APierce Siding & Window CoSUPER SATISFIED! The Pierce Siding & Window crew arrived on time, and worked tirelessly to remove and replace 12 windows in an old house. They encountered some problems with past owners' DIY repairs but powered through, paying meticulous attention to each window, making sure each one was set correctly, sealed, and finished. They cleaned up the work site - you'd never know they'd been there except for the sparkling new windows. Midway through the job, Mr. Pierce advised me that the agreed-upon price was going to be several hundred dollars LOWER than originally specified, due to an ordering error. AMighty Dad Flooring & Home RepairWe hired Mighty Dad in late spring/early summer of 2020 to do the construction part of a deck remodeling job (plus the last not-insignificant demolition step that we didn't finish). He replaced the old weathered wood planking with composite material and railing, and worked around some challenging deficiencies in the original underlying deck frame so we wouldn't have to completely replace the entire structure at much higher cost. Jeff worked around our schedule and kept us apprised of any questions or unexpected things that came up. We're totally happy with the end result, and it should last for many enjoyable years with almost no maintenance!- Jeff R.

AAppalachian Building ConceptsMike & Louis did a wonderful job - great carpentry skills, arrived when they said, cleaned up each day (3 days) and the result was a terrific looking deck; Mike even took some of our old chairs to the dump when he brought his trash. AVery good! Chris called me almost immediately after I registered on Angie's List. I had already been told by my regular HVAC service tech that a replacement unit would cost about $7000 if paid in cash or offered me a financing/service contract for 10 years at $140+ a month!! Come on guys! Chris with B&B came by the next day (Monday), we talked and he offered to replace my current Goodman units with slightly better rated ones for $4500 and would do it the next day! He and his assistance were done in under the 3 hours the next day that Chris said it would take. Very happy with the products and the services so far!! He even honored the $100 coupon that was on your site.

AThomas, was exceptional. Great prices, arrived early, and got the job done earlier than he said it would be. My floors look great. He was very informative, to help me figure out what floors would work best with my budget and life style. Very accomidating and went above and beyond. He even warranties his labor, I don't know anyone who does that. For now on, we are using TNT Home Improvements for everything we need.

AFor several years my husband and I disagreed on remodeling the master bath. One day I looked at the huge garden tub and the amount of space it consumed and decided he was right! I immediately went to Angie’s list and found Ascension Builders. I contacted the office and in no time, Matt Van Alstine returned my call. We talked about what I had in mind and he set up a time to come give us an estimate. He was very polite and considerate. He removed his shoes at the front door! We talked about options to open the small room. He sent us an estimate and my husband and I agreed it was quite reasonable. We also wanted the basement door and casing replaced and Matt said that would not be a problem. From the first day, I knew we had chosen the best company. Matt and his son did a lot of the work; and the subcontractors who work with Matt were great. Matt consulted us on each stage of the job and was very understanding when I had questions. One of the things I appreciated most was Matt’s attention to detail. My husband told Matt he would like to do the wood trim and the painting of the bathroom and Matt did not have a problem with that. Unfortunately, my husband encountered some health issues and when I told Matt, he did not even blink. He simply said no problem and did that part of the job also. Each day all the debris and dust were swept and removed. Matt made accommodations to suit our schedule and said “we are guests in your home” which meant a lot to me. It was, indeed, a pleasure work with Matt, his son and all the crew. I will not wait as long for the next renovation.
