    Saffran, Dr. Barry
Dr. Saffran is the world's Worst, The SLOPPYEST 'surgeon' on all of God's green earth. He butchered my foot. I Said, HE . BUTCHERED . MY . FOOT!!! What should have been a simple operation (he said, "he's done Hundreds"- with an 'S'. That's "Hundreds" with an 's'! ) turned out to be, and has been an ENDLESS NIGHTMARE going on 2 years now. ... And to add insult to INJURY the Flakey Clown wants to insist he did a good job!? ... I will tell you this, Dr. Saffran is first and foremost a 'shameless politician', much more so than an actual competent doctor or skillful surgeon as one would expect. DON'T GET FOOLED! .. GOOD LUCK if you get tangled into his web; after he takes his scalpel to you it'll be Too Late. Then months later, he'll be 'GLAD' to tell you (with a grin on his face) that's your problem not his. And That's EXACTLY what you'll be dealing with, good ole 'Barry' Saffran. ... if I can help warn at least just one innocent 'unsuspecting' soul of avoiding such a miserable PAINFUL fate such as that, then this comment was well worth it. ..... UPDATE - Not even 10 hours after the above comment was posted (with the ink still wet, so-to-speak) I received a call from the 'keenly-aware', self-preserving, skilled and practiced 'Shameless Politician' none other than the slick 'Barry' Saffran. His main intention was to 'shmooze' me so I would remove the comment (though he denied that). But still I made an effort to hear him out and believe him. But as to be expected, he, 'post-operative' 'doctor' Barry Saffran (you'll see what I mean; if he operates on you), staying true to his lack of integrity and low character just keeps on contradicting himself, making excuses, playing dumb, and evasively talking in circles; and that's putting it politely (There's More To Be Said About That!). He was predictable, repetitive and going nowhere so FINALLY I had to Hang Up (or vomit). My phone record shows that I put up with his annoying nasally voice for a little over 24 minutes. ... Time your appointments with him, look at what he reports in 'YOUR' records and see if it matches. among other things. ..The fact remains, he had No Problem MUTILATING my foot (there is an underlying meanness to his tone and disposition, that I have never seen in any other Doctor before), and if he "picks" you, and 'gets his bases covered' 'by any means necessary, from collusion with 'his' fellow foot doctors to flat out lying on medical records' 'so he doesn't have to answer to anybody or anything', he'll have no problem 'stringing you along' and MUTILATING Your Foot Too (because, as he made perfectly clear to me in our phone 'conversation', he's "been doing 'this' a long time."). .... Folks, I'm in a **** of a lot of pain right now (20 plus months post-op). Without going into specific details, it feels like all the tissue and nerves in all the areas he 'touched' was chopped up recklessly by some kind of psychopath, scooped out, run through a meat grinder, then haphazardly stuffed back in and sewed back up; That's What It Feels Like! (OVER 20 MONTHS AFTER SURGERY; how 'patient' am I supposed to be?!). The surgical scars were jagged, as if a chainsaw were used, not clean, sharp and precise like I've seen on YouTube videos (maybe he purposely used a dull scalpel. Or his hand was shaking?). I will never forgive what that sneaky, crooked, corrupt, two-bit evil clown did to my foot and the way he went about it. Both, he knows, and now I know, what he essentially did was assault me while he had me completely sedated.

    Blue Ridge Orthopaedic Assocs
I have had back/spine pain for the last ten years. I'd been seeing a spine surgeon in Reston during this time, but found he wasn't really helping me. As he did a surgery on me 6 years ago, I felt obligated to see him.
And, he did not participate with my insurance, so I had to pay a lot out of  pocket.
A friend recommended Dr. Jeffry Wise at Blue Ridge Orthopaedic and Spine Center in Warrenton, and I decided to give it a try. I live in Haymarket, and work in Fairfax, so it's somewhat difficult to get to the office in Warrenton. That being said, the first time I saw Dr. Wise, he recommended that I go to physical therapy, and then to Dr. David Kim in his group, for pain management.
That was a little more than two months ago, and I feel like a changed person. Ryan Hott, my therapist, is AWESOME! And I can't say enough about Dr. Kim. He was very compassionate, and caring. And, most importantly, he listened to my story, and how I ended up at Blue Ridge.

call on MondayI scheduled a complete physical with Dr. Bell.  I went in on the day of the appt and had my blood work (CBC) done, my height and weight recorded and a blood pressure check.  I discussed an abbreviated health history with Dr. Bell and explained my concerns for losing weight.  She recommended a new drug and I decided to try it.  I had severe side effects after 2 months on the drug and wanted to change back to the other drug.  I have called the office and left msg to no avail.  The RN assistant called and told me that Dr. Bell was taking a course and she would return my call.  She has not.

