Scheduled appointment. Technician called and said they were 20 minutes out during the two-hour window they provided. Waited and waited. Technician never arrived nor called to say there were suddenly unable to come. Called main office and was told technician was no longer able to come and to reschedule. Will not reschedule.

I was very surprised that they were able to schedule the work the very next day and I didn't even need to be there since it was an external repair job. The technician took very detailed before and after photos and sent them and the paperwork via email. Recently purchased my home. Of course within a month I noticed the flex cap was peeling off the top of my chimney. Found a receipt for when the flex cap was installed in Nov 2010. The receipt said there was a 10 year manufacturers warranty. I called Step in Time to inquire about the warranty. I was informed that the material would be covered however I would need to pay for labor which would be $250. Ok, lets do it.

When I called, they scheduled the estimate for the next day, and were on time. Michael Shipe did the estimate, the owner of the company. Michael was very nice, looking at the brick chimneys that need to be repairs above the roof (starting to fall apart). However, he said he would have to send a mason to take a look at those.
