    They are good people. Great people to deal with. Just took a lot longer than I expected to do the work. They had to order the part again, and it came back wrong, and they had to re-order the part. It was on their end, so I am not sure how that happened. They had to wait until the part came in, and they also had other work to do. It took three to four hours to complete. The workers were ok. The area was good.

    I called on a Thursday to schedule for the following Monday and was told that that would be acceptable. So I scheduled a tech to come out Monday morning first thing. I never received a confirmation of the appointment and no tech came as scheduled. So I called the company and asked about my appointment at which time I was told someone would be out to my home between 0930 and 1000 am. No one showed, so I made several attempts to call the company back but no one answered. my call was forwarded to an answering machine to which I left a message and no one returned my call. I was finally able to get a call answered around 3pm at which time I was told someone would be out shortly. I asked that they call me back and confirm someone was ACTUALLY on the way and no one did. A tech finally showed up about 330 pm took measurements, apologized for the issues and told me the foreman would call me back and that he would see if he could get us a discount because of the difficulties we had encountered. I never received a call back and the following day requested to speak to the "Head person in charge". I received a call from a guy named Sam, who listened to my story then said, "let me stop you right there,....you need to call someone else, we don't want your business." and hung up on me!

    We were originally given an estimated start time of 4 weeks after the windows were ordered. They were finished earlier and Nick called to arrange a start date approximately one week sooner than we had originally anticipated. We had 2 windows that were originally some type of glass doors (our neighbor's house is an exact duplicate so you can compare the two). They were converted to windows at some point prior to us purchasing the house. This is a very old home, built somewhere around 1935, and nothing is standard size. It turned out those 2 windows were not as straight forward as the others. It took them a couple of hours on the first window to get the old one out and the frame ready for the new one. The second window went a bit faster but still took much longer than they had anticipated. They probably lost a half day on these two windows. Nick came by at the end of the first day and checked on everything. Things went much quicker after that. The crew was always courteous and friendly. When they finished it looked like a new house.

    I would not do services with a company that states they can give you an estimate but declined unless they could speak to both of us. It was a bad experience. It reminds me of going to a car dealership dealing with a bunch of shenanigans.

    I felt like I wasted $39. I know it is not a lot of money but I didn't get what I wanted - to have the safety reverse checked. After Jeff left I researched the problem, which was the need to adjust the travel and force on the garage door opener unit. Granted it took me an hour to do it myself but now the safety reverse works on my garage door.

    Brandon showed up. He did replace my front door. My contract read that he was to remove and replace the door and frame.
    This was not done. I could not get in touch with ACE until they finished installing my door.  Shawna did not come to the job sigh and inspect the work as she said she would. I did over pay for what I received. This was my fault. I made the mistake and used HomeAdvisor. I will not do that again.

    AMAZING & AFFORDABLE HANDYMAN
    I was pleased with them for a while, but now I am not pleased with them at all.  I gave them money to install some windows and do some gutter work. They did the gutter work, but they never did come back to replace the windows. I am asking them for my money back for the windows, and I am getting no response from them. I gave them 2/3 down. I had never had any problem with them prior to this.

    Ok, I quoted this project to one other contractor and I was felt more comfortable with Mr. Belletto, just had a better gut feeling. I am not always impressed with the cheapest but it just so happened that his pricing was neither low or high. On the initial visit, I wasn't positively sure how I wanted to change my bathroom, but I had some ideas. Dan was very good at explaining pros and cons for any option I discussed. He recommended the transom window for my shower...this was discussed a lot...we were not sold on it but he was sure it would be the best option. We are very happy with the outcome of this window. Dan delivered the quote faster than he said he would. I took a few weeks to get back to him and when I called to ask about signing a contract, the follow up visit was quick....so far so good. We were told the project may start in about 30 days (approximate) and he gave me a shopping list ( we will be purchasing all of the designer options- tile, grout, vanity, fixtures, etc.) Be warned!!! This is a tough task. It's hard to visualize it if you are not a professional. Dan provided recommendations for contacts at various suppliers. We ended up exploring some others too and used some of his recommendations and some of our own. The project was delayed a few more weeks then originally stated, but it was not a big issue for us, we were fine with the delay. We tried to have all of the supplies in our garage prior to their start. For loads that will cost you a delivery fee, Belletto offers to pick it up from the store for no extra cost. I was stunned by that offer...and relieved. I was praised for having all of the items purchased and ready for install. Be prepared, you might need to still shop for stuff, or get extra of something...this is just part of the process. Our house is not that old, so there were not any expensive surprises like you see on TV shows. I was so worried about that. These guys are good at keeping it mellow. The crew was made up of Kenny and Clarence. The guys were nice and helpful. They gave you their opinion if you ask, but be sure you talk it out and let them know...they are not mind readers. Be prepared for possible time off or necessary absences. It happens, just like any job. It did happen and if we were concerned, we talked to the owner. He responded with some extra help to keep the job moving. I completely trusted the guys in my house and they spent a lot of time with my dog. They even took her out to go to the bathroom and would check on her if they has not seen her in a while. The guys would make changes if we changed our minds (nothing crazy, maybe move an outlet after the drywall was installed- I felt bad making the request, but they reminded me it was part of the process and not a big deal. If it was big deal, they hid it well. Please offer your coffee machine to these guys, they like to drink coffee and they don't really take lunches...I wish I had realized that sooner, I might have given them some snacks and offered up the coffee pot sooner. I love all of my new features in my house! We did feel like this took a long time when we were in the middle of it, but looking back it was...well we were so happy to have our house back, we forgot the pain. Every bit of it was worth it. We love love love all of it! At the end their was a bill for the add-ons, we were fine with the cost and had a piece of mind that we didn't have to do the last minute items ourselves....some drywall skim coat after I removed the wallpaper in my kitchen, we updated lighting in the spare bathroom and added some new faucets in the bathrooms....they did it and were happy to make that change for me at a moment's notice.

    The company showed up when they stated and installed both windows. The bathroom window was installed with no issue. The kitchen window had the issue. The grids between the panes of glass was floating loose. I pointed this out to the installer. The issue is everytime you close a door the grids slap between the panes of glass. They have tried 5 times to get the factory to fix this issue. They actual came out 3 times to find the same issue with the new window. They would not install the window just take it off the truck and unwrap it. If this was my company, I would open the window on company premises and check before coming out to the customer. I had to take off from work. They never did fix the issue, I was selling my home and it took over 5 months for all this to unravel. I paid for the bathroom window and they took the charge off for the kitchen window.
    If you are installing grids between the panes of glass, I would look at other companies.