    Chang, Dr. Christopher Y.
It has been a pretty good experience. I have been seeing him for ten years. Dr. Chang answers my questions, he is very informative. I book far out, so I don’t have any problems with availability. The office rooms are okay. They have a lot of kids in there, so I guess; they work with kids as well. When I am there, I have not had to wait too long.

    warrenton foot and ankle care
They are overwhelmed with patients because the other guy is no longer there. They have an overflow office in Fair Oaks, they just opened that up to take load off at the Warrenton one that is run by the same group and is called Fair Oaks Foot & Ankle Center. They are taking a bit longer than expected to get the foot insert made. Dr. Mariam is nice, she had therapy done on my foot and that helped. The PT therapist was very nice. They soak your foot, put wax on your feet, put tape on your feet and bandage it up, and that was okay. They are friendly. The office is small but it’s okay. They are on time. I see the PT person more than I see her and she is right on the money. The insert cost $400, I put half of it down and I still haven’t got my insert so I don’t know what is going on with that. I have been in there twice and they said, they will call me when it is ready. They are the only foot doctors in town, so I guess i would go back. I am overall happy with them expect for not getting the foot insert.

    Gastroenterology Associates - Gainesville
I have had pretty good luck with him over the years and I have been seeing him for quite a while. He is nice. He is personable and very professional. He has pretty much his own office now and he has a very nice setup, it looks like a hospital set up, you go back and you get the room setup like a hospital. It is a full service. His name sounds like he is Asian but he is six foot tall, doesn’t look at all Asian, so I don’t know about that but he is nice. I was there when Robert came out and he answered all our questions and gave us pictures, and a full report of what everything was. He is good. It didn’t seem like it took long to set up our appointment.  The office is excellent. The procedure room is very nice too. I went down and I needed to get some reports for my kidney transplant and they set up an appointment and they were going to charge for it upfront. He came back, looked at what was needed, looked at the reports and said, we are not going to charge you for this and told his staff not to charge for getting the reports. That was excellent.

PRINCE WILLIAM FOOT & ANKLE CENTER PC
Everyone was so friendly and sympathetic to my worries. I was comforted by Dr Bhakta and Jennifer's expertise and easy-going dispositions. Since my condition turned out to be one that is common and easy to treat, I didn't have to return for multiple appts. Dr Bhakta armed me with a plan and information that has helped me to this day deal with my condition. I haven't had to go back, BUT if I ever would have to go back, Dr Bhakta and his staff are so wonderful its one of the few doctor appts I'd look forward to.

No tests were ran at all. I was told to get a CT Scan and that showed nothing. After taking a few days to get the CT Scan I had to call to get the results and wait for a return call that took a few days. She told me that she didn't have a clue what it could be. I was told to get an Ultrasound and had called to see if it was received at Dr. Bell's office, it had sat in her inbox for 3 days and I had called twice to see if she had looked at it. Going through great pain and feeling very scared by the results I have yet to receive a call back. With no direction or what to do I feel at a great loss with the doctor. I will not be returning to this office. Just too slow and doesn't show that she cares.
10 days later and still haven't heard a word, left 2 messages with the receptionist. I've had to move onto another doctor that has gone on to check for cancer and still running tests at least they are doing something. I had to go retrieve my scans at the hospital.

    Fauquier Ear Nose & Throat
I was very impressed with his website but not with the in-person experience. I found Dr. Chang to be rather cold, abrupt, quiet and reticent. I expected lots of helpful information and advice since his website is so informative. But no. I wish he would have offered more information about possible causes, procedures and treatments. After a quick cleaning of the ear which did not help my problem, he offered an endoscope on the spot. I was taken aback and said I had to think about that. He did not offer explanations of why going through the nose would help my ear, what would be involved, what the possible causes were of my problem. I felt suddenly dismissed and am looking for someone else to go to.

    Lifetime Family Medicine
When I am not feeling well and try to discuss with him how I am feeling it seems like he goes to a more "computerized" idea to where he gets his symptoms and possible diagnosis from. Quite honestly, I can go to a computer to and get some direction but I prefer to speak with a doctor. He doesn't understand the thyroid and will not listen to the patient only labs. That isn't helpful at all and when I stated that I was getting low or down, I guess what I should have said was that It would be nice to have a Doctor that will help and be in my corner. He states that he can only do so much, then he sends them onto expensive specialists. I've gone to specialists only to have everything look great and nothing wrong. He is so quick to prescribe medication that I do NOT need for anxiety or depression. I do not have anxiety or depression I am frustrated at not having a doctor that listens to ME, the patient.  I am only feeling down and disgusted at having a Doctor that doesn't listen. It would be helpful to have a GP that would understand the thyroid a bit better instead of pretending that they do and waste time for the patient that is not feeling well. To be under prescribed for the thyroid is just as damaging as being over prescribed.
I had tested positive for blood in the urine and was told not to worry about it. I had to go to another doctor that told me that I needed to have a urologist check it out. Now dealing with that. He should have see how it's important to follow through with that.
