Driveway Pavers reviews in Warrenton

    Academy Sealers
They work very quickly; two workers arrived on schedule and did our 4000 sq. ft. driveway in about 30 minutes. A pretty thick coat of sealer was provided. The material used has a pungent tar odor that is strong for a few days, and takes a week or more to totally dissipate. If they had taken another 10 minutes to do the job right, rather than just fast, it would have been an A instead of a B. A few places were missed along the sides of the drive. I sealed all but one crack before they came, but contrary to their advertisement of what's included they did not seal the crack I missed. They did not pre-treat the bad oil stains, while their advertisement led me to believe that was included. Those stains came back through the sealer. There are a few places where they got material on the stones and bricks lining our driveway. Their price was in the middle of quotes we got. I listed these few issues when I paid the invoice.

    George w asphalt paving
Awful. I used them because they had a 5 star rating but it was a disaster. George used a blowtorch to "kill" the grass. All that did was make the cracks wider, about 3 inches, and make the grass roots stronger. The cracks were filled with the sealer which didn't dry for several months and driveway ended up with a lot more cracks that when I started. When I said how disappointed I was the response was "well you can't expect to have a perfect driveway if you it's cracked to start with". If it has been perfect to begin with I wouldn't have needed to hire this company. Price was higher than it should have been and I was told I had to pay an additional $100+ for them to clear the grass at the edges of the driveway because it took longer than they anticipated. This amount was eventually returned as I was so unhappy with the driveway.

    Kerrigan Paving
Very well until it came time to pay. I was told the company accepted credit cards but after the work was done, I was told they didn't accept credit cards and I had to find a lot of money so I could pay by check.

Driveway looks great. Only hiccup was payment. I was told they accepted credit cards but after the job was done I was told they didnt accept credit cards so I had to find cash. Not a good situation to find yourself in.

    Academy Sealers
I thought everything was going to be fine. They ended up getting something white all over my blacktop. I called them about it and they sent somebody out to try and get it off and he couldn't get it off. It looks like melted concrete streaks on the blacktop.

    Collegiate Sealers & Paving
It didn't. Based on the glowing Angie's list recommendations, and that of my next door neighbor, I contacted the company over a month ago to initiate the process, and was promised that an estimator would be by our home within 7 business days, and that an estimate would then be emailed to me. Two weeks later, I called to check up on the status of the estimate, and a very harried man answered the phone and said they were "very backed up." I asked if they were too backed up to even get around to helping me with my little driveway project, and he said, yes, we're very backed up. In other words, we don't need or care about your business. Very disappointing. So now, I'm a full month behind the eight-ball on getting the work done and now having to find someone else to do the work. The ironic thing is that my next door neighbor had his resealed by Collegiate today! I told the man on the phone that it's too bad their company wasn't more coordinated with their logistics because it woudl have been the easiest thing in the world to do both driveways that are right next too each other at the same time... and he didn't know what to say. He apologized for not getting an estimate and said that one of their estimators has been out of town for a while. So, I'm not very impressed at all by their lack of professionalism and efficiency. I'll look elsewhere.

There's a crack in the driveway. I had them come out to pave my driveway a few years ago and now there's a crack. Last year they came out a put some oil on it but the crack is still there. This year, I called to get them to come fix it and they are not returning my calls.

    Academy Sealers
Academy came out as promised twice to seal my driveway.  The first time they did a textbook perfect job.  However, a rain storm that evening and the next 4 day did not allow the seal to dry.  I called the and told them about the rain and they volunteered to reseal the driveway.  They did this on Sunday, May 15, 2016.  The only reason I did not give an excellent rating this time is because they did not refill the cracks the way they did the first time.  They only did a re-application of the sealer.  I assumed that they had a backlog of work due to all of the rain and therefore did not take the same amount of time they did the first time.  Other than that omission, I am very satisfied.

    John Donohue Asphalt Paving
From my first interaction with Donohue Paving and John Donohue it was professional. He explained everything, gave great pricing and had good communication as we waited for weather come around.
They did good work and cleaned up nicely.
    Great job!
