks brand new! I can't believe they did such a great job in so little time.
