    First Team Subaru
They took a dead mouse out of my motor. He was in the air filter system. It took forever to get rid of the smell. They put a special antibacterial sanitizer through the air system when they cleaned it but even doing that it didn't get rid of the smell totally. We've bought Nisan's for the last 20 years and we will keep going back. They are top notch.

    Sears Stores Valley

In April 2013 I purchased and had installed in my 06 GMC Sierra 2500 two Platinum batteries (the truck takes two).  Sears describes this battery as their best, as well they should be at $286.00 per battery.  Yesterday, January 9, 2015, less than two years into the warranty period, I went to this service center after having to jump my vehicle several times, generally when it is parked for more than 48 hours, or when parked overnight in temperatures of less than 20 degrees.  When I called, the service department, managed by Denis, told me that they had exact replacement batteries on the shelf, and the test/replacement would take less than an hour.  I arrived at 12:45 PM, and the test was completed around 1:30.  The mechanic said the test showed that the batteries were working properly, and were holding a charge...they would do nothing for me.  Their in-house test notwithstanding, my real-world test/experience clearly indicates that the batteries are not holding a charge as long as one would expect, especially during these colder months.  As Denis refused to honor the warranty, I asked that they replace the batteries with exact replacement batteries, and that I would bear the full cost, intending to argue my case later with someone further up the chain.  After two more hours of watching my vehicle sit completely unattended in the work bay, I began looking for a reason the truck was not being worked on.  I couldn't find a single person in the retail area of the center, so I wandered into the work bay, only to find every mechanic doing their very best to avoid me.  Finally, I cornered one mechanic and asked him why nothing was being done on my truck...his answer:  "we don't have the batteries in stock."  When I asked, no, at this point I demanded, to see the manager, I found that he had left property at lunch, and that no one else could help.  When the manager, "Denis" did return, his attitude was of complete disregard and ambivalence.  It was like, "whatever man, I do have "Gold" batteries which I can put in and their just one rating down from the Platinum."  Well excuse me if I'm a little bit under impressed after having them tell me they have the batteries in stock when in fact they did not, refuse to honor the warranty, leave me sitting in the waiting room for several hours without even bothering to let me know they didn't have the batteries in stock, run away when I was obviously looking for someone to answer questions, and made no offer to offset any of this, unless one accepts the offer to install lesser batteries at full price some kind of accommodation.  I is clear to me why the Sears brand, once an American standard, has been in decline for many years now, and I am confident will soon go the way of BlackBerry and many others that thought they could sit on their laurels and failed to continue placing the expectations of their customers first.  My recommendation:  Get your vehicle parts/service anywhere but Sears Auto Centers.  BTY, the coffee in their dank sitting room was stone cold!

    The Sportscar Clinic
Fine James and Matt are laid back, polite, knowledgeable. The store appears to be very clean. Work was done on time, and they actually called to let me know the Altima and the highlander were ready. I am a retired service director, and manager. The Clinic seems to be honest and reasonable, with quality services and common sense.

Super, everything was done on a timely, efficient manner. Very professional employees. The garage itself is absolutely immaculate, the floors sparkle, above being very clean! I would recommend this garage to anyone. My husband and I have used them for years. They truly put the service and their customers above the dollar!

I brought in my Buick for overheating problems. I asked them not to road test since the problem occurred under conditions not available around here. But to check the fans, fan relay and radiator airflow and whatever else could contribute to overheating at low speed and extreme load. So, of course, they road-tested the car, found nothing wrong and did none of my other requests! If they had performed the three tests I proposed and then found nothing amiss, I would have been satisfied. Although I had made the appointment 8 days prior and the work should have required only an hour or two, it took two days! During that time, I got phone messages asking me to call them and then they failed to take my return calls. It never occurred to them that a "message" should tell the customer the status of the repair. A "call me back" is NOT a message, merely phone tag. This was nothing new. In the Spring of 2012 I tried to schedule a service visit by landline phone and was told again that they were busy and would call back. After sitting over the phone for 3-4 hours, I phoned again. Same baloney. I hate to give these pleasant people a bad review, but am just stating the facts.

It is a small shop. I have been there on several occasions. I have taken my mother?s car there. I have taken my pick-up truck there and I have also taken my wife?s car for an inspection. So, we have taken three vehicles there. My wife spent about $50 when she last took her car in. They provide good service. They have always done good work. I can?t think of anything they have done that has bothered me. They are good all the way around.
