  • They took up the old carpet and replaced it with hardwood.  They cleaned up everyday before they left. Ricky and Tommy did a wonderful job.  It was a pretty big job. We had not moved in yet so they did not have to move anything. But they will if thats what you need.  It was a little high in price but we had checked out other places and hardwood to compare.  Fashion Floors has the highest quality product that you will find any where. Ricky and Tommy were quiet and took no breaks except for lunch.  Even the pad that was used under the hardwood was of the highest quality.  I had checked on that with other stores also.
All I can say is CHECK OUT THE REST "  BUT GET THE BEST"  FASHION FLOORS.
Rick, the owner helped  me pick out the color. I liked everything.  He matched up my Kitchen Cabinets and woodwork with the hardwood.   It was "River Bed birch"  if I remember right.  It was beautiful and I am so glad we had this done.

  • They started the job promptly, however, I wasn't told that Mr. Lee had gone out of town and would not be overseeing the work. They finished quickly but when I showed the guy in charge the irregularity in the color of the stain, he said "oh, not right, we will do again". So they resanded, stained and polyurethaned without taking up the trim(he had told me they would remove the trim). Thus, there was pooled stain at the edge and the groove that didn't get sanded. They came back, sanded, stained and poly'ed again. Mr. Lee did the last steps himself, as well as putting on new molding strips. The workers spashed stain and poly on my walls in many places and especially on the woodwork on my doors throughout. I paid the full amount, but shouldn't have. The emotional upset of dealing with this controversy for the whole month of July, having to repeatedly tell them it was unsatisfactory, I am aware of others who have had problems with them since. I'm scared for the future because they've been sanded as many times as they can be sanded. I left Mr. Lee a message later, because I had a question and I also wanted to tell him his guys had left a tool and a shirt, but he didn't return the call.

  • Beautiful work! Matt has a true appreciation and an in-depth knowledge of hardwood floors, and that shines through in his work and attention to detail. When I purchased the house, the hardwoods throughout were covered with a dreary wall-to-wall carpet. I pulled that out; underneath was a mess of pet stains, paint, deep scratches... I thought I was going to have to put in all new hardwoods. Matt thought with the right combination of sanding and stain, he could revive the existing floors. I had the initial work done by him in 2011. That estmate was $3000 for the living room, dining room, hall and two bedrooms, including moldings. He finished in three days and was slightly under the estimate. This time, I had him finish the remaining 2 bedrooms, and again, it was beautiful work. The floors look brand new, and he put in new mouldings which he stained to match the floor. I originally had an estimate done for that initial work by a big-name refinisher...the estimate was more than $4,000 more than Matt's. I would most definitely use him again. Matt is what small business is all about: expertise, pride in a job well-done, and pricing fairly for his customers.

  • Made an appointment then Matt had to change it.  He came the following week after I called him back to give a estimate.  I called many time to ge the cost of the estimate.  I had ask fot the estimate to be broken down seperately, showing the cost of labor and materials for each room in case I could not afford to do all rooms at one time.  After many calls Matt sent me a letter showing the total cost of the estimate and then left out some of the details reguarding hardwood already in place.  I called Matt and was told he would be back on a certain date.  He later called and said he needed to reschedule that appointment , which we did and I haven't heard a word out of Ed's Floors since.  This is not the way a professional business should be run in my opinion!
