    Coghlan Enterprises
Pat and his team were great. Very courteous, professional and talented people. The crew all seemed to get along very well and their attitudes were great. Would definintely hire them again. Also, Pat's price was comparable to other estimates that I received.

    Coghlan Enterprises
We contacted Coghlan Painting. They came out the next day and gave us estimates for both jobs. We called them back and within a day they gave us a written estimate. There was some leeway given in the dates to do the work Both jobs needed to be done when it was dry and the powerwashing needed to be done first. When we were provided dates but told that they were weather dependent. The dates slid a few days because of weather but they on the first dry day they were there working at 8:00 a.m. They did an excellent job and cleaned everything up comletely. I would recommend them and would hire them again.

    Sturdevant Construction
Six months plus overdue. Entire job subcontracted out with a consistent change in personnel. Poor craftsmanship and the existing structure was damaged. Numerous inspection failures. Had to hire other workers on our own to complete project.

    Williamsburg Maintenance Inc
We had a contract to power wash our house including gutters for $400, placed screens on windows @ 4 to 5 men estimated hours for for 225, cutting a dead tree for $ 150 and placing curtain rod holders at last minute thing for $75. We went back and forth about putting screens and men hours on email about if they spend less time the owner will adjust $ and vise versa. Finally we agreed and signed an agreement.

Work begin and they were punctual. One worker took the screens out of the attic and I helped to transfer it to the garage. He then helped me to place curtain rods on 2 bedroom windows. Before the guy finished putting the curtain rods the foreman came and said he needed him outside for the power wash so he hurried up and screwed up putting the curtain holder about an half an inch away from the window.

As the guys were finishing up power washing the back of the house near my pool I saw spider webs and dirt on the window so I told the foreman that they had to be clean to put the screens up otherwise what is the point of washing. So he had to rewash again. Few hours later he came in the house and told me they were going to put the screens up and fortunately I was making lunch for my children using microwave oven so I was able to glance at the clock. About an hour later the foreman said they were finished and everything looked good at that time as I was attending to my 3 children.

Then this was a big surprise, I had to write a check only and If I pay with a credit card I had to pay more for credit card service fee.
Now keep in mind that we just bought the house and moved back from 8 years of overseas military assignments so we were using a credit card to keep track of our spending. Had I been informed earlier about writing a check would have been no problem.

So this week I finally opened our windows and some of the screens came lose. They did not secure those little lock clip things so my husband had to go around and check them.

Then few days later I got an email from the owner his foreman forgot to charge for placing screens on the windows and ask me to mail a check to his office. I called him and left him a message that I will pay with a credit card. But I did not get a reply. A week later he sent me another email that he wanted to drop by and pick up a check for $225. I then sent him an email stating that his men only spent an hour on the screens and that I will pay with credit card. I ask him to do the right thing. That was almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard from him.

The men kept saying how busy they are and I am thinking do other people roll over and cover their credit card service fees by paying more or just write a check or give cash? $625 is still a lot of money and I thought credit card is more convenient.

Last year this company cleaned our gutters.  they were on time and did the job well.
This year, I was searching Angie's List for someone to stain our fence - Lenny's Power Washing and Sealing came up.  I did not realize they stained fences, but they had good reviews.  On the 6th of May I submitted a request for an estimate to get our fence stained and our gutters cleaned.
Later that day, I received a call from a company rep who was on site.  He checked out the fence and said they'd get an estimate to me.
On the 15th of May I called to inquire about my estimate.  I wound up speaking to the same person who'd called me.  He started working on the estimate, then said he would have to call me back.
As of May 26th I have not received a call or an email regarding the estimate I'd requested.  Hopefully they get their business processes straightened out.  As it stands, they were not rude, nor were they combative, hence a "D" instead of an "F".

    All Smiles Roof Cleaning
I was highly pleased! The work was done very well, with high-quality, neatness, and it was complete and speedy. The siding looked very clean. The windows were sparkling. Our deck, with artificial plastic planking, was dingy, discolored and grimy looking. My attempts on hands and knees with a scrub brush did no good. They cleaned it to like new in a few minutes. Same for an ugly oil spill on our driveway. Looks great, now. Their price was quite fair and they give free estimates. Nice to work with, too. They are courteous and professional and very responsive. I will use them again in two years.

    Holland Custom Painting
We are so glad we contracted with Scottie Holland. The house we recently purchased was painted with colors that we like to refer to as "a  bag of skittles" and the ceilings had been painted semi-gloss throughout the house. We are more fundamentally neutral folks. Scottie answered my call right away and was at our house within two hours to give us an estimate. We had just moved in that week and we were trying to not unpack before getting the painting done. Scottie sensed our urgency. He spent an hour with us viewing the home, talking about colors and explaining every step they would take to insure we would be satisfied. Things would be covered with painter tarps, closets and trim would be painted first, whatever we needed would be accomplished. This man and his team started painting on a Sunday and painted straight through 8 more days to get us in the house. This job required renting scaffolding, and some rooms took 3 coats of paint to cover the existing wall color. His team was courteous, respectful and very hardworking. One gentleman, Lynn always has a smile on his face. Scottie even offered to help me bring in groceries one rainy afternoon. It was a great experience for us and we look forward to working with Holland Custom Painting for all our painting needs. Job well done Scottie. We are thrilled with how it has turned out. Thank you for all your hard work on our behalf.

    Awnings by Bigley & Hogshire
I have a retail business and was recently in need of an awning. We had used Taylor Bigley in the past (about 7 years ago) so we called him to get a quote for our new store. I was impressed to learn that they had expanded their operation which gave them the ability to not only weld their own frames but also stitch the custom canvas.
As expected the quality of service, communication and end result was better than expected. I highly recommend Awnings by Bigley!

    Kausland Services
Arne Kausland arrived promptly for the initial estimate, and provided a detailed proposal for all of the work I was considering having done.  I had him quote some additional exterior work that I was also considering having done. The prices were reasonable and within my expectations. He was careful in his analysis of what needed to be done, identifying rotten wood, and other repairs needed. From the time I confirmed what I wanted done until the end of the job Arne was very good about telling me exactly when he would be arriving and keeping me updated as the job progressed. He was very knowledgeable about cleaning the cedar siding, removing mildew, staining and repairs. I plan to call him again for work that I need completed in the future.
